Top 7 Game-Changing (Must-Know) Social Media Marketing Trends You Need to Know About!
These trends indicate a shift toward more authentic, interactive, and personalized ways of engaging with social media audiences.
What’s Hot in AI, Video, and Community Building! The Hottest Community Engagement Trends Revealed: Is Your Brand Ready for The Future of Social Media in 2025 & Beyond? You Can’t Ignore these trends and they will revolutionize marketing.

Intro: As social media continues to evolve, 2024 is set to bring exciting new trends that will transform how brands engage with their communities and market their products. From AI-powered personalization to immersive experiences in the metaverse, companies must stay ahead of the curve to build strong, engaged online communities. In this post, we'll dive into the top trends in community engagement and social media marketing you can't afford to miss in 2024.
1. AI-Powered Personalization: Brands are increasingly using AI to create personalized experiences, such as customized content, product recommendations, and chatbots for real-time customer interaction. This enhances community engagement by making interactions feel more tailored and relevant. *This also increases the need, search, and appeal of personality & soft skills that AI cannot provide, so if you are a creator, business or service provider this means thinking out of the box to curate your experiences (Ex: playlists for your audience, blogs for your demographic, podcasts or series for information and solutions)*
2. Short-Form Video & Live Streaming: Platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts continue to dominate, with brands using short-form video to tell stories quickly and capture attention. Live streaming also builds real-time interaction and community-building through Q&A sessions, product demos, and behind-the-scenes content. *SHORT FORM is currently high competition, and gives the chance for retention when you already have established monetization or catalogs/portfolios.
Long-form video takes longer for subscribers to catch on & longer to monetize, so competition is inconsistent, not many people use it correctly consistently to see the benefits.*
Some great tools: - for organizing your life --or just your content! Use Notion (An in-depth break-down of Notion can be found here.) - for SEO Keyword searches and more use BlogSEO - for awesome videos, transcriptions and edits check out VidIQ, Faceless.video & Descript - for scheduling your videos and managing a link site & social scheduling are Tailwind, Later and Metricool. (Free and paid options available.)
3. Creator-Led Campaigns: Authenticity is key, and many brands are partnering with content creators and influencers to drive campaigns, particularly those with niche audiences. This creates trust and allows for more organic community engagement. *Endorse companies and products you actually use and like! This breeds authenticity.*
4. Social Commerce: The integration of shopping features on platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest is growing, with social media becoming a direct sales channel. Brands are fostering community around products through reviews, live shopping events, and exclusive social media-only discounts. *Examples to get your foot in the door: selling digitals or printable downloads to your crowd, offering merch or products you create.*
5. Sustainability & Social Responsibility: Consumers are increasingly engaging with brands that take a stand on environmental and social issues. Companies are building communities by promoting sustainability, inclusivity, and transparency in their practices, which resonates with socially-conscious audiences.
6. Interactive Content and AR/VR: Engaging audiences through polls, quizzes, interactive stories, and augmented reality (AR) filters is becoming more popular. Virtual reality (VR) and the metaverse are growing spaces where communities can gather for virtual events, brand experiences, and immersive storytelling.
7. Community-First Platforms: Platforms such as Discord and Reddit, which prioritize community-driven content and discussions, are seeing increased brand use. Companies are focusing on creating and fostering spaces where users can discuss topics, share experiences, and interact with each other. *Random geeky fact: Reddit has climbed from page 4ish in Google search results to the first page over recent years, displaying how crowd sourcing is becoming super impactful in the social space for consumer identity and decisions.*
8. Decentralized Social Networks: Web3 and blockchain-based social media networks are gaining traction, offering users greater control over their data and content, fostering more transparent and secure communities.
Conclusion: The landscape of social media marketing in 2024 will prioritize authenticity, interaction, and personalization. Brands that adapt to these trends by embracing AI, leveraging creator-led campaigns, and fostering meaningful communities will thrive. Stay ahead of the competition by embracing these innovations and deepening connections with your audience. The future of social media is all about engagement—get ready to make an impact!

