Happy summer solstice, Northern Hemisphere!
The summer solstice – the beginning of astronomical summer – falls on June 20, 2025 (June 21 UTC). It’s the longest day of the year and marks the change of seasons. For our friends in the Southern Hemisphere, it’s the shortest day of the year and the beginning of winter.
Earth orbits at an angle, so half the year, the Northern Hemisphere is tilted toward the Sun — this is summer in the Northern Hemisphere, and winter in the Southern Hemisphere. The other half of the year, the Northern Hemisphere is tilted away from the Sun, creating winter in the north and summer in the south. Solstices happen twice per year, at the points in Earth’s orbit where this tilt is most pronounced.
How do you plan on spending the longest (or shortest) day of the year? 😎

Juno through the Houses: Your Ideal Partner & Where You Might Meet Them ☄️
While Venus shows what you want in romance (pleasure, attraction), Juno shows what you need in a long-term commitment.
It’s like Juno says: “Okay, you can flirt with X and be attracted to Y… but you’re gonna marry Z.”
Tumblr media
⚵ Juno in the 1st House or in Aries:
You’re drawn to people who are determined, bold, and willing to fight for the relationship. The hero/heroine archetype. Someone confident, with strong opinions, who takes initiative and stands up for what they believe in. This placement can also make you appear more attractive to others. You’ll naturally gravitate towards people whose identity reflects your own. Relationships often become a priority here, and honestly… you like a bit of a challenge. Likely to meet them while out and about, at events, or even doing sports.
⚵ Juno in the 2nd House or in Taurus:
You’ll look for someone who knows how to seduce you the right way. Taurus energy loves to feel, so you’re drawn to people who pamper you, offer emotional and financial stability, and who feel safe and grounded. You appreciate traditional gestures like proposals, rings, romantic dinners... someone who values beauty and loyalty. You're into people with good taste who enjoy the finer, comfier things in life. Fickle people? Nope, not your thing. You might meet them at a friend’s house, during social events, shopping, or even in luxurious places.
⚵ Juno in the 3rd House or in Gemini:
You want someone who gets you, gives you attention, and keeps the conversation alive. Someone witty, curious, with good humor, and a playful vibe. Random crushes? Totally possible here. You’re into people who can teach you things, and who won’t cling too much. Smart, fun, and free-spirited is your type. Skillful people also catch your eye. Likely to meet them online, on your way back home, in public transportation, or even through your siblings.
⚵ Juno in the 4th House or in Cancer:
You crave nurturing, cozy relationships. That childhood comfort feeling. Someone who truly cares about you. Deep down, you want someone with maternal vibes, who’ll cook for you, build a home, and make you feel safe. You can be territorial too, super attached to your partner. Might meet them through family, at weddings, birthdays, or other family gatherings.
⚵ Juno in the 5th House or in Leo:
You’re into people with strong presence. Someone noble, who knows their worth. You want to be admired, praised, and recognized. You love bold people, adventurous types, and good-looking partners who aren’t afraid of the spotlight. Relationships here often bring you attention or fame in some way. Could even marry someone popular or known. Likely to meet them at events, concerts, kids’ parties, entertainment venues, or while on vacation.
⚵ Juno in the 6th House or in Virgo:
You’ll be drawn to helpful, organized people. Someone who understands structure, details, and who shows love through actions and service. You probably like simple, low-key partners who don’t show off. But... if Juno’s badly aspected, you could become super picky or overly critical. Could meet them at restaurants, clothing stores, through an aunt or uncle, doing volunteer work, on business trips, or even in a neighbor’s house. Courses on nutrition or health-related things could also be a meeting point.
⚵ Juno in the 7th House or in Libra:
Secretly, you want someone charming, social, and someone who makes you proud. You're drawn to graceful, elegant people who help you see life from a more balanced, rational perspective. You’re into seductive types with refinement. Could meet your person during long trips with friends, through counselors, therapists, lawyers, or at competitive events. Partnerships will always play a big role in how you meet them.
