Jeongin is finally up to his midterm exam, paying no mind to the test as he thinks of Hyunjin, though things quickly go downhill- from the fear of failing a test, to the fear of being eaten by feral creatures.

Jeongin is forced to endure a real life zombie apocalypse within the walls of his high school, with the help of other students, and being held back by his ever growing guilt of his classmate...

Minho on the other hand is forced to team up with individuals he'd rather have dead, pushing through in the basements of the school.

Decided to just add the fanfic description instead of some of the first paragraphs- Let's see how that goes! ATTENTION ALL AO3 AUTHORS

If you are not already aware, a user by the name of nyuuzyou has posted every AO3 work numbered 1 through 63200000 that was not archive locked to the AI website Hugging Face in a public dataset. This means every work published as of March of this year that isn’t archive-locked is in that dataset.

I strongly advise going to nyuuzyou’s archiveofourown dataset on Huggingface.co and creating a discussion thread reporting the work IDs of your fics to have them taken out of the dataset. As of writing this, 16 discussion threads have been opened, 14 of which are copyright infringement claims from authors, one of which is my own claim.

This dataset has already been an attempted takedown by HF staff, but nyuuzyou filed a counterclaim and the dataset went back up.

Let’s show this AI data scraper who they’re messing with.

Fanfic is a free hobby.

It's one of the last few things we can have as a society that's free. You can engage, for free. People give you things (art, stories, etc), for free.

Don't buy into the consummerism just because it's everywhere else.

You don't have to consume everything you interact with. You don't have to use things, just because they exist.

You're allowed (still, for now), to have things that are enjoyable for free.

Do you realise how insane the world is? We don't have many places where we can just be, for free anymore, but ao3 is. Did you notice we don't have ads in ao3? We don't have pop ups? Where ELSE do we not have that?

Where else can you just go and not have to wait for a commercial to be over or for ads to be on the sidelines?

I don't think the younger people understand, but the whole of internet used to be like this. YouTubers would do Youtube for free, just because. You couldn't monetise your internet presence before.

Ao3 is like a little preserved corner of the internet where the old internet used to be, and it's being attacked by people who do not understand that free things are allowed to exist without judgment.

Please don't ruin this for us.
