Pride Month and The Aphobic Stereotypes

With Pride Month being here we will unfortunately see a lot of aphobia. The usual:

'you just haven't found the right one'

'how can you write/draw smut or enjoy smut art if you're asexual?'

No aphobia allowed. Asexuality and aromanticism is a spectrum. We're not all the same. I'm a sex-repulsed and romance-repulsed aro/ace. If you want to learn more research and kindly ask around. So Happy Pride Month to Aromantics, Asexuals, and Aroaces!

Based on cisweird and transweird, I don't think a tris (short for trans cis) version exists, so I made one :).

The I simplified the colours of the genderweird flag, and mixed the colours of this tris flag into it. The larger center grey stripe is meant to match the format of the tris flag.

Alright, so here's the word; linegender, a gender experience that rests on the line between being cis gnc and nonbinary. (I'm low-key questioning and this feels like a good way to describe my feelings, so who knows, it might be useful to someone else.)

We’ve had so many questions on how to tell if you’re cis gnc or nonbinary, I know some people will really appreciate this term! Thanks so much for sharing! =D

its so funny to me that ppl on tumblr are so obsessed with policing peoples identities. i tell cishet people im a transmasc multigender lesbian and they're just like "yeah ok that sounds about right", and maybe i get a couple of good-faith questions. and then you have a bunch of chuds on here dedicating so much time and energy to tell people that boys can't be lesbians and girls can't be gay men and bi lesbians aren't real

literally noone cares as much as y'all. i am so serious. there are much bigger problems out there than lesboys and turigirls and bi lesbians and bi turians. maybe focus your energy on political action instead of harassing people whose identity you refuse to understand

Controversal opinion, I don't think it's really ever appropriate for people to theorize about groups they're not apart of.

That's how you get things like "non binary people aren't oppressed" and "trans men are exactly like cis men in every way and therefore have male privilege" and "asexuals aren't LGBT" and "bisexuals have straight privilege" like maybe like, include the group you're theorizing about to talk about their experiences because it always ends up exclusionary otherwise.