⚵ Juno in the 8th House or in Scorpio:
You want intensity. Even if the rest of your chart screams fire and fun, here… when it comes to love and marriage, you want privacy and depth. Mysterious people attract you. You like people who manage resources well. Sexual chemistry and emotional connection matter a LOT here. You might bond over taboo topics, shared secrets, or even fetishes. Trust and vulnerability are huge themes. Honestly… a little bit of power play or emotional games wouldn’t surprise me here. Marriage will likely transform you on a soul level. You could meet them at therapy, spiritual retreats, funerals, or through your siblings/parents.
⚵ Juno in the 9th House or in Sagittarius:
You’ll probably fall for someone cultured or foreign. Could be someone with a different religion or belief system. Big chance of traveling a lot with them. You’re drawn to generous, gift-giving people with an adventurous spirit. If Juno is challenged here, you could end up with someone who wants all the freedom but gives none. Guru-types, teachers, or spiritually elevated people might become your partner. Could meet them during long trips, in study groups, at college, libraries, or festivals.
⚵ Juno in the 10th House or in Capricorn:
You want someone established. Someone successful, patient, mature, and reliable. A partner who’s already built something in life. If Juno’s here, you’ll admire people with careers and goals. You might appear cold to your partner at times, but deep down… you just want security and stability in marriage. Could meet them through older people, bosses, at work, or through family friends.
⚵ Juno in the 11th House or in Aquarius:
You’re attracted to unique people. Alternative relationships? Open, modern, or with unusual dynamics? Totally possible here. You're into individuals who think big, care about the collective, and have a logical, rational mindset. If Juno’s in Aquarius, deep conversations and mental stimulation will matter. Friendship and freedom are key. Traditions? Not so much. You could meet them while traveling, through friends, or during group events or social causes.
⚵ Juno in the 12th House or in Pisces:
Karmic relationships alert 🚨. You might attract compassionate, dreamy, mysterious partners. Sensitive people, maybe artistic types. There’s a tendency for secret relationships or partners who don’t want to go public. Or… you might marry someone from another country or culture. You could meet them behind the scenes, in private settings, spiritual places, hospitals, prisons, or while doing charity work.

𓂀 "LIBRA RISINGS NEED AN S/O" .
THIS IS A REPOST FROM MY OLD ACCOUNT.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
i don't know who said this but they definitely weren't a libra rising cause...
i think everyone is forgetting that libra risings have an aries descendant and a capricorn ic. they do not NEED an s/o at all. libra risings were simply not brought up that way (capricorn ic)
BUT i understand the confusion, since it doesn't match with their image:
capricorn ic squares their libra ascendant and opposes their cancer midheaven.
aries descendant squares their cancer midheaven and opposes their libra ascendant.
they see the world through other people and build themselves and their perception of the world through their relationships with people, but they don't need an s/o.
mind you, these relationships could be absolutely anything. they don't have to be romantic.
also libra ascendants very much hold their own in relationships (aries descendant). when looking at rising signs, take the ic and descendant into account. it may not match what you see them as (squares and oppositions) but it's still important and prominent (they are angles for a reason).

The first time I came across this quote was back in 2013, when Jupiter was last in Cancer. Today, Jupiter enters Cancer again after 12 years.
With everything that has unfolded in my life, my healing journey, the woman I’ve become, this feels like such a full circle moment. I’ll always be learning, growing, becoming better versions of myself, because I’ve truly come to believe that I am my biggest project. Always a work in progress. Difference now is that I do it with so much more love and grace for myself.
“And still, after all this time, the sun never says to the earth, ‘You owe me.’ Look what happens with a love like that—it lights the whole sky.”

The meaning of chart patterns in astrology
Tumblr media
Seesaw pattern: it feels like these natives are constantly being pulled in two different directions in their lives, reflected by the planets situated on the opposing ends of the astrological wheel, forming two clusters. This may lead to feeling disoriented and/or maybe attracting situations where the natives’ real values are being called into question.
Their life is characterised by duality, sometimes expressing the energies of one planetary cluster, and other times behaving unexpectedly or in a contradictory fashion (when the energy of the other cluster is being expressed).
