NBPD and ex religious culture is being so done with this one youtuber i watch, he makes ex-religion videos and he uses and believes in a lot of pop psychology stuff about npd which is a real shame because he genuinely has actually helpful content that’s well intentioned, it’s also a reason why i wrote literally six paragraphs explaining why him using narcissist (and other ableist terms) as a insult is bad but I’m really tired of waiting for him to see it. I guess I’m back to being on my own now because his channel was one of the few channels (of the religion i left) that doesn’t have pro genocide/zionist views. Idk how to feel

Thank you, we appreciate it. ❤️ It's nothing anyone really needs to worry about. It was only one comment, and then one anonymous ask. We just wanted to shut it down before it could evolve into more.

Also, to be honest we are catastrophizing because of personal issues affecting our life. We are in a downward spiral, unfortunately, so every little issue to us feels bigger than it actually is. We're hoping by focusing on this blog and the people supporting us, we can have a bit of a distraction from everything else that's going wrong.

Also, yea. Very, very relatable for us. We have issues accepting that we just sometimes just don't click with people. We rarely have typical "delusions of grandeur." Our grandiose thoughts are more attributed to our morality, sort of?

We generally kind of devalue everyone by default and believe we are better than everyone else. I think because we have encountered a lot of genuinely awful people along with abuse. And we get supply off of activism, and also seeing people behave awfully. Because it just proves to us. We aren't like them. We're better. I'm a perfect little angel 👉👈

Ungood morning, we only had 4 hours of sleep before waking up feeling like I'm going to throw up. We've been splitting on my now ex and completely crashing. They lied to me and led me on.

I was vulnerable, and I really truly loved them, and I opened up. We were led on for 4 months. We've known them for years as well. And they dumped me over text and told us they saw me only as a sibling. I'm pissed. I'm heartbroken. And I feel like we were taken advantage of. We were used as a fucking pity project. We were only dated out of pity.

And to make matters worse, they fucking pressured our also now ex girlfriend to also date me! And she never liked us at all either! Which we could have guessed, and she made it abundantly clear she didn't love me like that, but she was willing to try. We appreciate her for it and for being honest with us.

On the bright side... we got a really good friend out of this who we can bitch about our ex with, and enact punishment against... Because she lives with them! And she's fucking pissed at them too!

We have implemented a new rule, but it should have gone without saying: Submissions attempting to incite drama will be blocked and ignored.

Additionally, we will get to the actual submissions that were sent to us as soon as we can. We are very low the emotional energy, as we are mentally unstable due to personal life events, one of them including the breakup we had previously mentioned. Although, I think it may help us to take our mind off of it...

This is a /genq bc I wanna he well informed :3 but when you say nbpd is it a subset of bpd? Or is it having both NPD and BPD? I def could be wrong but I thought you could only have one cluster b disorder. I’m so sorry if this came off as rude :(

Hi! NBPD is not a subset of BPD. It is a combination of having both NPD and BPD. You can be diagnosed with more than one cluster b disorder, along with personality disorders from other categories! I was personally diagnosed with both NPD and BPD, along with a cluster c disorder, AVPD.

People within each personality disorder cluster may have comorbidities with other disorders within their cluster and be diagnosed with more than one. It is also possible to be in more than one personality disorder cluster.

Here's a Mayo Clinic article on PD's (link). It's a bit bare bones, but I think it summarizes well and they're known for being unbiased and factual in their articles, usually!

Apologies if I worded anything weird, or if my response seems a little dry. I'm currently going through a breakup as of writing this and probably should have waited but I really need to stop thinking about it right now.
