New Blog
Hello! Wow, it's been ages since I last posted. Guess it goes without saying that I'm back to 180lbs... but I'm doing very well with getting back on track lately!
This post is to let all of you know I've made an entirely new blog, as this is just a side for my main (a K-pop blog I'm no longer interested in). It will be my blog for everything from health to dank memes, so please follow me there if you like!

Major Milestone~
I've been extremely busy with classes and have had no time to post, sorry about that! However, I've kept up with controlling my eating (thought I haven't had time for exercise either) and have made significant progress...
November 26, 2017
I am 175.0lbs [-45lbs] today. (Hips: 41in [-8in], Waist: 29in [-9in])
This is the first time in four years I have been at this weight, and I haven't felt this amazing in that long either. I'm incredibly proud of myself, and I can't wait to see how much better I can feel~

I've been pretty burnt out for the last two days... I didn't exercise today or yesterday, and I also haven't gotten a lot done in the way of classwork. 4 page essay due Friday? Cool.
I think I hurt my ankle a few minutes ago, I crouched to get something and I felt a sharp pain on the top left. It still hurts... I hope nothing bad happened and that I can start exercising again.
I'm considering starting the food prep thing again; it's proven near impossible to balance both school and a healthy diet and adequate sleep. The food prep will keep me from snacking and make meals really fast, so I think it'd be worth it!
Sorry for not posting a lot, I'm trying to get back in the groove of everything ^^;

Exercise - 4/21 I went to bed early last night, just feeling tired, and woke up around 2:30am. Then my favorite music group dropped a new album at 3am. It's been an exciting morning indeed! I figured 'why not exercise to the new title song at 5am?' and that's what happened. Good stuff~

hey i need help. im 20 and wegh around 244 lbs i desperatly am trying to lose weight but, don't have time to work out, because im in school. and i just need tips pleaseeeee
You seem to have your motivation, so you’ve already taken the first step~ I know how you feel, I really struggle to balance healthiness and school, but there’s always a way to do something!
(I just want to say that I’m not a professional of any kind and these tips are just from my experiences and extensive research.)
1. When you walk to class, go a little earlier and take a bit of a longer route so you get more walking in. It may not seem like a huge difference, but every little bit counts!
2. Keep something healthy to snack on with you. I have the problem where I always want to stop at an overpriced campus vending machine, but snacking on some roasted almonds or grapes usually gets me by.
3. Reduce stress. It may be a pretty tall order to tell a college student to not be stressed, but if possible, aim for making you-time. Stress creates excess cortisol in your body, which in turn, makes it harder to lose weight (among other effects).
4. Be sure to get enough sleep; I actually just learned in my psychology class that sleep deprivation can spark weight gain and hinder weight loss.
5. As everyone always says ALL THE TIME EVERYWHERE, drink water!! Yeah, sometimes water just has that ‘ughh…’ to it, but being properly hydrated will reduce any extra bloating or water retention, and helps your metabolism~

Today was fine overall. I've been working so hard on schoolwork that I've almost burnt myself out, so I took a day off. It's better to do so now instead of blasting through and not having enough energy towards the end of the semester.
The food prep thing had its ups and downs. The food just kinda felt like leftovers... but I loved just being able to reach for the container and spend less time wandering around the fridge.
I got in a fall/christmassy mood today and decided to bake chocolate chip cookies for my family; not only that, but I went ahead and got soda and these little potato fry things. I could have done better, but overall I'm proud of the fact that I'm almost in the 170s again~ Tomorrow will be better!
Also, fun news; I'm going to Kansas City for a week to visit my friend this Christmas! I leave on December 20th, so hopefully I can lose about 10-12lbs before then~~ I'll do my best!!
Tomorrow is Monday.. I hope all of you have a wonderful week!

Exercise - 3/21 I'm a seventh of the way through with my goal for the month! I did NOT want to exercise today honestly, but having already taken a break for two days, I eventually mustered up the motivation for it. Luckily, it seemed to go very quickly! Today I start my food prep meals; I'm curious to see how it goes!

Yesterday I was so busy studying and trying to get work done that the daily post completely slipped my mind. I didn't exercise yesterday or today since my leg pain seems to be getting worse; I'm doing resistance band stretches to get better, though~
I'm so burnt out from studying all day yesterday. Despite all the time I spent on my psychology class, I only finished 4 assignments. There's so much tedious busywork, it's actually quite infuriating... but I know it'll be over before I know it if I just keep going. Giving up will turn my chance of completing the 50 more assignments into a zero percent chance. I don't want that.
It'll take some elbow grease, but I can push through this class!
My diet's been okay yesterday and today, just sliding off the rails a bit towards the end of the day. My food prep containers came, too, but I haven't had time to use them yet. Soon, though!
