Comme des Garçons x Otomo Katsuhiro.
In 2013, the Comme des Garçons physical mailers featured the work of Katsuhiro Otomo, the first Japanese artist to ever be featured in Comme des Garçons mail outs.

Both Otomo and Kawakubo stand as pioneers in their fields, inspiring fashion and anime fans all over the globe. In the late 80s, Otomo did with Akira what Kawakubo did with Comme des Garçons in Paris in the early 80s: marking the beginning of a new era for their industry.

Being part of the big three, Kawakubo introduced the second wave of Japanese fashion to the world, while Otomo captivated global audiences, directing the eyes of the world to anime and giving the genre widespread appeal.
Yet it took until 2013 for Comme des Garçons to look at a Japanese creator for the artwork of their mailer. The result is a collection of stunning printed Otomo artworks in collaboration with NoBrow press, featuring a variety of Otomo’s most iconic work.

“Movement” – a series of photographs by Ethiopian photographer Girma Bert 🇪🇹
In this series, the self-taught photographer sought to capture the soul and energy of African capitals. Using the shutter speed effect, Girma created dynamic portraits of people on bicycles on the streets of Morocco, Uganda, Mali and other African countries.
“My style of photography aims to capture the unique energy and personality of the people living in Africa. I'm particularly drawn to the vibrant atmosphere of big cities, where people from all walks of life come together,” says Burt.