You may also find that you identify more with one “end” of the seesaw and have the tendency to deny/reject the other part of yourself that you find less desirable.
Relationships likely mean a great deal to you and it’s only in relationships that you feel truly complete and balanced. You may be unconsciously seeking the very same energy in other people that you deny within yourself.
It’s important: to accept that there are contradictory sides to your personality and integrate them as best as you can. Aim to achieve balance. Some people may find it weird. But this is what it means to be you. And if you learn how to properly utilise your gifts, you’ll be able to accomplish absolutely extraordinary things! Look at Robert Downey Jr. and Frank Sinatra’s charts for inspiration🫶
Bowl pattern: these people have solid values, are stable and probably have a good grasp of their weaknesses. There may be a reluctance to get out of their comfort zone and they may always feel like “something” is missing from their life (the other half of the wheel). They will be looking for that special half that makes them feel complete.
They aren’t dual or contradictory like the see-saw or splay people, but rather constant and they have specific talents and attributes that are reflected in the houses their planets fall into and.
They may not be as flexible or open to change as other patterns. They are focused, resilient and self-contained typically. There may be a need to develop certain qualities that they miss.
Depending on which side of the wheel is occupied, it manifests differently in the native’s life. If the upper half is occupied: there is more focus on external activities: social gatherings, public image etc. If the lower half of the wheel is occupied, the emphasis will be on the family, home, closer relationships, the self. If the planets fall on the right side of the wheel, the person will be easier to influence, and personal relationships will be quintessential to the native’s well-being. And finally if the planets are all on the right side of the wheel, the person will be enterprising, self-motivated and with a strong direction in their life.
Special attention should be given to the leading planet, that is to say the first one that is situated counterclockwise starting from the empty space.
Dominik Cruz and Ella Fitzgerald had this chart pattern.
Locomotive pattern: these people are independent and self-starters. They have a thinking of their own and often may feel misunderstood. Their ideas are ahead of their time usually. They can be motivational and quite stubborn. They are ambitious and steadfast people who have quite a few interests. Their focus is not as narrow as with bundle type. They are energetic people who want to improve the world around them and may feel a constant sense of “emptiness”, as though something is missing in their life.
It’s important to look at the first planet that rises clockwise starting from the empty space. It will significantly influence the native’s life.
George Washington and Isaac Newton had this chart pattern.
Bundle pattern: the native’s focus is oriented in limited, very specific areas of their life, in detriment to other important areas. They are very focused and driven people who usually become proeficient, real masters in whatever activity/job they have chosen for themselves.
There could be a tendency to be narrow-minded, rigid or unusually ignorant in areas outside of their interest range with this pattern however. Obsessive thoughts and behaviours are also possible. It’s an excellent chart type for a professional athlete, politician or car mechanic for example, depending on the houses and signs.
These people are passionate, unique, strongly hold onto their identities and are relentless when pursuing their chosen goal. They might feel like “something” is missing in their life and they need someone who teaches them to think outside the box and help them develop their weaker energies in their chart.
Harrison Ford and Sylvester Stallone had this chart pattern.
Splay pattern: these people are incredibly talented and have lots of potential. Their interests are in 3-4 areas and they may sometimes find it difficult to concentrate as their attention is quite divided. They are individualistic, inquisitive and open-minded people who have the potential to achieve great things if they “pull themselves together”. Their talents could be unrelated to one another and they may fight it hard to integrate their strengths into something concrete/tangible.
Some call this chart pattern the tripod.
These natives definitely march to the rhythm of their own drums. They are adaptable people who make interesting conversation partners.
They don’t like strict schedules or being atunci into routine for too long.
The aim should be on correctly distributing their focus so that they properly develop their talents and live up to their potential.
Franklin Roosevelt and Sandra Bullock had/have this chart pattern.
Splash pattern: these people’s talents are incredibly diverse. They are open-minded, inquisitive, curious people. They enjoy exploring different ideas, activities. The love new things and probably have lots of hobbies and interests. Choosing one career option is probably very difficult for them. They don’t like to focus on one single activity for too long, contrary to bundle pattern people. Their attention is very divided. They can be forgetful at times.
