Wolfstar x Tedromeda x Jegulus

In the summer of 1975, three Hogwarts students of the noble house of Black find themselves at a crossroads. Sirius is running away from home, and it sets off a chain reaction in his brother as well as one of his dear cousins. Regulus, Sirius, and Andromeda will spend this academic year - their fifth, sixth, and seventh respectively - learning about themselves and the cost of happiness when you have grown up in the most noble house of Black.

Some lines I wrote that I really liked in the fic I'm writing (chapter 2)

“Padfoot,” James said, thinking this is one of those dumb sleep thoughts that sneak in wondering at whether a niffler would be attracted to those chocolates that look like coins, because well— they look like coins and really they are a bit, you know, shiny ish, in a dull foiled kind of way, anyway how good is a niffler’s vision anyhow—   He just wanted to see for himself how perfect the bloody Potters were. Not like Sirius was around to tell him not to. Not like anyone was around to tell him bloody anything. Regulus was fine. But he was also exceedingly alone. “Nah. Doesn’t have the same ring to it. Meda. A nickname as pretty as you." “I like that,” she said, her voice soft and warm and making him think of simmered cocoa. “I think it might be true, then. Met when we were supposed to, and not a day sooner.” Remus could never admit it aloud, but he did love to watch Sirius turn those big pouty expressions on… and he was absolutely helpless when it was turned towards him. This was a truth that Sirius could never discover.  High cheekbones, sharp enough to cut glass, those eyes that could show the darkest thoughts and the brightest mirth, planes of his face sometimes hidden with that damn shaggy— shaggable— shaggy hair that his mother would say begged for a good cut, but truly Remus would mourn if he ever did.
