Chapter 3 of Under Cover of Darkness is in the works...

“As do I,” Gabriel agreed, feeling a weight off his shoulders at this answer. He had been prepared to face more of a fight. “And with that settled I have only one question remaining…”

“And what might that be?”

“Why is your hand in my trousers?”

“Is that a complaint?” Henry queried, tentatively withdrawing the hand that had worked its way down Gabriel's chest and around to his back so that it could slip beneath the fabric of his trousers.

“Merely a question,” he was reassured by his companion, and hearing this he resumed the important task squeezing and caressing Gabriel's rear through the thin layer of his pants.

“Well I think you know the answer to that,” Henry went on. Now moving his hand around front to tease flesh that grew stiff under his touch.

“Harry–” Gabriel gasped, as much an expression of pleasure as it was concern. “It's the middle of the day…”

“And that means my house staff will all be either running errands or preparing dinner, or otherwise too busy to disturb us. Especially out here…”

From some alternate ending where Jekyll actually accepted Utterson's help...

Jekyll: Hypothetically speaking, if I committed a gruesome murder-

Utterson: Henry what did you do?!

Jekyll: Nothing! Weren't you listening? I said this is hypothetical.

Gabriel: You are, quite literally, covered in blood right now.

Jekyll: ...

Jekyll: Well, technically speaking I didn't kill anyone.

These are the ones I could find but I know I've got at least 2 other copies packed away with my old college textbooks. I may have a slight problem... Funniest part is I rarely buy other books. I prefer audiobooks to hard copies because they're easier for my ADHD brain. But every time I go into a bookstore I look for copies of J&H and if it's under $10 or an especially pretty one I'll buy it

Before the lawyer could offer protest he was pulled into a closet on the far side of the room, which from the sound of it was then locked behind.

“Harry, this is ridiculous--”

“Shhh!” Henry insisted.

“Why don't you simply tell Richard you're not fit to speak on matters of business?”

Admittedly that would have been the simpler choice. Perhaps it was the excitement of it, the way it reminded him of the mischief he pulled in his youth. Perhaps it was simply the effects of the gin clouding an otherwise brilliant mind. For whatever reason he had chosen this approach instead.