Why write these blogs of combined research & acquired knowledge?

An updated look at the current figures reflected in recent changes within the U.S. labor market, highlighting both opportunities and challenges for job seekers, particularly those interested in remote work as of August 2024:
Jobs Added to the Market: The U.S. added 114,000 jobs in July 2024, which is a bit lower than the previous monthly average of 215,000 which indicates some slowdown in job creation.
Unemployment Rate: The unemployment rate rose to 4.3% in July 2024. This increase suggests that the job market is softening compared to last year when the rate was 3.5%.
Remote Job Applicants: Interest in remote jobs remains strong, with applications for remote positions up by approximately 40%. This trend reflects ongoing demand for flexible work arrangements, some variations may occur depending on specific data sources.
Remote Jobs Availability - The number of available remote job listings has decreased by 25% as companies continue to reduce remote work opportunities
AI in Recruitment & the Impact of AI on the Workforce:
Automation in hiring: How AI is used to screen resumes, conduct interviews, and make hiring decisions.
Bias and fairness: The potential for AI to perpetuate biases, leading to unfair hiring practices. Explore studies on how AI and automation are changing recruitment processes, with a focus on bias, job displacement, and the skills gap. Analyze how AI may contribute to the exclusion of certain demographics from the hiring process.
Impact on job seekers: Difficulty in getting noticed, especially for those with non-traditional backgrounds, gaps and only remote availability. Discuss the psychological impact of repeated rejections and the fear of being permanently phased out of the job market.
Unemployment vs. Job Availability
Despite many available jobs, unemployment remains high. This phenomenon is often referred to as a "labor market mismatch." Common causes include skills gap, geographic mismatch, and disillusionment with low-paying jobs.
Impact on the economy: Reduced productivity, slower economic growth.
Unemployment and Underemployment Statistics
Expounding on Inadequate Wages & the disillusionment with low-paying jobs:
Living wage vs. minimum wage: Many jobs don't pay enough to cover basic living expenses, leading to a rise in underemployment. Despite inflation and rising costs of living, wages have remained stagnant for decades.
Impact on workers: Increased reliance on government assistance, crime, poverty, and mental health issues. Economic inequality widening the gap between the rich and the poor.
Emotional Impact: stagnant wages have failed to keep up with inflation, leading to economic struggles for millions of workers. educated and skilled individuals are still struggling to find meaningful work, which can lead to a sense of hopelessness and disillusionment. Imagine the frustration and demoralization felt by those who are overqualified for the low-paying jobs they are forced to accept.
The Economy & its Decline = Erosion of the American Dream:
The promise of upward mobility and prosperity is fading for many. Homeownership, retirement, and many other ideas of boomer years are over, or too far to imagine for average everyday workers.
Contrast between the ideal of the American Dream versus the current realities faced by many
The despair and disillusionment of those who feel the promise of prosperity is no longer attainable.
Stats & Data:
Economic Data on Wages & Living Costs:
43% of full-time U.S. workers cannot afford basic necessities like housing, healthcare, and food.
Over the last 40 years, the cost of living has skyrocketed by 67%, while wages have only grown by 10%.
In 2024, the federal minimum wage remains at $7.25, yet the living wage across the U.S. averages $16.54 per hour.
States like California have a minimum wage of $15 per hour, but the living wage is closer to $21.82, leaving millions struggling.
Underemployment & Unemployment:
Despite 114,000 jobs added in July 2024, the unemployment rate rose to 4.3%, while underemployment affects 15% of skilled workers.
Among college graduates, 12% are underemployed, forced into jobs that don't utilize their degrees or pay a livable wage.
Disparities in job markets: Black workers face an unemployment rate of 7.4%, double the national average, while women of color are more likely to face wage gaps and job insecurity.
Shrinking Middle Class & Economic Mobility:
The middle class has shrunk from 61% in the 1970s to 50% today, with wage stagnation playing a huge role.
Economic mobility is declining: Only 20% of individuals born into the bottom quintile of income will rise into the top quintile.
