508 posts
Hi, welcome to my blog! In this blog, I will post polls for the LGBTQIA+ community. Everyone is allowed to submit polls and/or posts and there basically are no off-limit questions as long as they don't invade anyone's privacy. Please be respectful towards all people, disrespecting anyone won't be tolerated. Pedophiles, TERFs, homo-/transphobes, racists, nazis and other disrespectful people can fuck offA little bit about me:I'm Jamie, she/her, German but I speak English, I'm a lesbianDMs are open for everyone. You can dm to just talk, ask a question privately or for whatever other reason

I'm out and i love pride

hello! I'm conducting an anonymous survey for a research project on the effect of disability on sexuality. I'm hoping to get as many responses as possible, I'd really appreciate if you could boost the survey :)

Sure thing, go check out this survey if you're 18 or older

The israeli poll... are you fr? 😔 ffs
Since there is no Israeli poll, I assume you talk about the Holocaust poll.
The Holocaust got nothing to do with Israel and Israel's government, the Holocaust was the persecution of Jewish people under the Nazis, Israel was founded as a result to Jews not being welcome anywhere after WW2.
The Jews that had to live through the terror of the Nazis and survived it are mostly dead by now and are no threat to Palestine in any way. These people know what it's like when the whole world's against you, they don't support Israel's government (link below shows a good example).
Also, it's antisemitism if you assume that every Jewish person supports Israel's government. A lot of Jewish people think it's wrong and not even all Israelis support their government.
Please educate yourself on this topic because the Holocaust is one of the worst crimes, if not the worst, that was ever committed against humans and connecting it to Israel's government is wrong on so many levels.
I stand with Palestine but still, not every Jew and not every Israeli is the bad guy, don't talk about them like you do about those who actually want to see all those Palestinians dead.

Asking this because I saw the other transandrophobia ask and I realized I define it very differently from the asker 😅 (no hate to them!) so I decided to ask this!
Poll: What do you understand transandrophobia as?
> the demonization of trans and/or queer (percieved) masculinity
> intersection between the trans experience and the masculine/man/male minority experience
> male stereotypes that benefit men in power used to harm minority men / percieved men
> all of the above (but not below)
> a unique type of oppression that only trans men / trans mascs experience
> I do not understand transandrophobia as a concept
> other
Note: * experience
** percieved men

Some extra clarification:
a-spec is short for anattractional spectrum and includes the aromantic and asexual spectrums (among others).
Anyone can answer this poll — you don’t have to be a-spec. Pick the first (highest up) answer that applies.
Option 2 means you yourself haven’t been told this, but you’ve witnessed others saying things like it first hand. This might mean someone else was the target of the comment, or the comment was directed at a large group (i.e. a-spec people as a whole) and not a particular person.
In my experience these sorts of comments come from (misguided) allo folks struggling with their relationships or feelings and lamenting that you / a-spec people are lucky because you don’t have to deal with the kind of difficulties they’re having (i.e. breakups, unrequited feelings, etc.)

Not sure if I’m stuck in an echo chamber or not so I’m curious what the actual community opinion on this is:
In your opinion, is transandrophobia/transmisandry a legitimate form of oppression?
(The above being defined as a type of discrimination unique to trans men and transmasculine individuals)
Yes(Transmasc)
no(Transmasc)
yes(transfem)
no(transfem)
yes(other kind of trans)
no(other kind of trans)
yes(cis)
no(cis)

Can fags say dyke?
Yes (not a dyke)
Yes (dyke)
No (not a dyke)
No (dyke)
I received this poll idea today and I won't do this one due to the offensive wording (no offense to the person who requested this, I'm sure they didn't mean it like that, if they reword it, I have no problem with this idea). I hope not posting this one is fine with y'all