They likely have mercurial qualities and can easily adapt to almost any situation. They make very flexible people.
They can be quite confused especially during their youth or feel like they can’t find their direction in life. There is a desire for self-reflection and independence inherent within this placement. Many famous thinkers such as Carl Jung and Firjof Capra had this chart pattern.
They may have trouble focusing or be scattered due to which they never develop any of their talents deeply and fully. Their outlook on life is broad and brain-oriented.
Bucket pattern: these people are ambitious, enterprising, passionate, self-contained; they pursue their goals in a realistic fashion. It’s important to look at the planet that plays the role of the handle as it will play an important role in the natives’s life (the sign and house, major aspects).
They want to be recognised for their talents and be part of society in some way; they likely focus their attention in a single direction when trying to achieve their goals. The “handle” signifies the area of their life where they invest most of their energy or where they seek satisfaction.
They could be predisposed to conflict or do their best to avoid it.
Their challenge is learning to manage the energy of the “handle.”
Like with the bowl pattern they could at times feel like something is missing in their life.
Will Smith and Prince Charles have this chart pattern.

Pluto synastry.
This is what happens when you’ve done your shadow work, and others haven’t.
When you’ve done deep inner work — not just intellectually, but emotionally, spiritually, somatically — it sharpens your discernment and strengthens your intuition. You begin to read not only what people say, but what they don’t.
It’s the gift of having faced yourself so deeply, you can’t help but see what others are still running from.
You feel what lives beneath their words. You sense the avoidance, the inner conflict, the fear, the false self — even when they try to hide it.
It’s not judgment.
It’s clarity.

A spell cast by my Pluto rising.
An illusion awakened by my Moon and Neptune.
Sealed with the burning imprint of my Leo stellium.
Veiled in the ethereal elegance of Venus.
—Nora Writes
I’m a dream you can’t relive.
An illusion, the moment you realize it, I’ll vanish.
An enigma, so elusive it makes you question reality.
Yet somehow you’ll keep searching for me in every shadow.

There is a 2 DAY SALE on my shop for the end of January. Limited stock available. 🎀 Book a reading with me! Clairvoyance andAstrological Indicators
Clairvoyance, also known as "clear seeing," refers to the ability to see visions, whether with the physical eyes or through inner sight. Individuals with clairvoyant abilities may perceive pictures in their minds or observe symbols, colors, places, and even auras that others might not notice. This sensitivity often aligns with a deep connection to aesthetics and environments, making clairvoyants vivid learners attuned to subtle details.
Astrology suggests that some planetary placements and alignments may influence or enhance clairvoyant abilities. Below are key astrological factors associated with clairvoyance:
Mercury-Neptune Aspects: Includes trine, sextile, conjunction, quintile, bi-quintile, or opposition.
Mercury in Water Signs: A strongly intuitive placement.
Neptune in Houses: Specifically the 1st, 3rd, or 12th houses.
Neptune's Aspects: Influence when in aspect to the Sun, Moon, or Mercury in the third house.
Planetary Placements in the 8th or 12th Houses: Especially Mercury's presence.
Rising Signs of Sagittarius, Pisces, or Scorpio: Known for heightened sensitivity and intuition.
Moon in the Third House: Particularly when in aspect with outer planets.
Jupiter in Water Signs: (Pisces, Cancer, or Scorpio), especially when in aspect to planets in the 3rd house.
South Node in the 8th or 12th Houses: Connections to past life intuition.
Heavy 8th/12th House Placements: Often associated with spiritual depth.
Moon in Libra or Taurus: When in aspect to Neptune.
Libra Rising: Aesthetic-driven intuition and clear seeing.
Ruler of the 1st House: In aspect to Neptune, Uranus, or Pluto.
These placements reflect the alignment of intuition, imagination, and spiritual connection. Individuals with these characteristics in their natal charts may find themselves naturally drawn to clairvoyant practices or develop an enhanced ability to perceive the unseen.
Claircognizance and Its Astrological Indicators
Claircognizance, or "clear knowing," is the intuitive understanding of people, places, or things without prior information. It manifests as sudden bursts of knowledge, insights, or revelations as if the understanding was already embedded within the mind. In astrology, several placements and aspects are believed to enhance this ability.
