Ok so, I haven't posted anything nor come back to tumblr in YEARS but here me out...

Everyone knows of fictional illnesses like the Hanahaki decease, the star tears, and other stuff but what if I propose a mix of both with something of my own?

The decease starts when a person succumbs far too much to a cruel person, a red flag if you will, and insists on turning a blind eye and saying they're good to the point that they get punished for their ignorance.

An itch will begin to appear in their ear before turning into an agonizing pain of aching.

For continuously ignoring the pleas of their friends and families, plants will begin to grow from their ears, damaging their hearing permanently, as a punishment of some sort. It's like saying "You don't wanna listen? Fine, I'll make it so you can never listen ever again."

Additionally, the more the person keeps themselves around the redflag, the more the plants will grow out of their ears, until it eventually circles their head like a flower crown of death. The plants, now blooming into flowers, will spin itself around the person's eyes, the thorns and leaves digging into their sockets.

It's essentially, "Don't want to see the red flags? Then just don't see at all!" type of thing.

Eventually, if the person remains in contact with the redflag by taking their shit, the thorns and leaves will dig so deep into their eye sockets that it touches their brain and basically just off-ing them.

As always, there needs to be a solution to this so here it is:

1.) The first and most ideal solution, personally cutting the red flag off. If they can strengthen their will and confidently prove that they won't succumb to any more manipulation, the leaves will weaken on their own until the person can freely trim them off.

Of course, if the growth is already too severe, damages are irreversible. Hearing and eyesight won't be magically fixed since it's your fault for letting it go that far anyway.

And 2.) Magically fixing the red flag and getting them to apologize sincerely to you. If they whisper the apologies enough and continuously, the plants will eventually wither away naturally until it has all fallen off from the infected person. (I know you angst lovers will eat this up)

Once again, damages won't be fixed even if the plants are dead.

I have no name for the disease yet so have fun thinking one for it if you want! If you have any ideas for a name, feel free to suggest :))

Summary:

Dazai Osamu was a girl who was adopted and raised to be perfect. She had straight hair, Straight A's, and was always on time. She's fine with acting nice around others, she's also fine with getting straight A's since she's a natural genius, She's fine with having her hair styled however Mori wants.

She was raised to be "Little Miss Perfect" and it just so happens that being perfect included being straight. Again, she never had a problem with that.

That is until a new girl comes around.

Her name? Nakahara Chuuya.

Dazai was adopted by Mori and is raised to be little miss perfect. She was alright with acting that way until Chuuya transfers to her school.

Dazai gets a crush but she knows she can’t because of, as always, Mori.

Then just some pining and light angst or fluff. Happy ending or sad ending, it’s your choice.

My Dazai high school au part 2

More of my High school Dazai au 

 -It takes a while, but when Dazai starts becoming close to the class he slowly stop wearing his mask 

 -Not like the metaphorical mask but as in the physical mask he wears 

 -Mori is his dad here and he’s quite overprotective of Dazai

 -That’s why when Mori noticed that Dazai gets sick so easily he started making Dazai wear masks wherever he goes 

 -It isn’t necessarily needed to be worn so he could always take it off but again, Overprotective Dad!Mori 

 -People and friends alike start approaching him more and dragging him off to sit or talk with them

-Dazai couldn’t be any happier 

 -Believe me, he likes his quiet times for reading and writing, maybe to just generally listen to music and chill

 -But it’s fun being around friends 

 -He loves gossip sessions with kouyo and Yosano 

 -The mind games he plays with fyodor 

 -The mini games and snacking he does with ranpo 

 -Him babbling off to kunikida about (actual, real) facts as he take notes, though most of them are about space 

 -The lively moments he has with Chuuya, same goes for akutagawa, Atsushi and many more 

 -Honestly Dazai couldn’t be any happier right now and he’d trade everything he could just for another second to be with them

 -Little does he know, everyone would do the same for him

More of my Dazai high school au

-Dazai wears a mask because he gets easily sick

-He sits at the back because he’s less likely to get caught if he starts reading or falls asleep (Not like the anyone has the heart to disturb him)

-People don’t come up and talk to him but not because they’re scared, they just get too caught up admiring him

-When someone dares to try and come even an inch too close as agreed, they’ll immediately drag them or bash him because Dazai is like leagues too high for anyone

-They practically worship him but our poor Dazai doesn’t know since he’s too busy reading

-He gets straight A’s and only speaks when spoken to

-But since people don’t try to talk to him, everyone basically think he’s mute

-Except for the teachers since he’s required to talk to them

-The teachers also love him since he’s a cute boy and would hands down adopt him if they could

-Dazai spends most of his time reading, sleeping, or eating

-Everyone thinks he’s adorable because of his eyes, they’re very round and look so soft and calm

-No one has seen his face before because whenever Dazai takes off his mask, something inconveniently blocks the view and people miss his face

-That’s why when they finally saw him, they were shock and fainting from the utter prettiness this man has

-They expected slightly puffy cheeks and adorable rose colored lips with a button nose

-Not a chiseled jaw and small slick lips and perfect white teeth and a smile that could be classified as a murder weapon

-If that’s how they reacted to Dazai showing his face, wait until you find out about when they heard his voice

-Then after that, wait until they hear his LAUGH

-People have shrines dedicated to him!

-They even have a fan club!

-However our cute non traumatized Dazai stays unaware, enjoying the books Mori buys him and the ones Oda recommends

I have a headcanon that Dazai in a high school/college au would be quiet and adorable.

Hear me out.

The only reason Dazai acts like that in canon is, what I assume, because of trauma and I like to think that if Dazai let all his masks down there would be a quiet, book loving person beneath it.

So if he were to not have any trauma then he’d have no reason to put up any masks or fonts around people.

So just imagine a quiet Dazai hanging out in libraries and reading there until one of the extroverts comes and adopts him.

He’d be like the schools golden boy, Dazai might not know it but he has tons of simps that’d kill for him in a heart beat.

This is forever going to be my headcanon when it comes to my high school/ college au’s.

I just recently got into BSD and you cannot tell me that Dazai can’t cook. I have full adopted and worship that headcannon. You’re gonna have to pry it from my long dead hands before I let it go.

No one knows that Dazai can cook since he never has the energy to cook. He doesn’t care for himself enough to cook actual food and eat it.

Only time he did cook was in dark era for Odasaku and Ango for obvious reasons. There were other Port Mafia members that find out like Elise, Hirotsu and Chuuya but that’s my part of the headcannon.

The ADA hasn’t found out yet but when they do they are going to both hate and love Dazai for it. LIke “This food you made is absolutely delicious but also how could you not tell us before?!?!?!” kind of love and hate.

 So now they basically bug Dazai everyday, if nothing big is going on at the moment, to cook for them. Everyone tries to come up excuses as to why exactly Dazai has to cook and for the first time they genuinely see Dazai get annoyed.

I like to think that when Todoroki is angry, and I mean full on angry, the type where one would go silent and have this terrifying aura around them, yeah that’s the one.

I like to think that when he gets like that he either slowly emits burning heat, one so hot that it could give you third degree burns or freezing air that if you get too close, your arm or whatever your reaching out to him, will solidify or freeze instantly.