Narrative Elements & Public Perception:
Many workers feel trapped in low-wage jobs, working 50+ hours a week but still unable to make ends meet. The American Dream seems unattainable, with 72% of Americans believing that upward mobility is no longer possible for the average person.
Public opinion polls show that 65% of U.S. citizens believe the government should raise the minimum wage, and 70% think that corporations should invest more in workforce training.
Solutions & Trends:
Wage Increases & AI Regulation: Many experts propose raising the federal minimum wage to $15, while AI regulation laws aim to curb hiring bias.
Job Retraining Programs: Programs like the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act offer retraining opportunities for displaced workers, yet only 30% of participants find relevant jobs post-training.
Corporate & Government Involvement: Companies like Amazon and Google have pledged $1 billion toward retraining initiatives, while the government discusses more robust labor protections for gig workers.
Educational Institutions: Colleges are shifting focus towards future-proof skills in AI, data analysis, and renewable energy, but access to affordable education remains a barrier for many.
If these trends continue unchecked, we may see an even larger portion of the population living in poverty, leading to more economic instability and social unrest. However, with proactive policies, wage increases, and workforce adaptation, we have the potential to create a more equitable society. But action must be taken now to secure a better future for the generations to come.
As we move toward a future shaped by AI and increasing wage disparity, it is crucial that we not only become aware of these issues but also take action. The American Dream is at risk, and the system will only change if individuals, policymakers, and corporations come together to advocate for fairness, livable wages, and accessible job training. Together, we can restore economic mobility, but it requires collective effort. Are you ready to demand change?
As recruiters increasingly rely on AI to sift through candidates, many of us find ourselves phased out of opportunities despite our skills and qualifications. The irony is palpable—technology designed to streamline hiring is, in reality, widening the gap between the job market and those who seek to enter it. To overcome this, we must find ways to outsmart the very systems that are working against us. The same AI that is used to disqualify us can be leveraged to our advantage if we learn to navigate it. However, the larger question remains: Does anyone other than job seekers care that this system is fundamentally flawed? If we are to see real change, the demand to fix this broken system must come from all of us, including policymakers, employers, and society at large.
The future of work depends on it.

Discover the Top 10 Must-Know, Game-Changing, Revolutionary Trends Dominating & Shaking Up Freelance Work Virtual Assistance Services You Can’t Ignore
The Future & What’s Hot: A Snapshot of Freelancing & Virtual Assistance in 2024
Intro: In 2024, the world of virtual assistance and freelance services is undergoing a major transformation. As technology continues to evolve, so do the demands and expectations of remote work. From AI integration to specialized niche roles, freelancers and virtual assistants are at the forefront of this shift. In this article, we’ll explore the top 10 trends shaping the future of freelancing and virtual assistance. These trends not only reflect the growing complexity of modern work but also highlight the new opportunities that savvy freelancers and VAs can leverage to stay competitive in the ever-changing landscape.
Top 10 trends in virtual assistance and freelance services for 2024 reflect evolving technologies, remote work demands, and specialized skill sets.
1. AI Integration in Freelancing and Virtual Assistance: Freelancers and virtual assistants (VAs) are increasingly using AI tools to enhance productivity, from automating repetitive tasks (like data entry, scheduling, or research) to using AI for content creation, SEO optimization, and customer service. VAs who understand how to use AI to augment their services are in high demand.
2. Niche Specialization: General VAs and freelancers are shifting towards more niche roles, offering specialized services like project management, social media management, podcast editing, or e-commerce support. This trend increases the value of their offerings by targeting specific industry needs.
3. Subscription-Based Services: Instead of hourly rates, more freelancers and VAs are offering subscription-based services where clients pay a flat monthly fee for consistent support. This provides predictable income for freelancers and ensures long-term relationships with clients.
4. Focus on Personal Branding: Freelancers and virtual assistants are leveraging personal branding more than ever to stand out in a crowded market. Having a strong online presence through social media, blogs, and content marketing is essential for attracting clients.