Astrological Indicators of Claircognizance:
Pluto in the 1st House: Intensity and depth in perception.
Uranus in the 1st House: An intuitive and forward-thinking mind.
Uranus in Aspect to Mercury: Sudden insights and mental clarity.
Uranus Aspects to Sun, Moon, or Mercury: Stronger when originating from the 12th or 8th houses.
Mercury in Aspect to Pluto: Intuitive understanding of the unseen or hidden things.
Jupiter in the 3rd House (Well-Aspected): Expansive knowledge and wisdom.
Mercury in Aspect to Neptune: Intuitive and visionary communication.
Sagittarius-related placements: Moon, Sun, Rising, or Mercury in Sagittarius, especially if enhanced by aspects to outer planets, increase intuition.
Moon-Jupiter Aspects: Strengthened by outer planet influences, promoting intuitive comprehension.
South Node in the 9th House: In air, fire, or water signs, suggesting spiritual wisdom from past lives.
Heavy 9th or 11th House: Indicating a connection to higher understanding and visionary thinking.
The indicators above suggest a connection to deep, subconscious knowing and the ability to access information spiritually or energetically.
Note: Other aspects may also enhance psychic abilities, but these represent the most prominent due to the available sources.
Clairaudience, Automatic Writing, and Channeling in Astrology
Clairaudience is the ability to hear disembodied voices or sounds, either within the mind or externally in the environment. It may manifest as tingling or buzzing sensations in the ear, hearing words or conversations in the mind, or receiving guidance through songs, messages, or written words. Automatic writing and channeling often involve receiving and recording this guidance directly, as if it flows through the individual.
Astrological placements and alignments can highlight tendencies towards these abilities.
Astrological Indicators of Clairaudience and Channeling:
Mercury in Pisces or Aquarius: A blend of imaginative and visionary communication abilities.
Moon in the 3rd, 8th, or 12th Houses: Emotional intuition connected to communication and higher realms.
Uranus in the 3rd House: Unconventional and sudden insights related to communication.
Neptune in the 3rd House: Spiritual or mystical communication abilities, often subtle but profound.
Mercury-Uranus Aspects: Sparks of insightful, unconventional thought.
Mercury-Neptune Aspects: Imaginative and intuitive communication.
Mercury-Pluto Aspects: Deep, transformative insights communicated with intensity.
Mercury in Aquarius: Innovative and unique mental processes conducive to channeling.
Gemini Rising: Paired with Mercury in water signs or aspects to outer planets, enhancing intuitive communication.
Gemini or Aquarius Moon: Particularly when in aspect to Neptune or Pluto.
South Node in the 3rd or 9th Houses: Especially in water signs, suggesting a past-life connection to communication with higher realms.
Air Moon in Water Houses: Linking intellectual processing (air) with emotional depth (water).
Heavy 3rd or 9th House Influence: Frequent indicators of strong communication abilities, spiritual guidance, or intellectual connection to higher realms.
Experiencing Clairaudience:
The voice may feel as though it comes slightly above or from the center of the mind, while messages often appear serendipitously—through music, books, or conversations that resonate deeply with current circumstances.
Clairsentience and Its Astrological Indicators
Clairsentience, or "clear feeling," is the ability to receive intuitive information through emotional or physical sensations. Those with this gift are highly sensitive to the energies of people and environments, often experiencing intuitive feelings within the body or on the skin. Individuals with clairsentience may feel discomfort in crowded places or near electrical equipment due to their heightened sensitivity.
Astrological placements that suggest heightened clairsentience include the following:
Astrological Indicators of Clairsentience:
Water Rising Signs: (Cancer, Scorpio, or Pisces) enhance emotional and energetic sensitivity.
Neptune in the 1st House: A strong empathic and intuitive placement.
Moon in the 1st House: Deep emotional receptivity combined with intuition.
Fire Moon: (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius) Amplifies passion and gut-level instincts.
Fire Mars: (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius) Activates bold instinctive responses.
