Chocolate No-Milk Shake, In-’n-Out Style. Fast-food outfit in California does have the best milkshake. But if you want to be dairy-free, sugar-free, gluten-free, avoid health-hazard foods and still have a DELICIOUS afternoon snack, this recipe is for you: Ingredients: 1 can frozen coconut milk 2 tbs. organic raw cacao 1 to 2 tbs. organic maple syrup 1/4 tsp. Coarse Celtic salt 1/2 tsp. organic vanilla extract 2 tbs. coconut oil Directions: Add all ingredients into a high-speed blender and blend until it has a thick milk-shake consistency. Pour out and drink. Before you drink, take pictures and post them here. I would love to see how it turned out and hear your opinion. Tag us: @livinghealthtv Tips: If you don’t want to order the coconut milk online, you can get it at Trader Joe’s. Get the organic regular (not the light). It only has coconut milk and water (no guar gum), it’s organic, and it costs about $1. It doesn’t need to be in the freezer for more than 2 hours. The coconut oil make sure it’s organic, raw and unrefined. The raw organic cacao costs a little more but it lasts. We did when searching for our dog, and were not disappointed.Why We Chose Scituate Harbor? No, not because “The Witches of Eastwick” was shot there. We chose to stay in Scituate Harbor because of the ocean, sail boats and the lighthouse. It’s summer in America, Europe, and anywhere else above the equator. One of the most dangerous consequences of a #hotsummer is #dehydration. Dehydration is more than just the loss of water; your body also loses #electrolytes, especially sodium, leading it to a state of decreased blood volume. Mild symptoms are fatigue, inability to concentrate, leg cramps, visual snow, dizziness, irritability, nervousness, and headaches. Severe symptoms are deliriousness and even death; needless to say that dehydration is a serious matter and in extreme cases requires immediate medical attention. One of the reasons why people become dehydrated is because with today’s busy schedules and media interruptions, many have “taught” themselves to ignore their body’s thirst signals. Let’s face it, though, being thirsty means that your body is already dehydrated. Other causes are vigorous exercise, especially in hot weather (whenever exercising in hot weather, always drink water), diarrhea, vomiting, fever or excess sweating.
