Sokka couldn't abandon his father when the invasion failed. It was his plan after all, his failure. If the ship was sinking Sokka would go down with it. He needed to prove himself. Katara is a wreck. Second day of @spirit-detective-files Hiei Week 🦇

One of my recent creations— a spirit doll embodying nurturance, grounding, connection, and serenity. Obviously I love dolls making, but there’s something about spirit dolls that tap into a more primal-emotional space. Spirit dolls are a playground for personal exploration, self-connection, and self-compassion. As a witch and art therapist (in training) I love the symbolism inherent in doll making: a mirror for self, a journey of change and acceptance.

I did this as part of my private magic and art practice, but I also led my fellow art therapy students through making spirit dolls as a therapeutic group experiential. It was such a beautiful, magical process to witness both their creativity and how grounded they became during the process. I just wanted to share in hopes that maybe others find this therapeutic or perhaps incorporate doll making into their magical practice. It’s a very special experience.