5. Global Talent Pool: With remote work becoming the norm, companies are increasingly hiring virtual assistants and freelancers from different parts of the world. This has created a more diverse, competitive landscape where language, cultural knowledge, and time zone flexibility can give freelancers an edge.
6. Upskilling and Continuous Learning: Freelancers and VAs are investing more in upskilling, especially in areas like AI, data analytics, UX/UI, and digital marketing. Clients seek workers who stay ahead of trends and can offer the latest skills and insights.
7. Cybersecurity and Data Privacy: As freelancers handle more sensitive information, there’s growing emphasis on cybersecurity knowledge and ensuring data privacy for clients. Freelancers who can navigate data security and compliance issues are increasingly valuable.
8. Freelance Marketplaces Expansion: Platforms like Upwork, Fiverr, and Toptal are growing, but with a focus on higher-quality, niche talent pools. Many freelancers are moving toward these specialized platforms, where they can command higher rates and find clients more aligned with their expertise.
9. Health and Wellness Support Services: Virtual assistants in the health and wellness sector—offering services like online coaching support, telehealth coordination, and fitness admin work—are expanding due to the growing demand for digital health solutions.
10. Freelancer Collaboration and Teams: Freelancers are increasingly collaborating with other independent contractors to form mini-agencies or teams that offer bundled services (e.g., a VA working with a web designer and social media strategist), allowing them to handle larger projects and compete with traditional agencies.
Conclusion: These trends indicate a shift toward more tech-savvy, specialized, and collaborative freelance and VA services, emphasizing efficiency, adaptability, and expertise. The virtual assistance and freelance services landscape in 2024 is all about adapting to new technologies, upskilling, and finding your niche. Whether it’s mastering AI tools, collaborating with other freelancers, or offering subscription-based services, the trends are clear: freelancers and VAs who stay ahead of the curve will find more opportunities and greater success. By embracing these trends, you can ensure your freelance career or virtual assistant business remains not only relevant but also thriving in the fast-paced, tech-driven world of 2024.

The Future of Recruiting 2024 Report by LinkedIn (Recap)
New playbook for recruiters? - The rise of AI, increase in return to office mandates, economic uncertainty, and a competitive market for talent & skills reshaping the current landscape.

6 predictions from the article:
Generative AI is becoming a game-changer for recruiters, making it easier and faster to write job descriptions, automate tasks, and boost productivity. As more recruiters start using or experimenting with AI, it’s clear that this technology will not only transform the recruiting process but also elevate the role of talent acquisition (TA) within companies. Gregory Karanastasis from Accenture predicts that the nature of work will shift, allowing recruiters to focus on what AI can’t do, like building strong relationships with candidates and delivering great experiences. This shift will make soft skills—like communication, relationship-building, and adaptability—even more crucial. Recruiters who embrace AI tools and stay open to learning will have an edge in this evolving landscape.
Key Stats:
27% of talent professionals surveyed by LinkedIn are using or experimenting with Generative AI.
Top three recruiter skills according to LinkedIn’s survey: communication, relationship-building, and adaptability.
2. Recruiting is shifting towards a skills-based approach, helping companies build a more inclusive and qualified workforce. By focusing on skills rather than just degrees, companies can tap into a wider talent pool and discover candidates they might have previously overlooked. This approach not only identifies the best talent but also promotes diversity by including individuals from historically marginalized groups who may not have a degree. In fact, LinkedIn data shows that emphasizing skills can expand talent pools by up to 10 times. With 80% of recruiters committed to fostering diversity, skills-based hiring is gaining momentum, as evidenced by a 36% increase in job listings that omit degree requirements between 2019 and 2022. Companies like Accenture are leading the way by focusing on upskilling and collaboration between talent acquisition and learning & development to fill critical skills gaps and keep pace with AI advancements.
Key Stats:
Emphasizing skills in hiring can increase talent pools by 10x.
80% of surveyed recruiting professionals say their organizations are committed to creating a more diverse workforce.
Job listings on LinkedIn that omit degree requirements increased by 36% from 2019 to 2022.