Mars in Aspect to Uranus: Heightens sensitivity to sudden energetic shifts.
Sun in the 4th, 8th, or 12th Houses: Links identity to emotional or spiritual depths.
Sun in Water Signs: (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces) Emotional intelligence and intuition.
Sun Aspects to Neptune: Spiritual connection and intuitive feeling.
Sun Aspects to Pluto: Intense perceptiveness and emotional depth.
Moon Aspects to Pluto: Amplifies emotional insight and psychic receptivity.
Cancer Rising: Naturally nurturing and sensitive.
Taurus Sun/Moon/Rising/Mars: Particularly grounded in physical energy sensations.
Libra Moon: (In Aspect to Neptune/Pluto) Enhances the ability to intuit psychic information from others.
South Node in the 4th or 12th Houses: Suggests past life experiences related to emotional or psychic awareness.
Heavy 2nd, 4th, or 8th House Influence: Indicates deep emotional, physical, or energetic processing.
1st House Ruler in Aspect to Neptune or the Moon: Connects personal identity to emotional or intuitive receptiveness.
Experiences of Clairsentience:
People with these traits often "feel" the emotions of others or detect the energy of a space. They may experience sudden hunches or sensations that provide clear, intuitive guidance, making them natural empaths and energy readers.

Today marks one year since I stopped smoking weed, and honestly, I'm so proud of myself. This milestone means a lot to me because it confirms what I always believed deep down—I wasn't addicted. It was an unhealthy habit, something I leaned on to get through some really tough times.
I started in 2019, during a period when I was facing immense challenges. Loss, grief, broken dreams, disappointment, stress, physical pain, and episodes of depression felt overwhelming. Gradually, I began smoking every night after dinner and later on before bed, too. I'd often wake up still somewhat intoxicated from the night before. Smoking became my way to cope, to numb the pain, and to simply make it through the days. Looking back, there are moments I wish I had stopped sooner, but I've come to realize that everything happened the way it needed to. Every step of my journey had its purpose, even the moments I'd rather forget.
On January 8, 2024, I made the decision to quit, and I haven't looked back since. My CrossFit journey played a big role in this shift. As I became more consistent with working out, I noticed my desire to smoke at night started to fade. Quitting felt like a natural transition—a step forward in the growth I was already experiencing. It wasn't just about breaking a habit; it was about embracing a healthier, more present version of myself.
This past year has been about so much more than just quitting—it's been about reclaiming my life. I've gained resilience, clarity, and a deeper trust in myself. And while it hasn't always been easy, I'm proud of who I'm becoming and everything I've learned along the way.
Astrologically, this year has been a powerful period of transformation, with several key transits reflecting the shifts I've experienced. Below is a breakdown of how these transits have influenced my life:
• Saturn in Pisces (6th House)
• Started: March 2023
• Ends: February 2026
Some of the 6th house themes include daily habits, health, fitness and self care, which made this transit feel particularly impactful as I focused on improving my health. Saturn's transit through my 6th house has encouraged me to develop healthier routines and take a more disciplined approach to my well-being, aligning perfectly with my decision to quit smoking marijuana.
• Neptune in Pisces (6th House)
• Started: 2011-2012
• Ends: January 2026
Neptune's influence in the 6th house has challenged me to find clarity and structure in my daily life, pushing me to move away from old coping mechanisms, escapism and illusions. At the same time, as I moved through these challenges, I began regaining spiritual clarity, becoming more intuitive, and reconnecting with my abilities. This period has felt like a spiritual awakening, realigning me with a deeper understanding of my subconscious, my entire being, and the world around me.
• Second Saturn Opposition
•First Pass: Late 2023 (when Saturn first approached the opposition)
• Second Pass: Mid-2024 (during Saturn retrograde)
• Final Pass: Early 2025
The second Saturn opposition has been a time of deep self-reflection, realignment and reevaluation of friendships and social circles. Making profound lifestyle changes (fitness, diet, sobriety) is exactly what Saturn wants - doing the hard work of rebuilding my foundation. While it may feel isolating now, these changes are setting me up for a more stable future and encourage me to step into a more authentic version of myself.
