Random idea: MLP, but all of the adult characters have eye shadow and eye liner. Yes, even the guys. It is never brought up or mentioned. They just all have it. Some also wear lipstick or lip gloss, all genders, but that depends entirely on the character as others do go without. This is also unaddressed.

….”I’m Pansexual.” I announced one night while my family was staying in a hotel room, during one of our few bouts of homelessness. Not joking. We were all just watching tv and I announced that from underneath the coffee table I was sleeping under so everyone else got the beds. I think we were talking about celebrities and I agreed that I thought Chris Hemsworth was hot. Got asked if I was gay and I went “No, I’m Pan.”

And all that’s come from it is my mom being paranoid of haters finding out and trying to hurt me. No “Are you sure?” or anything making it awkward. Just another reason for my mom to be a bit overprotective, lol!

Also a He/Him guy who just doesn’t really care what pronouns you call me so long as you’re not rude, but I don’t think that counts as anything. I’m just indifferent about it I suppose. Probably just one of those things my brain does that is weird.

Batkids enter a McDonalds and order a bunch of food including a happy meal. The old lady behind the counter asks Damian what toy he wants since they just got a fresh shipment of them in.

Jason answers.

The happy meal is for him.

The old lady doesn’t know how to respond besides general manners, but does feel the awkwardness lift away when she sees the group having a good time as they eat, but notes that Jason hasn’t opened his toy.

Later at the Batcave, Bruce sees a little package with a familiar M on it on a small shelf of cheap plastic toys with a note: “Love, Jason”. He can’t stop the small smile as the little collection was complete.

It’s funny how a lot of my AU ideas for Steven Universe and The Owl House seem to be original or at least not super widespread, but then I get into My Little Pony and I’m struggling to find one of those AU ideas and be unique enough to not get accused of copying from someone else. Like I went from “wow, no one wants to make a Gundam or Digimon AU with these awesome characters” to “How the Hell are there so many of these?!”

I love it and hate it, lol! I want to be unique, but the fact that the fandom has had so many people that such AUs have been done multiple times makes that a challenge. I enjoy a challenge, but at the same time it just gives me this bit of a headache. I feel like I’ve struck gold only to find out that someone already did that or close enough.

Thankfully a lot of those projects are old and the franchises tied to them are still alive and kicking which in turn means I have plenty of new material to work with that they didn’t. Doesn’t stop certain things from fitting really well that have been done to death, like Yugioh deck themes or Digimon partners.

Guess this is just a way of me saying that I have a ton of projects for SU, TOH and MLP and I just keep coming up with more before I finish any, lol! I just like working on stuff.

Attention! The following is my personal opinion and does not mean that I think that you are in the wrong for disagreeing or at fault for liking the characters that I am about to talk about. You have every right to love them if you do and I even encourage you to keep loving them. This is just how I personally view them and that has about as much impact on your life as a single ant taking a nap on the other side of the planet. Enjoy my madness if you want to!

With that out of the way, I am fully convinced that Flash Sentry, Timber Spruce and Raga Muffin exist solely because Hasbro said “No Homo”. They are just so…plain Jane. Shallow. There’s nothing to them besides some small cliches and being guys.

Equestria Girls and MLP G4 as a whole did a really good job making even the background characters with next to no lines feel like real people going about their lives, reacting to the world around them and having their own relationships, but those three just don’t have that vibe.

Now I can forgive Raga Muffin since he literally only appears in a single special and mostly exists for the Rarijack tease, but Flash and Timber appear multiple times, flat out have lines and the latter even has a few shorts with him being important. Yet they just feel like they are there.

They feel more like background characters than the ones with literally no official name like the one that looks like Celestia who runs a food truck. (Side note, but I genuinely think that’s her kid with some ex and will totally use that in a future fic.)

It’s like they just exist so Sunset and Twilight have guys to be shipped with because Hasbro said so.

Now, as stated in my opening, this is just my opinion and I don’t know the full behind the scenes process regarding their existence or plans, but it doesn’t stop me from getting that vibe.