Accenture aims to double its AI workforce to 80,000 through a mix of hiring, acquisitions, and training.
3. Quality of hire is becoming the top priority in recruiting as employers remain cautious about making every hire count, especially with hiring still in decline globally. Companies are now more focused on ensuring that new employees not only meet job performance goals but also fit well within the team, align with company values, and contribute to overall productivity. Retention is also a key indicator of hiring quality, although it’s influenced by multiple factors. In the past, talent acquisition (TA) focused on metrics like time-to-fill and acceptance rates, but now leadership is more interested in the quality of hires and how it’s measured. The definition of a "quality hire" is also evolving, with a growing emphasis on soft skills—like communication, leadership, and analytical skills—as well as hiring individuals whose values align with the company’s mission. This approach helps ensure that employees can effectively empathize with customers, grow through feedback, and navigate change.
Key Points:
Companies are prioritizing quality of hire, focusing on job performance, team fit, culture alignment, productivity, and retention.
The definition of a quality hire is shifting, with six out of LinkedIn’s top ten most sought-after skills being soft skills.
Employers are increasingly seeking individuals whose values align with the company’s principles and mission.
4. Agility is becoming essential for recruiting teams as they strive to help organizations navigate the ups and downs of the labor market and adapt quickly to changing needs. Successful recruiters will need to be flexible, able to shift from one industry to another, and ready to apply their skills across different areas of the business. Building an agile recruiting team means having the ability to quickly redirect efforts and investing in cross-functional training to enhance recruiters' skills. Glen Goodman of ChenMed emphasizes the importance of creating a team that can easily pivot and stay adaptable in an ever-changing environment.
Key Points:
Agility is crucial for recruiting teams to anticipate labor market changes and adapt quickly.
Recruiters need to be flexible and able to shift between industries and business areas.
Investing in cross-functional training is key to building an agile recruiting team.
5. Recruiting teams are increasingly advocating for flexible work policies as employers push for a return to the office. However, rigid in-office requirements are making it more challenging for companies to attract top talent. Recruiters at companies with strict in-office policies are experiencing reduced talent pools, fewer applicants, and tougher competition. In contrast, organizations that offer flexibility in work location are seeing positive impacts, including larger talent pools, more job applicants, and an enhanced employer brand. Flexible work has become a significant value proposition, especially for Gen Z, with its importance growing by 10% among all job seekers and 14% among Gen Z from 2021 to 2023. Companies with flexible work policies have a notable hiring advantage—they’re 16% more likely to have candidates respond to their messages and 29% more likely to receive job applications. Despite fewer fully remote roles being available, interest in remote work remains strong. Top talent values innovation and meaningful work but no longer wants to sacrifice flexibility, family time, and personal aspirations. Talent Acquisition (TA) teams must emphasize to business leaders how the talent pool narrows when flexibility isn’t considered, building goodwill for companies that maintain consistent flex policies.
Key Points:
Rigid in-office policies are shrinking talent pools and making it harder to hire top talent.
Flexible work policies lead to larger talent pools, more job applicants, and better employer branding.
Importance of flexible work has increased, especially among Gen Z, with a 14% rise from 2021 to 2023.
Companies with flex work policies have a hiring advantage, with higher response rates and more applications.
Interest in remote work remains high despite fewer remote roles being available.
Top talent seeks flexibility alongside meaningful work and personal fulfillment.
6. Attracting and retaining Gen Z talent is going to require a fresh approach from recruiters. With Gen Z expected to make up more than a quarter of the global workforce by 2025, Talent Acquisition (TA) professionals recognize that engaging this new generation will be one of their biggest challenges. Gen Z, shaped by events like the global pandemic, social justice movements, and climate concerns, is deeply committed to working for companies that align with their values. They won’t compromise their principles for a paycheck. While salary, work-life balance, and flexibility are important to them, professional development is crucial. Gen Z is 36% more likely than other generations to prioritize advancement opportunities and 34% more likely to seek out skill development. If companies aren’t investing in their growth, they’ll find it hard to retain this generation, as Gen Z places their own career development above long-term loyalty to any organization.