• North Node in Aries/South Node in Libra
• Start Date: July 2023
• End Date: January 2025
The North Node in Aries and South Node in Libra has highlighted the need for me to balance personal growth with my relationships. This transit has been especially significant in helping me stop people-pleasing, recognize relationships for what they truly were or weren't, and to speak my truth. Because I was caught in cycles of escapism and emotional numbness, I wasn't fully aware of this behavior and I tolerated more than I should have. This transit empowered me to become more of my true self, prioritize my needs, and let go of toxic connections.
• Pluto's Transition from Capricorn (4th House) to Aquarius (5th House)
• Capricorn to Aquarius Transition Date: November 2023
Pluto's shift from my 4th house of foundation, inner world, emotions, and self-care to my 5th house of creativity and self-expression has been transformative. As I grounded myself, I began reconnecting with passions I had neglected, such as writing—and, when my body allows it, even dancing. This transit has marked a return to personal expression, as I rediscovered creativity that had been dormant for a long time
With these transits and my decision to quit smoking weed, it feels as though a veil was lifted. I began to recognize and honor my boundaries, taking better care of myself. There are likely more transits at play that I'm not fully aware of yet, as I continue learning astrology and gaining insights along the way. It's fascinating and deeply validating to see how astrology aligns with these shifts.

Saturn entered Pisces on March 7, 2023, and will remain there until May 24, 2025. In astrology, Saturn is known as the “Great Teacher,” the planet that brings us face-to-face with life’s boundaries, responsibilities, and the lessons that come through hard experience. For those with significant placements in the 6th house, Saturn’s transit through Pisces is a time of deep reflection and restructuring, especially around health, daily routines, and service to others, including pets. The 6th house governs our physical well-being, the work we do on a day-to-day basis, and how we care for ourselves and those around us. As Saturn transits this house, it often calls for a reevaluation of our routines, health habits, and how we expend our energy.
For me, Saturn’s movement through Pisces has been particularly significant because it forms an opposition to my natal Saturn in Virgo—an aspect that brings intense self-assessment and urges us to confront areas of life that need restructuring. This opposition is known to challenge our sense of responsibility and force us to recognize where we’ve overextended ourselves or neglected our needs. As Saturn’s transit in Pisces began, I was already facing significant life transitions, and this period has been a journey marked by loss, health crises, and ultimately, healing.
In March 2023, just as Saturn moved into Pisces, I lost my job due to health issues. My contract officially ended in August 2023, leaving me unemployed for over a year. What began as physical health challenges gradually uncovered deeper mental health struggles related to unresolved trauma and grief. As Saturn moved through my 6th house, it was as though I was being forced to confront the limitations of my body and mind—pushing me to face uncomfortable truths about my capacity to keep going without taking proper care of myself.
The 6th house also governs the ways we serve and care for others, and during this time, I found myself in a challenging position, both personally and professionally. Saturn’s lessons were clear: I had to slow down, reassess my boundaries, and rebuild my life on a foundation that prioritized my well-being.
During the same period, in late summer of 2023, my cat Tijgertje began showing signs of illness. The months that followed were filled with appointments, treatments, and sleepless nights as his condition worsened. Tijgertje wasn’t just a pet; for 15 years, he was my dear companion. Caring for him became all-consuming, and I found myself willing to do anything to ease his suffering. As each treatment failed to bring lasting relief, I was forced to confront the reality that I might have to let him go. Saturn in the 6th house often stirs themes of compassion and selfless care but also demands emotional boundaries. In my case, I had to find the balance between doing everything I could for Tijgertje and recognizing when it was time to release him from his suffering. Letting him go in February 2024 was one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever made, yet it taught me that sometimes, the most loving thing we can do is to let go.
The day after I said goodbye to Tijgertje, I was rushed to the emergency room with severe abdominal pain. The diagnosis: stomach ulcers, likely brought on by the intense grief and stress I had been carrying. It felt as though my body could no longer hold up under the weight of everything I had been enduring. Saturn’s opposition to my natal Saturn was bringing to the surface unresolved issues around health and self-care, and it forced me to recognize just how much I had neglected my own well-being in favor of caring for others.