They don’t feel like they naturally belong to the world and give off the “Corporate Suggestion that can’t be ignored” aura.

I don’t know what else to say. I personally don’t ship anyone with either of them, mostly I ship the girls together as a polycule or at least in different combinations with the random Vinyl ship just because, so I guess it doesn’t matter. In the end this was just me explaining what I feel about these characters and nothing more.

Oh and human Twilight only exists because Hasbro needed to keep the name in the toyline, but unlike the “No Homo Bros” she is actually a fleshed out and organic character who deserves it. Now if you don’t mind I’m pulling out my Sci-Twi and Vinyl figures to make them kiss. What? They’re toys and you should play with your toys otherwise they might as well be pictures.

“But I’m allergic to strawberries!” I cry, hoping that the alien would reconsider their cruel and horrific plan.

They paused, placed an appendage to what I could only assume was their chin since I had no other example for self-compilation besides my fellow humans. Eventually they spoke. “Is it a mild or serious reaction?”

“Dead serious. Hives that seals my throat right up and can suffocate me without immediate medical attention.” I answer, even showing medical records of my allergy.

“Very well…are you allergic to walnuts?” They ask, moving in what I assume is a questioning manner.

“No and I have experience picking those off of the ground to help my grandparents out.” I reply with a nostalgic smile. “My sisters, cousins and I would compete to see who could fill their bucket first and celebrate with some of my grandma’s baked goods. After washing up, of course.”

“Excellent! Then you will be assigned to the walnut division! Anyone else with allergies, please report them in an orderly manner so I may assign you to more fitting labor.”

“And that’s how I met your grandmother.” I say, seeing if it caught the grandkids off guard.

“We know gramps. Grandma 9438279402 showed us the recordings a dozen times.” Zep392 replied, not looking up from their game. “Don’t you have any new stories?”

I hum for a few seconds before I let out a sinister chuckle. “Well I never told you how we spent our honeymoon, right?”

I laugh loud enough for my dentures to come loose as they scream in terror.

"Dear earthlings, prepare to be my slave!" Announced the alien. "You will have to work 3 entire days from Monday to Wednesday, you will only get A5 wagyu steak for meals, and if that isn't cruel enough you'll have to work 2 entire torturing hours of picking strawberries every single work day!"

The king let out an deep, exasperated sigh. “I just…explain.”

The mage gave a quizzical look. “I can’t return her dead, unless you wanted her that way….did you?”

The king growled as he slapped his forehead. “Heavens, no! I just don’t understand your logic! You’re a necromancer for God’s sake!”

The mage replied with a tired sigh. “No, no. I’m a nekomancer. I can summon and command cats of all kinds including humanoid.”

There was a pause as the king stared into the mage’s eyes, as if searching for some sign that this was a joke or lie. Finding none, he adjust his crown before speaking. “Let me get this straight. You have the power to summon and command cats and you chose to kidnap my daughter for ransom?”

“That’s right. Lured her away with a fuzzy grey kitten she has named Storm Cloud. She can keep him.”

“You didn’t think to use this great magic for any other means of profit?” The king probed.

“What do you mean? Like having them pickpocket people?” The mage replied, not quite sure where this was going.

“Oh I don’t know, like say, using them for pest control, offering folks a means to get rid of troublesome vermin for a reasonable amount of coins, or using mountain lions to hunt prized meat for butchers, putting on shows to entertain peasants and nobles alike.” The king paused, looking the mage directly into the eyes. “You said humanoid, correct? Can they be fully sapient?”

“Yeah…” The mage said in a cautious tone.

“You do know what furries are, right?”

There was a long pause, the only sound being the little purrs and meows of Storm Cloud as he played in the princess’s lap.

Then the mage made sound akin to a ball deflating. “I’m an idiot…”

“Yes, yes you are.” Was all the king said before dropping a sack of gold at the mage’s feet and guiding his daughter and the new royal pet out of the hut.

"So let me get this straight, you kidnapped my daughter, cured her of her deadly illness, and now you're finally calling for a ransom? Why!?" "Well your daughter was going to be useless to me dead."