Key Points:
Gen Z will make up over a quarter of the global workforce by 2025.
Attracting and retaining Gen Z is a top challenge for recruiters.
Gen Z values working for companies that align with their principles and won’t compromise on their values.
Professional development is critical for Gen Z, who are 36% more likely to prioritize advancement opportunities and 34% more likely to seek skill development.
Companies that don’t invest in Gen Z’s growth risk losing them, as they prioritize career development over long-term company loyalty.
Conclusion:
Recruiters will need a growth mindset, a willingness to learn new skills, and the ability to harness new technologies.
As for job seekers:
Embrace Lifelong Learning: Continuously update your skills, especially in technology, to stay competitive in the evolving job market.
Showcase Soft Skills: Highlight your communication, adaptability, and relationship-building abilities, as these are increasingly valued by employers.
Align with Company Values: Seek out employers whose values match your own, particularly if you’re part of Gen Z. This alignment is crucial for job satisfaction and retention.
Focus on Skill Development: Prioritize opportunities that offer professional growth and skill development, as employers are moving towards skills-based hiring.
Adapt to Flexible Work Models: Be open to remote and flexible work arrangements, as companies that offer these options have a competitive edge in hiring.
Leverage Agility: Demonstrate your ability to pivot and apply your skills across different industries and roles, showcasing your versatility and resilience.

Linked In
is a marketing based platform searching for an "active community of talent" so I'm going to beef up my profile in hopes of walking into my dream career. Follow me on LinkedIn if you want to connect :)
LinkedIn is a marketing based platform - its functions are designed to drive engagement, cultivate a following, build awareness, expand reach, grow, redefine or define target audience and streamline conversions. (Some of these are common business goals) *Other MBP - TT & IG.*
"Creator Economy" VS "Influencer Marketing"
Using this profile as a UGC/Brand Portfolio to brand yourself: Why are you making content? What is your purpose and end goal for creating? Sell yourself elegantly.
Influencers on LinkedIn are invite only from the LinkedIn editorial team (if this is your goal, make sure you have some of these contacts in your connections so they are seeing your content as you grow.)
"39% of LinkedIn Users never post or share content."
This is a great place to:
-share sponsored posts or any content within which you have been compensated to share with your audience.
-acquiring potential clients & customers for freelance, contract, consulting, coaching, affiliate, or sponsorship (your listed skills, experience and industries will help your discover search and connect you with possible candidates) INTERESTS & WORK HISTORY ARE PRIORITIZED OVER CONNECTION PROXIMITY ON THIS PLATFORM
SERVICES MODE:
You can add up to 10 services you provide as a freelancer, in turn allowing you to be listed as a "similar profile" to other connections or users. Use this to sell your work! Advertise your most relevant and valuable skills for the position you want or your dream client.
CREATOR MODE & TOOLS:
When you switch your account to "Creator Mode" with LinkedIn, you are eligible for discovery. (This means you are suggested as a follow to those who follow or connect to similar profiles & connections.)
You are able to add a 30sec profile video, add a link to your intro section & add custom buttons. (Great tool for PROMO of goods & services.)
'Follow' button is an automatic update, but once you get an increase in follows (over 500), you have the option to switch to / or add the 'Connect' button. This requires users to request to connect with you and shows less on feed. (Important for your networking knowledge also*)
You also have access to the following features once you abided by the Community Policy Guidelines, account in good standing, account over 30 days old, have 150+ followers & recently shared any type of original content:
-Audio Events (i.e: live broadcasts & podcasts)
-Sending out your own newsletter to connections & a dedicated group of subscribers (huge game changer for businesses with customers on the platform - cuts out some email marketing!)
-Articles - allows you to be a published author, a form of personal blog, technically can be used for professional or research, informative because of the platform & algorithm tendencies. Best reach on posts due to insights, perspective and expertise.