In the months that followed, Saturn’s lessons continued to unfold. My physical health, which had initially started to decline in early 2023 and led to losing my job, began worsening again. This setback forced me to take additional tests, ultimately revealing new insights into the underlying causes. Saturn guided me to reassess my routines, my emotional habits, and my approach to self-care. I learned to slow down, listen to my body, and prioritize my health. Saturn’s energy in the 6th house is about the small, consistent acts of care that build resilience. This transit has been about rebuilding from the ground up, not only in terms of physical health but also in terms of how I show up for myself emotionally.
As I reflect on Saturn’s transit through my 6th house, I realize that this period of loss, healing, and growth has been transformative. Saturn’s lessons are never easy, but they are necessary. This transit has taught me that resilience isn’t just about pushing through—it’s also about knowing when to rest, when to let go, and when to honor one’s own needs. Though I’m still on this journey, I now feel a deeper sense of strength and clarity. As Saturn goes direct on November 15, I hope to see forward momentum and perhaps a lighter path ahead. Saturn may bring us face-to-face with our limits, but in doing so, it helps us build the foundation for a more resilient and fulfilling life.

Since Tijgertje’s passing in February, I haven’t used my living room. I avoided it because it reminded me too much of how alone I was. I spent my time in my bedroom and kitchen or, on good days, out on the balcony. But today, I decided it was time to return to the living room and begin using it again. I reorganized a few things, dusted off some surfaces, lit candles, and turned on the TV.
As I did, I became overwhelmed with emotion, realizing how much I missed the coziness of my apartment—and even more, how deeply I missed Suzy and Tijgertje. So many memories flooded my mind, and I felt so emotional. At the same time, it felt like this is what they would want me to do—move on and take care of myself and our home. Even though they’re gone, this will always be their home too. They helped make this place a sanctuary with me, something I had always hoped and prayed for—my safe place. They were with me, helping me make that happen, creating a home that made me feel like I truly belonged. God, I miss them so!
Now, as I sit on the couch, warm and cozy under my blanket, there are moments when I look to the empty spaces beside me, and it stings not to see them here next to me or in their other spots in the living room.
Even though I still feel sad, I have to admit that a small change, like sitting in a different room and making a few adjustments, really can help. It’s what got me to write all this again after feeling stuck and unable to put my thoughts down lately.
It also made me realize how much I have to be thankful for—both the experiences I’ve gained and the lessons I’ve learned, and the blessings I still have.
Just now, I found out that the Moon is in Capricorn, conjunct Pluto in Capricorn, and this transit is happening in my 4th house.
Astrologically, the Moon represents emotions, intuition, and the subconscious. Today, it’s conjunct Pluto, the planet of transformation, power, and deep psychological shifts. The 4th house is the area of home, family, and inner emotional foundations, which are deeply connected to the subconscious. This final meeting in Capricorn feels like the closing of a chapter that has profoundly shaped my inner world for years. With Pluto moving into Aquarius and my 5th house—the area of creativity, joy, romance, passion, and self-expression—the focus is shifting. It now turns toward discovering what brings me genuine fulfillment and excitement.
Pluto entered Capricorn in 2008, the same year Suzy and Tijgertje were born and when I adopted them. This is the last time in my lifetime that the Moon and Pluto will meet in Capricorn, closing this cycle. Pluto will be moving into Aquarius on November 19 for the next 20 years or so.
Somehow, everything I’ve been going through today makes sense now, and at the same time, it feels surreal. I feel mixed emotions: sadness and grief for what no longer is, worry and stress over my challenges and what’s to come, but also a hint of curiosity—and maybe even a touch of excitement. It feels like an end of a cycle, maybe even an end of an era. It feels like a goodbye, and I’m not always good with goodbyes. I never really was, actually. This 16-year-long transit has been filled with many goodbyes, each of them teaching me something.
One thing is certain: I’ve learned to be more aware, more graceful, and far more patient with myself. And these are only a few of the lessons I’ve learned over these past 16 years. It’s been quite a journey.
