i have a question, why is it kidflash and dick grayson ? I thought it was based on young justice so kidflash and tim drake, just a question

In the beginning of the series, it's the first Robin who is Dick Grayson, who in the second season is Nightwing. Tim Drake is in the second season but I can't remember if he was the one who died or the third robin who plays in the second reason. Sorry if that doesn't make sense.

in high school, wally shamelessly eats ramen 24/7, but like– not the real kind, I’m talking 2-minute-microwave stuff– like twenty servings a day and it drives dick NUTS

I mean, if you’re gonna eat as much as that guy does, you’d think you’d at least go for something with a little nutrients!

dick is always making them “real” food on date nights and at one point tries to get iris to talk some sense into him (but iris explains that there is no way she is able to make that much food for one kid, so if top ramen works– hey, she’s not complaining)

wally thinks it’s cute to get dick riled up so it always turns into an argument for them– “you have no taste buds” “hm I’ll taste your buds” “man, that doesn’t even remotely make sense!” “you’re one to talk– ‘aster’? really?” “its the opposite of disaster!! unlike your cooking!” but it’s the hot kind that always ends up with one of them on the couch while the other straddles them with his legs

and then

dick graduates hs and the college life hits him and–

wally does not stop teasing him about it for YEARS because now, whenever he visits dick– that’s all they eat

I get that everyone and grandma have the hc that Dick has nightmares and Wally comforts him. But wouldn’t Wally have nightmares too? He’s being trapped inside the Speedforce for who knows how long. Time does pass and you don’t age. He’s running and running but he’s going nowhere. The Speedforce is coming to him as different people who care and love Wally (Barry, Iris, and Hal, DICK, the team etc.). It keeps telling him to just stop trying, because he’s not going anywhere anytime soon. He’s in his own speedster nightmare. Everyone time someone taps into the Speedforce, he can hear and see them. He’s just yelling for help but no one knows it’s him. He’s isolated and scared, he’s still a kid. I want more dual comforting please. My speed son got lot things he needs to work out ( along with Bart and Barry)

imagine in the yj universe, wally came back really soon after the speedforce incident. like, he was gone just long enough to make dick realize what he had lost, and when he came back, their reunion was the stuff of romantic movies.

then imagine how their completely solid, best-friend-and-lover relationship remained ever-constant and steadfast and actually began to serve as an emotional foundation for loved ones who were dealing with rough shit or emotional trauma.

it would be completely normal for wally and dick to wake up in their apartment’s bedroom to find that jason (or any of the bat or flashlings or other wayward teammates) had come during the night to crash and had snuggled up beside them in bed.

no matter how much stuff they had to get up and do, wally and dick would never let their nighttime visitors get away without snuggling in a big cuddle puddle, eating a big breakfast (or cereal while watching cartoons depending on the gravity of the visitor’s situation as well as who it was up to to prepare breakfast…dick), and a check-in or talk just to make sure they’re ok and that they know dick and wally are here if they need anything.
