🦄 🐉Fae Unicorn Dragon. If you could have a dragon or a unicorn, which would you choose?? Commission W-i-P. ✊ If you could have one of your hands chopped off and replaced with a hand made of powerful ethereal energy wouldya do it!? I think I would as long as it wasn't my drawing hand. Unless it comes with an ethereal stylus..🖌< not a stylus. ▫️ Some refinement from a while ago on this (currently "undeadish") Alexander commission for a long time collaborative creator and patreon supporter! ▫️ Restarted his legs and still need to fix his armour, Godhand, and coat (erased some of the back to paint his belt over it and turn that piece into more of a sash) but overall coming along and not far from done now!! Might be tackling a few more characters at once after this to speed up the illustrations; I'm apparently cursed in that every character I've worked on so far has died!! On of them is my new Discord Server! If you don't already know, Discord is a sort of live chat/forum type app, typically used by gamers, but has a growing artist community. . I am brand new to this whole Discord thing, so this will be something that develops as we go, but I hope to create a bit more a of a community and this will be a really fun way to keep in touch and be able to do and chat about some ril cool stuff! New Second Seal comic updates coming soon! Follow our new IG @secondsealcomic !! Thought we'd start sharing some of the previous developmental work on the comic and characters for good 'ol #throwbackthursday ! . This is the deadly Doku, our main character and the first ever concept for the series. Her actual design hasn't changed much. We both felt we nailed it down pretty much on the first go and her look has defined much of the style of our post-zombie-apocalypse world; one in which the remaining population has since reverted to their ancient tactics, cultures, and warriors' means of surviving and coping with the harsh new world. Hey hey! Here's the next rough sketch in the party that includes La'Thari the half-elf shadow ranger and Pandora the soul-steamborg Nephalem healer: Alexander! This is the backstory given to me by the commissioner: "Alexander was a enslaved/apprentice to a blacksmith before breaking away and joining a group of bandits where he learned to be a cutthroat type. Years of hard living left him bitter and greedy, but then he met a group that started to care about him. Then they cut his arm off trying to help save him from mummy rot and he slipped into a dark place. Later he came to a temple of holiness and light where he was cleansed of the darkness inside him and he became a holy assassin of the light!" (His missing arm was subsequently replaced with a Holy ethereal arm!) Originally I was under the impression he was to a black man like a cross between a noble and Blackbeard the pirate, and this sketch was done before I got the full backstory, so we are going to go with a little more armour/paladin vibe, less pirate, but thought I'd share this iteration while I revamp his design in a second sketch! Well saw a few artist post some goblins for what is/was #goblinweek! Not sure if it was from Sunday on or Monday on, so I may have missed it... but I do what I want! ...and honestly, isn't every week goblin week? Beware!! Haha and now for something completely different than my last piece! This was a Christmas gift commissioned by a good friend for her bf and also good friend and Patron of mine, Matt! His lady wanted a cartoon monster in the the vibe of a Carebear to be printed on a beanie hat for him. The only other criteria was it had to be kinda cute, kinda grumpy, have a beard, grumbly guts, the words "Beware Grumbleguts", maybe in a blue colour scheme, and eyes that are golden- brown-with-a-green-rim-around-the-pupil; just like Matt's!!! Awwwwwwww!!!! So I came up with this Carebear/My Pet Monster/Sully/Moogle kinda guy and I think he's just swell! I hope they both like him as much as I do (apparently so! There's couple pics attached- one with the handsome devil wearing the final beanie!) and I hope you do too!! :) Got a certain super secret painting gig this weekend (😉), then back at commission work, Daedalic RPG development art and yes... Do you beleive in #angels !? Type 😇 if yes, 😈 if no!! Completed Pandora the soul-steamborg Nephalim healer! Whoo! Finally getting back on track with commissions and art!! Again! Put a lot of hours into this one and is one of my best to date. This is fairly lo res (full res version and PSD is available on my Patreon!), but the original is pretty large (approx. 6000px×5000).
