I am not Austrian, simply german so I won't go into depth about Austrian dialect, if someone has a correction as I still can make mistakes they are appreciated so I can fix it :D

Pet names:

Ok so I saw many people simply translate "Love" and this bound to make a mistake as the simple word for "Love" in german is "Liebe"

When you want to call someone Love in german you can go

Lieber = masculine, Liebes = feminine/other

And of course there are those that many germans use like

Schatz/Schätzchen, the ladder being a cutification of it and means treasure (literally) or dear (in comparison in usage)

Maus/Mäuschen, now I just ADORE when people use this because it so cute and again the ladder is a cutification and simply means mouse

Herzblatt, now I don't know about this one but its something my mother calls me and its a natural one in terms of gender and can be used as many other pet names for either your kids or your partner, it literally means heart leaf

Hase/Häschen: I don't hear people call each other this much anymore but it's a gender neutral one as well and means bunny

To all the people posting things like “things Hobie would actually like” or “songs Hobie wouldn’t listen to” I have something to say.

First, canon speaking, you probably aren’t wrong. But that doesn’t mean to go and say that to people who headcanon things like him listening to Lana del ray because it’s just that, a headcanon. You also have to think about the fact that hobie is probably a comfort character to a lot of these people who are posting these headcanons. And even then, the whole premise of the spider verse movies is that there are millions of spider Parker’s alone, with small differences and variations. Just because the Hobie we see in the movie is a certain was doesn’t mean there’s a similar Hobie with these headcanons being actual canon.

Tl;dr: don’t ruin peoples fun/coping mechanisms just because it’s not “canon”

Sad boys being edgy and finding comfort together, just not as lovers (yet?). Conversations like “I wish I let myself be more happy with my partner. I wish I'd let them take care of me, wish I hadn’t been so stubborn” “if it makes you feel any better, I wish I had given space to my partner whenever they felt down and maybe even talked about, maybe then they would’ve told me what was actually going on their head. wish I had a better clue of what was going on in their head the day I lost them.” They never actually go into details about their past partners, never wanting to ask questions or open old wounds. They just talk about how their partner made them feel or how they wish they could do better. They both felt so much loss and mourned each other and their relationship so heavily during their time apart that their brains just refused to even consider they might have met again. Even when it was so obvious they were two sides of the same coin. Honestly, gaz and price would probably figure it out before ghost and his partner, but soap is the one who blurts it out to ghost one day. Soap's big mouth is the only reason the lovers even realize who the other is.
