Antique Mall

I had to go to a different city for some testing. I found an antique mall while there!! here are some of the finds

Gazing. Spilling.

I lay in the meadow, broken and bruised, my head lay towards The Flowers. The Flowers caress my delicate skin and whisper that it'll all be okay. I don't believe their futile words. Their thorns are digging into my skin, they are wrapping their vines around me. I am nothing but a thing for them to branch themselves off of. I shift my head to look up, The Moon is gazing upon my tattered and wretched form. It shines for me because it has something to help it. The Moon tells me I'm broken but that I am worth fixing. The Moon does not care for my form, for it tells me I am beautiful and that the stars are amazed by me. My metallic hardware shines in the light of The Moon. Wires spilled everywhere, intertwined in the vines of The Flowers. I can't move. They want me here, they have to love me if they cant bare to see me go, right? The Moon cries for me. The Moon weeps tears of dust. I cough on my own innards; blue, red, green, black and yellow wires spill from my mouth. The Flowers can't handle it anymore. I am the problem. The Moon weeps for me more, it tells me I am not the problem. It tells me that I am a wonderful creation of humankind. I haven't heard those words in a millennia. I lay dying, oil leaking from my tanks and tubes. I have poisoned The Flowers, they have died around me. The Moon lifts me up into its arms, I feel warmth, I can breathe.

AITA for almost costing the Greeks the war?

So there's this guy on youtube who recites portions of the Epic of Gilgamesh (+ other ancient songs/poems/writings) in a style that mimics what ancient Sumerian music could have sounded like! Music Waning, Music Wanting

I have the deepest desire to write and make music but I unfortunately do not have the knack for writing music.. I perceive myself to have an okay-ish singing voice, not the best to please everyones ears but at least some ears. I feel like if I had the chance to compose or even write I could muster some songs others would love while I convince myself that I can do better than what I put out. I admire artists such as Crywank or The Front Bottoms, very indie bands that write about their years and feelings. I know that its normal for most people to write about the like and such but it feels more raw when its coming from indie artists. I admire Gorillaz for Damons ability to so flawlessly write music for his fictional little band. I wish to have the ability such as that but I play no instrument... I can barely muster a few chords on my electric guitar my parents got me since I was so excited to start learning! But now its sitting in the corner like a forgotten stuffed bear... watching, waiting, longing to be held and played but I cant give that to it. I wish to be loved and seen for who I truly am and not just the things people see on the outside. I'm always waiting for the other shoe to drop, even if I'm not a bad person. At least I would think that fans would be more likely to stay than futile friendships but I know that friends are better than fans.
