Very late update about this :

I figured out way too late that either my usb, my pc or SketchbookPro couldn't work with that many layers so all the puppets that I'd made for my exam corrupted (most of the layers fused with each other, some in the wrong order as well), I still passed that exam so considering that all I did in and out of class for months was that...I got lucky.

So yeah, that's why I didn't post a tutorial on how to make them.

I know the same can be achieved with AdobeAnimate and MOHO but I'd have to pirate them.

I'm gonna keep an eye out for free programs to see if the same can be achieved through them and if it is possible then I'll make a video on how to make them.

For clarification: Same-sex marriage is legal in all 50 states right now based on the 2015 Supreme Court ruling. But, with the court standing as it is and with Roe being taken down, codifying same-sex marriage in law would mean that the Supreme Court would have a much, MUCH harder time stripping away the right. This is important. Marriage as a legal binding is critical to allowing spouses to visit each other in the hospital, make medical decisions, share assets, adopt and form families, and more. We need TEN Republicans to support the bill, so far there are FIVE likely supporters - we need AT LEAST FIVE MORE.

When I posted this I had been working on a LukeJoe drawing for 6 days both on paper and digitally.

The problem with this is I apparently used a software for years without understanding how it works. 🤦

The first LukeJoe drawing I posted on here was a Batjokes crossover comic.

After a while I've gone M.I.A. for a few months.

That first week of radio silence, I started making a digital version of the comic with colors.

The reason I stopped is because I have the bad habit of alternating between 2 to 5 drawings at a time.

I remembered that I could save the drawings and continue later so I just saved without paying much attention to what I was doing.

The problem is that I saved the image as a jpg and to keep working on it I should have saved it as tiff or psd.

This means I did the first panel

Then I worked on the 2nd a few hours

I closed the software to do something else.

THEN I came back to it and all the layers were gone.

Ok but LJ, what does this have to do with the relatively recent post?

I thought until now that I couldn't close the software and start something else.

When I wrote that post I actually thought I could finish the current work in a couple of days... I should have remembered that my perception of time is hella broken.

Basically I've been working on this drawing a few hours a day for 24 days (I've never worked on something for so long so I guess that's a win🎊) and TODAY I find out I could have closed the software, started something else on it and get back to it after.

Anyways, now I know and hopefully I won't do that mistake again.

I finished the drawing, I'm just doing a quick sketched bonus scene then I'll publish it.

So yeah, apologies for going M.I.A. again 😓

been thinking about lukejoe asylum AU's lately. one version where both luke and joe are patients, and they don't really have anyone else but each other. basically a love story about two mad men against the world.

another version is if one of them was the patient, and the other is a doctor. as time passes, their bond grows stronger, and the two start forming a secret, romantic relationship.

what do you think? :)

I did German Shepherd Weredog Luke, now it's time for Chihuahua Weredog Joe.

Drawing on a new sketchbook, not used to this type of paper yet.

This should have been posted for Halloween, but I was so busy with the moving in the new house! Considering that the Wendigo (or Windigo) is a creature from the Native Americans mythology, it’s incredibly plausible :D

For Joe, well, I’ve always been into something classic, like a werewolf.

If Luke was a werewolf/weredog he would be a German Shepherd and while transformed he would be a good boi.🐕‍🦺

The pencil I used broke while doing the background of the first panel, had to switch it with a harder one...the paper didn't like it 😅
