In the blink of an eye he was gone. Headlights driving farther out of view, into an unknown future. I stood under the moon lit sky as tears fell down my cheeks no longer able to barricade the emotions filling up inside. I wasn’t crying because I would now forever miss him, but because of what it all meant.

Straying from the norm can be uncomfortable during the path to expansion. Meeting new people who may or may not like you, facing your own triggers and deepening emotions as life goes onward. Run and avoid reality or get closer to it? There’s equally a lot to discover on both spectrums. Straddling the middle isn’t always easy either.

and gives in to the power of the wind,

i fell into the arms of expansion and discovery.

what was it like?

it felt like a trust fall, colliding with truth.

we are free to roam and feel and be just as we are without being held back by the human condition. surrendering to the unfolding and expanding of life on your terms without attachment, this is the practice.

i can feel into this knowingness

that the dream we are awake to

is not just an illusion

but the maker of our life.

It has to do with sitting in truth. Being with truth. That’s what I seek most. And in those moments when you speak open and honestly I feel I’m really with you and you with me. That’s being completely present. A witness to someone’s waking. The loss of that can make one feel empty, there’s a kind of void that feels vast because most of the time we are by ourselves in our thoughts. But when another is a witness to you, you feel you exist in the world.

what happens when you finally step into the unknown?
