Would I want to pick up an Australian accent?
Alright I have an American accent that pins to the location from where I'm from out here. It's a scary one that came with me to University which I wasn't aware of.
"I love hugging you," ends up sounding like a naughty thing to 🚫 say to a friend who you haven't gotten anywhere close to on that level.
The British accent I sometimes have is from binging on Dr Who episodes. The Indian accent I had once every now and then was from enjoying Bollywood films along with picking up Hindi.
Yep, an Australian accent won't work for me unless maybe trying to add to the minority crew of s company. Nah. Maybe.
Mom says I'm whiter than her. Great grandma is from Spain. Mom's face and body look like porcelain. My dad is the dark one.
What kind of backward story can o tell about the reason for my accent? Dad was placed there for a few years and I picked it up quickly. It's easy for me with all the other languages I've learned along the way.

Think I'm happy that I no longer go hiking. The closest I get to it is cheering a friend on a tough hike that she's trying to do at night.
At least I'm on her phone letting her know I'm around. However, working herself up that area is tough. I've done it myself a couple times in college -- during the daytime.
Later Iet her know that she needs to find a group of people to head out with her if she's going when it's dark. There are mountain lions there.

IDK why I tested positive the cruelty of geese on one of my exes before. I adored the man sooo much. Yet rather than taking things out when I was upset with them, I threw bird seed at him when the geese were around me at the duck pond we always went to.
The grouchiness I felt lessened when I saw him running to flee from the flock.

This is why kids should explore
Of course I'm talking about having adults around when doing so. You definitely want to see and hear them in awe over what they find. Be ready for the questions too.
How'd I do this with my siblings? I was in college and working for corporate an hour away. The best I did was give them Power Puff Girls Monopoly.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
At least they played it all the time. Science just wasn't their forte. One recently decided to major in nursing though.

If this works, we might be able to walk our dog around downtown without a muzzle on. Hold on, he's a huge happy puppy turning 2 in May.
Thing with our Rottie is that he has no idea how big and scary he looks to other. Nevermind that he's super happy when he sees small dogs, it's only because he wants to give em a cordial sniff and have them chase him around the park.

That dog has guts to be in there at 7am on a weekday. At least so our last chihuahua, he only jumped in when family is in the water.

My goodness that snail would kill me unless I had a layer of salt around me at all times. Doctors are just going to need to deal with it.
Why can't I catch it and place it in a jar with it'sy own rainforest? Nothing said it can't be caught.

This is a lifesaver of a line to down if you're on s date and want the other person to keep talking. Am I the only one who bites their tongue they can't always control?
It's good to play it safe. You can take that tip from someone who has put themselves in totes awkward spots.
Take this comedian seriously. He's given great advice. (Someone who could've used it sooner.)

You have to understand what you're signing when you're getting the job
Could be me and a few others who studied business law in college that understand this. Treat your signature as precious.

This is pretty much me. Diff is I'm bedridden. The breakfast is similar to what I have in the afternoon when I'm seriously awake without the use of ☕.
The whole getting older thing is funny as heck when you can laugh at yourself and how life has changed. 1. Why didn't I just take cereal for breakfast before work? There's coffee at work.
Calling at ungodly hour's better than taking bets with coworkers on:
> who can answer the most calls
> resolve the most cases
> have the best metrics
And that's the push which got me studying hard to get out of that division. The company claiming habit was another. Consider it similar to a mama bird kicking their baby out of the nest so they could learn to fly and move out.
I was out of the house and in my own spot an hour away. The previous time I did that ended as I was called to Palm Springs to be with family. Then I was called to go back up to San Diego by a neighbor bc dad wasn't taking good care of himself health wise.
That's before I was even 20yo. Are you feeling the stress. I'm so happy my young siblings have graduated college and are going back for degrees.
Unless my baby sis is getting distracted by her boyfriend, I think she might want to take the family offer to go for her MBA. She's made it well known that she doesn't want to get pregnant and would rather adopt later.

Awesome job kids! I'm so happy they've jumped into dressing up. It's good practice for when they get older.
What happened to me? I was happy to be in a profession where khakis and polo shirts were our thing. That was simple enough. Of course we 💕 GAP and their subsidiaries, there was a point I got lost though.
After a decade of being casual tech support and not having to dress up, I became a manager. Maybe people were messing with me, but nobody told me that management loses casual Fridays.
The few thousand dollars they upped you to is to stay prettied up the WHOLE week. Sorry, I'm not like the rest of the employees. It's not even about my sicknesses.
To help keep floating out in the San Francisco Bay Area, we string along investments and side gigs. My husky was a princess of a guardian. She loved our daily mi walks and grooming sessions. That's my baby and I treated her as such. My dog helped keep me healthy by enjoying the fresh air and talks with me.
> Okay, my husky liked looking good. Our chihuahuas and rottie are the same way. New clothes and baths bring out their 😊🙃.
NOW I understand why many say you should have a pet before children. Oh it's not like I've never prepared my siblings when they were tiny. They're decades younger than me.

Sad that I've dropped a date because of this
Not joking
Start reading this book for free: https://a.co/6X5P1Wy
"A tendency toward obsession was hardwired into his brain and would likely be his undoing if he couldn’t learn to outsmart it."
Think about it Now REALLY think over it.
Imagine if it's someone with the worst type of laugh out there who had a thing for comparing you to pron actors.
Note that you're an academic with high marks across the board.
Of course it drove me batty. As an athlete, bookworm, and engineering candidate -- it brought me down. That they believed they'd one up me in school when they were playing loads of video games on their own.
If it wasn't for my siblings i would've either booked to study at a UC or Cal Poly SLO.
OMG I'm not blaming my sisters for anything. They're everything to me.

Always thankful
Always yep. I'm not out there. Happy to be an engineer where our A/C is the server rooms & data centers.
My cousin's out in FL with her own company and is doing great. She's been working along with her beautiful daughter who picked up her mom's skills with cooking, gardening, beekeeping, home maintenance, and interior design.
It's a blessing that the cousin's in-laws are around to help keep everyone motivated. Oh, they have shade at their home too. That doesn't help when you're wearing a beekeeper outfit.
