Haunted House Renovation Show?

Okay yall I just had the most banger idea for a sitcom and I immediately thought “tumblr would love this shit” so here it is:

So it’s called ‘My Haunted House Flip’ or something HGTV-esque like that and it’s about this goofy gang of characters that work in this company that specializes in renovating haunted houses.

In the group there’s a catholic priest and an edgy paranormal nerd, who work together to expel evil from the homes. Then, there’s this big construction worker guy and his twink interior designer boyfriend who work on the physical transformations of these houses

I’m thinking maybe the first season is like a zany mockumentary comedy that starts to build up a little lore that becomes the main focus in season 2

And maybe the main villain is this cheapskate landlord that’s actually a demon or something like that

I dunno what do yall think should I maybe try and explore the concept

the way yall treat an Asian lesbian woman who made a few mistakes that were committed under a heavy weight of guilt, grief, trauma and conflicting emotions that were not nearly as comparable as the other crimes characters committed compared to a white man who used child labor for drugs, manipulated and took advantage of a child, also gassed the chembarons, filled the lanes with drugs that inherently killed and ruined more ppl's lives than caitlyn ever had, oppressed his own people, and all for his own benefit disgusts me.

arcane fandom has the most internalized misogynistic, lesbophobic, racist pieces of shits who try to play it off by spreading their performative activism thinking theyre making a good political change and statement by making hating a fictional character and anyone who likes this character their whole personality and calling the character and anyone who likes her racist, zenophobic, classist, fascist apologists, kkk cult members etc.

so was jayce and viktor but its two men so who cares! and technically so was jinx and ekko. Jinx worked with the man who oppressed the zaunites and ekko's ppl as well as he has said many times in the show abt all of the harm silco has done to zaun. Jinx also killed MANY of ekkos friends oh but wait its a straight ship so its okay for them to have that dynamic!

No she gassed the chembarons. yes the physics in arcane are different. yes the gas did not spread the same way it would irl. No you cannot suddenly want to bring realties logic into a fictional show that has hybrid furries that can live for hundreds to thousands of years, magical gemstones, and a boy who can turn back time to defend your unnecessary hatred for this character

-"Well she still gassed the chembarons who were zaunites and oppressed it doesnt matter if they were criminals they didnt deserve that!"

Criminals who were actively making zaun worse and Silco also gassed the chembarons when he was put in a position where he could lose power and control over them but wait, its a white man! Who cares am I right?

"Caitlyn abused and hurt vi so many times vi didnt deserve what cait did to her!"

oh so NOW yall care about vi and her trauma and the things ppl do to her after not acknowledging that jinx hurt her the same way if not even worse by joining the people who are the reason vander, mylo, claggor and all she had for a family are dead. Vi was constantly chasing down jinx, trying to find her and get back with the family she loved and had left even after everything jinx had done to her but jinx kept leaving her and making this poor woman continue to chase after her. But nah, its not like theyre a lesbian ship so we dont have to acknowledge theyre toxic and abusive.

Says the ones who make KKK jokes, draw Caitlyn's Asian features in an over exaggerated and racist way and if its not that its straight up denying her being part Asian, and doing the mental Olympics to defend all the white terrorists and criminals in the show.

delusional ass bitches there are places that need employers but instead yall are wasting your brain by pretending this FICTIONAL NOT REAL character has somehow actually oppressed and physically harmed you

edit: This is not to shade any of the other characters. I love all of the characters in arcane yes including silco but Im not gonna pretend like they did nothing wrong and dont deserve criticism for their actions as well

Arcane Characters as First Responders (Pt. 3)

You already know what it isssss

Ekko: Community Paramedic

-specializes in serving underprivileged areas with less access to healthcare

-is somewhat of a local legend to the communities he serves and befriends so many people

-they pay him back in casseroles and pies and other dishes— he had to buy a deep freezer to store all of the food people gave him

-has a frenemy relationship with a street cat named Priscilla who follows him around

-Always manages to lose, break or misplace at least 1 item in his kit per week and has to borrow from Viktor’s unit

Sevika: School Security

-hear me out on this one guys

-she used to be a firefighter but after getting injured on the line of duty, (arm), she accepted a position as school security

-She’s pretty lenient as far as most concerns go (skipping class, light drugs, etc.), but she’ll pull a kid aside if she notices that they’re starting to go down a rough path

-Takes bullying extremely seriously and shuts that shit down ASAP

-Because of this she develops like a weird fan club consisting of emo kids and nerds and other social rejects

-Lets kids come to her office and vent without judgement, causing the school counselors to get upset (they’re just mad that the kids feel safer with her)

Ambessa: Police Captain

-Big Captain Holt energy

- Caitlyn is her favorite, but she’s also very tough on her

-Spends like 30 minutes in the mirror every morning making sure not a hair is out of place on her uniform

-Tries really hard to initiate water cooler conversation (ends up just scaring people away)

-The K9s are her precious babies that she spoils to no end

-Bodycam stays off (which is why she mostly stays at the precinct unless there’s an emergency) (yikes)

Arcane Characters as First Responders (Pt. 2- the Hextech Trio)

What the title says. If you haven’t seen it go check out my part 1 as well.

Jayce: Firefighter

-Went into the CPAT completely blind because he was “in pretty good shape”. Was unaware of how much cardio there would be and passed with 30 seconds to spare

-Invested in a treadmill after that (lesson learned)

-Would be on the cover and half of the pages of the annual firefighter fundraiser calendar

-This reference is niche but he gives me Ricky Matsui vibes (iykyk)

-Best friends with the station’s Dalmatian, ‘Fritz’.

Viktor: Paramedic

-Would be scarily calm in the most horrific situations

-Like someone has intracranial hemorrhaging and he’s just like “Oh, well that’s not ideal…”

-Not great at comforting people, he leaves that to his EMTs, but excellent at crisis medicine

-He doesn’t have a CPR song, just dissociates until someone volunteers to take over

-Is it numbness due to trauma, or is it autism? Who knows. Probably both tho.

Mel: Dispatch

-Doesn’t have an eerie calmness like Viktor does, per se, but is able to treat nightmarish events like inconveniences

-“A 14 car pileup, you say? Oh dear. That’s a lot.”

-Her soothing voice has a way of calming people down to get information quicker

-Loves using the classic line of telling people ‘911’ when they ask for her number

-Has wine with Caitlyn on Friday nights where they debrief about all the scary shit from that week in their respective jobs

Arcane Characters as First Responders

As a (hopeful) future firefighter myself, here’s my take on the positions these folks would fulfill on the line of duty:

Vi: EMT

- Affinity for helping others

- Has the patience but also firmness to deal with difficult patients

- Wouldn’t do any of the advanced paramedic crap, not because she can’t, but because she’s just worried about keeping ‘em alive and letting the hospital handle it

- Go-to CPR song is definitely either Bad Romance or Under Pressure

-HATESSS writing reports- “I didn’t train my ass off to fill out paperwork”

Caitlyn: Police Detective

- I mean, duh.

-The other officers at the precinct thinks she’s a stuck-up jerk

-And they’re right

-But she’s the one you call when you need shit to get done

-Has a love/hate relationship with the K9s (she’s not a dog person in my mind)

-Also in this AU, VI’s nickname for her would be ‘donuts’

Jinx: Fire Engineer:

-Speed limits? Nah, speed minimums.

-Absolutely LOVES the sound of the sirens

-Talks to the truck while doing her maintenance (probably has a name for it too)

-But you bet your ass that’s the best kept fire truck you’ll ever see

-Loves going to schools and giving kids a tour of the truck and doing safety presentations
