I'm so used to the Lucario and Gallade in Galar trying to kill you, but apparently, the ones in Paldea are a lot less aggressive. Pretty neat. My theory is that it's because the wild area and towns are a lot more connected than they are in Galar, so they're just used to seeing humans.

He stood impatiently outside the MRN Medic's office, zipped up in a brown leather blazer. Notably, he'd left his helmet at home. Looks like the doctor had finally reached a trusted enough status in Jane's mental hierarchy that he could bear to make eye contact.

The man rocked on his heels, looking over his shoulder. MRN was a subsidiary of RED, but he still felt as if someone could come around the corner and nail him to the wall with a knife if he wasn't careful.

And he'd heard too many stories about how unpredictable Humboldt's team could be.

[ Hearing Jane's voice was at least a pleasant surprise; they hadn't talked in some time, so he wasn't hesitant to answer the door to his office. Maybe he was hoping to find a distraction from the actual hell he experienced these past few weeks. ]

[ It was clear the doctor had been put through the wringer. He looked dull and sullen compared to the frantic curiosity and welcoming nature he'd normally have. Was that new grey hair? Either way, he still tried to muster that same energy, if nothing else, to save his friend from worrying too much. ]

Ladies and Gentlemen: HER!

My first ever real life encounter with a Hoary Bat! They are the largest species of bat in Illinois. SHE IS ONLY A JUVENILE!!!!!!!!!

She was around 23 grams weight and her wing span was around 48mm! She was very vocal as well her hisses were very loud!

I've studied their calls and I've been hoping to see one in real life. She's so pretty and I'm so proud of my team 💗

Look at her cute ears and that gorgeous fur!

Here's our reactions:

Professor: *from a distance* HEY YALL WE CAUGHT A HOARY BAT

Me: *running to the net* NO WAY. YOU'RE JOKING!?!?!

Professor: Can't you hear the hissing?

I stopped. And heard the hissing and knew at that moment it was a Hoary!

BSD screentime field research

Hi hi hi BSD fans of Tumblr!!!

I've decided I have no life and would like to do some fun research on... character screentime in bungo. And you all are gonna help :) Essentially what we're figuring out is: how many episodes does [character] appear. *not screentime as in minutes they show up, just episode count.

Rules:

It can be any amount of screentime, but they must actively be there, no flashbacks (unless its the dedicated backstory arcs such as Dazai's or Ranpo's)

The character must have at least 3 episodes or I'm not bothering writing it down lmao.

Feel free to submit Wan screentime, but you must specify you're listing the number of Wan episodes and it won't be counted in the main series episode count (it will be listed separately)

No OVAs, Dead Apple, Wan (read above rule), etc, as it will mess with my count.
