you see, bsd is an anime series where we see real life authors and poets as characters who have supernatural abilities named after their works

out of all of the characters we see in this anime, almost all of them have a real life author/poet counterpart and a special ability

and the character who are not literary figures in real life (such as kirako haruno, the secretary of ADA) have no special abilities

it's like, the whole gimmick of the show

and guess who else has real life counterparts that are authors?

higuchi and aya!

so yeah, they most likely have abilities themselves, and i think they will eventually get revealed just like tachihara's

i am so curious abt what they could be mannn

i hope we get some badass reveals

you know guys, i think the main problem with the female characters in bsd is that we really do not get any meaningful and good character dynamics that are based solely on them that we actually focus on for a significant amount of time like the male characters

in the series, there are many duos of male characters that have clear dynamics with each other, and some of these are focused on very often and are highlighted with great detail, giving them spotlight and helping to expand on their character as a whole.

for example we have atsushi & akutagawa, dazai & chuuya, fyodor & nikolai, dazai & fyodor, dazai & odasaku, jouno & tecchou, ranpo & fukuzawa, fukuzawa & mori, fukuzawa & fukuchi etc.

we get nothing with female characters. maybe only koyuou & kyouka, but that's the only one i can think of.

female characters are not shown to have interesting dynamics with each other, and are often expanded on the side of another male character. louisa & francis, yosano & mori/ ranpo, kyouka & atsushi/akutagawa, lucy & atsushi etc.

i know that bsd doesn't have that many female characters already but it's very well possible to work with what we got and yet we have nothingg

idk man it's kind of a bummer

female characters almost never have interesting dynamics with each other

as i said, only female & female dynamic i can really think of is kouyou & kyouka and it has been irrelevant for a good while now

i wish we had more than just one and got to see female characters' dynamic with each other more often

you know guys i always kind of thought jouno's hair was white and he actually sat down and proceeded to dye the tips of it red one by one as if he was unemployed but what if jouno's hair is actually red and he just dyes it white every couple weeks while only leaving the tips out

and tecchou thinks he actually looks better with his hair not dyed because it matches their uniform and jouno just keeps on dying his hair just to spite him lmao
