He never remembers important dates but makes up for it with that crooked smile

After some time, he tells you about the years he worked with Tess, Bill, the fireflies (only occasionally he never trusted them)

He tells you about the deaths, the losses, the nights where he wakes up unable to breathe from panic or terror until he feels you beside him. Then he can calm down, and he does. Feeling like with you, with Ellie..he has a second chance in this life to be happy. Truly happy.
