something i've noticed. people seem to think the most nature-y nature is forests. so forests are always prioritized for conservation, and planting trees is synonymous with ecological activism. my state was largely prairies and wetlands before colonization. those ecosystems are important too. trees aren't the end-all be-all of environmentalism. plant native grasses. protect your wetlands.
Yes the fact that Byleth sees Dimitri at his lowest and not only takes his hand and leads him out of the darkness and inspires him to become the king she always saw in him, but loves him in spite of his belief that he is unloveable, is absolutely beautiful and makes me want to weep, but can we also talk about how Dimitri sees this woman, whose own father didn’t really know what to do with her, who has always only been valued—by those she worked for, by those she worked with, by her students, even by her peers—for what she could do with a sword, this woman whose only form of self-worth has come from her identity as a weapon—and he calls her beloved. CAN WE TALK ABOUT THAT
here are those valentines drawing and how they have evolved so far (not a lot as you can see). i ended up sketching a new yurileth, the second places for the non-character-specific polls too (ferdibert, marihilda, netteflix) + claurenz cause that's a scene i've written in one of those fics i wrote for my own enjoyment (not a claurenz fic, more of a claude diary in fódlan or something)
I love how Bruce tells Duke to guard the Cave & Duke goes "Yes, sir. You got it. Not a single goddamm person is getting into this Cave." Like he takes it so seriously that when the GREEN LANTERN shows up, Duke doesn't think "Hm. He probably has a good reason for being here. Maybe I should ask him?"
I've been resource gathering for YEARS so now I am going to share my dragons hoard
