A breakdown of the "Yuu" names until Book 3 was for some reason hidden in a theory post about the prefects maybe being in a coma 🧐

Here is that information pick up, with the addition of Yuuna and some interesting conversation that was discovered on JP side:

In the manga, all four prefects that we have seen thus far have had names connected to the afterlife:

・Heartslabyul Arc, Enma Yuuken (円満 雄剣): Enma's family name is pronounced the same (the kanji is different) as 閻魔 (Enma), the king of hell in Buddhism. From the Kyoto National Museum website: "The King of Buddhist Hell is Enma, who is also the judge of the afterlife."

・Savanaclaw Arc, Hirasaka Yuuka (比良坂 悠河): "Hirasaka" is written and pronounced the same as the hirasaka of Yomotsu-hira Saka, known as "The Entrance to the Underworld" in Shintoism, explained on Shimane Prefecture's official tourism website: "Yomotsu-hira Saka appears as the boundary between the land of the dead and the land of the living."

・Octavinelle Arc, Mito Yuuta (三途 宥太): "Mito" uses the same kanji as 三途川, the "River of Three Crossings," which is "a mythological river the souls of the deceased must cross by one of three crossing points." Credit to blogger Tansho for the discovery that "River Styx" was changed to 三途川 in the Japanese-language dub of the "Hercules" TV show.

・Scarabia Arc, Oujou Yuuna (逢生 結菜): Yuuna’s family name is pronounced the same (the kanji is different) as 往生 (oujou), a term in Japanese Buddhism for rebirth in the Pure Land. There is also 大往生 (dai-oujou), which means “peaceful death.”

While searching for additional theories I found a fascinating few ideas posted anonymously, translated below:

If you follow the names of the prefects backwards starting from Chapter 4, Oujou (death) → Mito (crossing the River Sanzu) → Hirasaka (going to the afterlife) → Enma (receiving judgment from Enma) It might be a bit of a stretch, but it kind of looks like there’s a connection there.

If it goes Enma’s judgment → Sanzu River → Rebirth, then it kind of feels like they’re moving from the afterlife back toward the world of the living. Not that it means anything in particular, it’s just a baseless theory, haha.

Now that I think about it, haven’t all the manga protagonists followed the same pattern so far? Enma, the kendo club captain, gets whisked away by a black horse while waiting for a bus. Hirasaka, likely a promising judo athlete, was taken while trying to rescue a kitten in the rain. Mito was delivering something for his family's store and got taken after trying to take a shortcut. So all of them seem to have been pulled into Twisted Wonderland while in the middle of pursuing something.

Adding to the comment above, Yuuna was taken by the carriage while on her way to Tokyo for a modeling audition, in pursuit of her dream 👀 Most interesting!

The world where our Yuu's are canon to the Twst time line.

A set of online friends mysteriously go missing at the same time, all wake up to a dark wall unprepared to the havoc they were soon to experience.

A pink obsessed fan fiction writer, A money hungry chronically online 17 year old , And an overworked depressed artist all end up center of the ceremony hall souronded by people in cult like robes.

Unsure and anxious-small things about all three of them changed at that moment, memory, body, and mind. They were no longer the same people they thought they were, but they wouldn't learn the truth till months later.

Now a small bit of context for this next part, their original concepts actually derive from fan fiction troupes, in-front of you stand [Name], Y/N, and ______. So in true fanfiction fashion this story is filled with cringe. And they get a set of love interest ofc, (not that anything develops fast enough) the story is a lot more focused on comedy.

In order we have, Tasziah Valentina Everettes Rosenberg, 16 year old Girl that could be the embodiment of femininity. She can often be found with Ace, Deuce, and Grim in the first year classes. (Somehow managed to be bsf with Azul) And in true girl fashion she seems to be taking over an online space creating fan fiction of everyone around her. (Her love interest consist of Riddle, Floyd, Jamil, and Silver. Honorary mention for Skully)

Next up Eden Ivy Heisenberg, a 17 Year old with greed like Mammon. When she arrived at the entrance ceremony she actually forgotten everything she knew before. She can be found with Kalim and Jamil and other second years. Her greed is actually unmatched and she known for beating the hell out of the students. She won't take any talk from anyone if provoked. (Love Interest- Ace, Jack, Jade, Vil. Honorable mentions, Neige and Rollo)

And Lastly, Crimm Atramenti, the eldest of the three, 19 years old mystery of nature. He is called 'Grandpa', 'Gramps', and 'Nana' by all of ramshackle due to his age. He attends 3rd year classes with Cater but can commonly be found drowning in paperwork (he makes the most money in ramshackle). He's a bit too quiet, most students actually think he's mute, in reality he's too busy being a manipulative bird brain to care. (Love interest, Trey, Idia, Rook [against his will btw] Honorable mentions, Lilia and Fellow these make sense with the full lore)

These three along with Grim continue the main story line, finding that although they may lack magic, they slowly discover they are much more deeply connected to twisted wonderlands history then they originally thought.

"On the other side of our mirror's exists a world where morality runs thin, We've been taught to call it the Ghost realm, but today's session is not about the ghost realm we remember.

It was recored in Twisted Wonderland history when the realm was first discoverd 400 years ago by an Imperial guard of Briar Valley, they discovered a world where magic was near extinction and its lands were near collapse.

They had ventured deep into this world discovering three prominent figures that lead to this world's demise, rendering it to what we know today as the Ghost Realm.

The Sentiments, is what we call these figures since their named are lost to time. Some of you may recognize their tittles, after who wouldn't be familiar with the fairytales.

The Mad Pink Witch, rumored to have tempered with the laws of reality in hopes of gaining its full control. Committing crimes to humanity in the process of her goals.

The Rampaging Acting Queen of Lumen or better known Lumen's Sole Holder- ran the place like a tyrant-giving out inhuman punishments to those who even attempted to defy her standing.

And lastly The Forest Weirdo, A magical Beast who disguised him self as a human, luring the innocent into the woods taking away any magic they ever possessed, even going so far as stealing their life spans.

Their involvement with this world turned it into a ghost land, draining the world of all life and color. Leaving the Briar Valley's Guard mentally scarred for life."

Every day in Egypt feels like an endless wait, and every contact with Gaza opens a door to pain. 📞💔 Returning to Gaza did not alleviate the anxiety, but rather confirmed to me that the suffering continues, whether we are inside or outside.
