sirius who's insecure about his body hair when he's younger, because his family and especially walburga keeps ragging on about purity and put shame on body hair. sirius grows up watching his mother's 2 hour hair removal routine and her disgusted looks and comments about people with unshaved legs etc. she hates it on everyone, no matter the gender, tells sirius it's dirty.

he overcomes that when first james (somewhat platonically) and later remus (extremely sexually) take great positive notice of his hair. they have each shoved their faces into his arm pit uncountable times.

thinking..... thinking about remus not being really that hairy even despite his lycanthropy.... like in a wolf from? sure. but im thinking about him having pretty wispy and fair hair all over his body, and if lycanthropy somehow affects that, let it be. but like im thinking about remus not being able to grow his beard out due to, maybe, some scratches, tissue damage or hair follicle damage??? like canonically he probably did not have face scars and such, but i can believe that he was probably hurting his face during the transformations, too. so like remus who has literally three hairs above his mouth, poorly looking beard with really weak, wispy and fair hairs. he tries to grow it out but like.... 😟 stop embarrassing yourself atp.... also, all over his body its not that impressive, especially next to...... sirius...... who i like to imagine as a really hairy person bc why not...... sirius with a full, thick hair on his head, dark and healthy beared, hairy arms, stomach, chest, thighs, calves, pits, groin. hair is everywhere and its dark and thick and voluminous and pretty and just.... like a carpet, really. maybe its genes, maybe its luck, but his hair is to die for and remus is lowk jealous bc sirius was able to grow out a pretty fucking cool moustache around their fifth year idk??? and remus was like..... shaving his peach fuzz and sighing sadly...... generally the thought started out a bit horny, i was just thinking about hairy sirius but like ugghdhhhhhhh remus plays w his hair, tugs on it, braids it, licks it, pets, idk fucking grabs whatever there's no plot to that😭

soo i wrote that post with my berlin fic in minddd. i think generally speaking wolfstar are capable of a lot of secrecy even if they don't want to. so i can definitely see realities in which they snap after like half a year and just come out when they realise that they're being too obvious and everyone catching on to it.

BUT. if we're speaking bau mich auseinander wolfstar... there's this extra angsty layer of sirius being lethally scared of coming out (even though deep down he knows james and everyone else wouldnt gaf). in this scenario wolfstar have a secret on-off thing for atleast 2 years. and it only gets out of that secret stage because sirius actively pulls himself together and faces the reality that the love he receives from his friends is unconditional and not tied to his sexuality.

in this scenario james is actually pretty oblivious for quiet a long time bc sirius so actively performs a hyper aggressive masculine persona to distract from his sexuality. it never really clicks in james' mind that sirius coukd actually be queer instead of being majorly bromantic until he accidentally sees it with his eyes and loses a lot of sleep over it.

giving each other smoke shots and sirius really can't help but grope his boyfriend and pull him up and away towards a secluded corner. telling him to be quiet, quieting remus' moans with kisses as he gets him off, right there in the dark. afterwards they realise they've been gone for a suspiciously long time and smoke one of remus' pre-rolled blunts as an alibi. with the smell attached to them, noone will question where they've been.

remus is insecure at his core, sometimes feels like a charity case to sirius and sometimes can't help but voice these thoughts. and sirius is shameless, especially after a drink, and regales remus with tales of all the times he's gotten off to the thought of remus, pulls his phone out and shows him all the pictures of remus he likes to look at. remus is blushing like a virgin and stammering but, secretly, it does help. sirius strokes his face, drags a finger across remus' bumpy nose, over his freckles and acne scars, kisses the corner of his mouth, and for a few delirious moments, remus can believe him.