-Documents & Short Form Posts (these can be left to interpretation based on your goals for the platform)
-LinkedIn Live
PLAN OF ACTION:
Using the information above (& tips below) conduct an initial page audit top to bottom, editing your headline, URL, summary, and updating any changes to schooling or resume. Draft a 30 day plan and strategy as to how you plan to use the platform in conjunction with any sales funnels. (Consider the recommended 1-3 posts per day during the peak hours)
Use an auto scheduler if needed to CONSISTENTLY create POLISHED, SHORT-FORM CONTENT, IMGS, (OR LINKS) & interact, this will get you featured and increase activity based on hashtags, connections and engagement. Some posts that do well on this platform include but not limited to faceless content, resources, opportunities to rally for a cause, updates, wins/losses, interesting data and insights as you dive into projects. *AT LEAST 3 HOURS BETWEEN POSTS*
Follow any brands, companies or creators you would like to work with. Study their engagement, CTA, hooks, niche, etc. *DO NOT COPY* Personalize any connection requests - there is a character limit - but a brief honest message on what brought you to their page or what you hope to learn from interacting with their connections and posts usually does the trick. (Don't be weird, keep in mind these are possible opportunities.) Also scan their website and note any common keywords.
Daily or weekly, set aside 15minutes-1hour to read articles, look for jobs or do any professional/industry research. Search and keep an eye out for mentions or profiles similar to business you want to be in, follow those users and similar profiles (just in case they do not accept your request other mutual connections may allow you to see their posts & activity.) Also review these users' posts, job histories and any connections, you can also look for job openings with any companies mentioned by clicking their pages.
AUDIT MONTHLY - make sure you are only displaying the most polished, short form, image, texts, links or UGC content. (Great place to play with A/B Testing) Review your analytics of posts and adjust accordingly!
Tips & More Specific Details:
Best times to post as of 4/2024:
-Mon., Fri. & Sun. 8-2p
-Tues., Wed., Thurs. & Sat. 7-3p
You and other users can filter your feed by 'Top Updates' or 'Chronological' order *keep this in mind if timing is important for your posts.
MAKE YOUR PROFILE STANDOUT: You can use AI prompts to improve your headers & summaries. Pair this with hooks, calls to action, SEO Keywords, and auto-complete results to improve your About, Headline, Experience, URL and each section. *If your profile is private, hashtags and SEO information does not apply to your profile* Add a cover banner or virtual business card to your profile, and a follow footer (when it applies.)
Follow and view posts and resources on the LinkedIn Guide To Creating page for an idea of what this platform's algorithm likes & considers "quality content." (i.e: LinkedIn favors employee advocacy, so employee pictures, recognition and benefits are big for businesses of all sizes.) No controversial, vulgar or inappropriate posts i.e. religion, politics, etc. Some other pages that can help spark your creativity are the LinkedIn Daily Rundown & LinkedInNews.
External links that lead away from LinkedIn are deprioritized in the feed (visibility reduced by 90%) *FIND A WAY TO MAKE IT DIRECT! = GOAL BUILD A PORTFOLIO ON THE PLATFORM* Embed any long form visual display presentations or content.
Things this platform considers "spammy" include but not limited too many hooks, images, emojis or polls, chain mail, fake/excessive/irrelevant/repetitive questions.
The algorithm uses topics and keywords to highlight engaging & relevant conversations so use them any chance you get! More engagement = SPREAD (prioritize reach & shares!) Content on this platform is prioritized based on interaction. You can also use keyword finders (Like Google Keyword Planner) in conjunction with the search engine on LinkedIn to discover relevant mentions & hashtags (Max of 3 depending on length of post.) *For each hashtag, click to see how many people are following these - this will give you an idea of the current clicks, interaction, language, and interest in each topic! *A MAX OF 5 BRANDS/USERS PER POST*
CONSISTENTLY POSTING = a few posts per week then add more as engagement increases
Highlights & story views do not count (must be seen from video/page)
The most popular hashtags on the platform as of APR 2024 are tagged below, hope this helps :) *UPDATED THROUGH AUG 2024
