UNDYING 🌘✨

I created this illustration in honor of Reita—the bassist of one of my favorite bands of all time—who sadly passed away a week ago. Being a fan of the GazettE for over 15 years now fills me with a pride I could never put into words. This band has been with me through my most difficult times and Reita has always been a source of comfort, excitement, tears, and laughter for me.

I feel so blessed that I had the opportunity to see them live in 2016, shake Reita’s and the rest of the members’ hands, and tell Reita how thankful I am for everything they’ve done for me face-to-face. Your memory will live on for an eternity, Reita 🩵 Fly high, our precious rocker. You’re the best bassist in the world and the GazettE, the imprint you’ve left on the rock community, and your spirit will never die 🤟🏻

Perfumed Eve 🌿🦋 My new illustration of my original character named Khadija! She’s a gentle woman with a heart of gold and quite the green thumb. She loves baking pasteries for her girlfriend and owns a plant and flower shop in her home city ✨ Khadija is part of my original story “Violet Ties” that I’ve been working on for a long time!

Eat at the Baratie! 🍳✨ Ummm so I might be obsessed!! Sanji has been my all-time favorite One Piece character ever since I was a little kid watching it on 4Kidz and Toonami, so seeing Taz Skylar‘s portrayal of him in the Netflix live action was an absolute DREAM. Just had to paint this anatomy study illustration of him with some of my fave looks!

Summer’s Kiss 🌿🦆 Combined two photo studies together to make this lil piece! All this rain lately has been making it feel closer to fall (minus the cool air that I’m desperate for lol), so I painted this in the hopes that we'll get a less rainy summer!

Find the Flame 🔥✨ Finally finished this Final Fantasy XVI illustration!! It’s pretty spoiler free, so anyone who hasn’t finished it yet is safe LOL I wanted to incorporate as many elements as I could from all my favorite characters 💎 Dion’s flowers, phoenix feathers, Cid and Clive’s oath for their shared dream, and of course our precious Torgal!

This illustration symbolizes the relationship I have with art. How on one hand it’s this passionate, warm entity in my life that I love, but on the other hand it’s scalding hot and leaves me feeling hollow at times due to burn out. I hope it resonates with any other creators who may feel the same! 💙

🍒 He’s serving gender ✨ The amount of gender envy I got from Yeonjun’s recent skirt photos gave me the perfect excuse to do these anatomy and clothing fold studies of him! It’s also my first time painting him, so I had a lot of fun exploring how I can incorporate stylization into my study. Boys in skirts and crop tops are literally my favorite thing in existence and I’m just awaiting the day we see him in a Miu Miu mini skirt 🥰

🫐 Spring Berry 🌿 A little blueberry study from a photo ✨ First time doing the Pantone painting challenge and !!!! I absolutely loved working on these postcards! The gouache paint glided on it so well and I’m super happy with how it turned out 😭💙
