Lord Lucifer ✶⋆.˚

O, Lucifer, bearer of light and knowledge, I seek the path of understanding. Grant me the courage to face my innershadows, the strength to rise above limitations, and the wisdom to embrace my truth.
In your light, I find my resolve. In your fire, I find transformation. Guide me to see the beauty in my struggles and the strength in my independence.
May I walk boldly in the dark and carry your flame of wisdom within.
So be it.

the entire argument of men being oppressed under patriarchy due to them being expected to be strong and assertive is so easily debunked when you realize that they’re not expected to be that way, they’re just automatically assumed to be. women under patriarchy are forced into proving their submission and sensuality through subscribing to the lifestyle meanwhile even the most meek men are simply assumed to be smarter and better as leaders simply due to their sex. masculine stereotypes are not oppression, they’re privilege.

"Anything other than medical and surgical transition on demand is conversion therapy" does not make sense if you're understanding gender dysphoria/GID as a disorder.
If it's a disorder, then you should want people to try less expensive, less invasive, less dangerous treatments. You should want those to be the first line of treatment. You should want more research into those kinds of interventions. Because that would actually be better for people who suffer from the disorder.
If it's not a disorder, then your transition is entirely elective and you have no standing to demand healthcare coverage or public and social accommodations for gender affirmation.
It can't be both.

Ah yes, the old "If women don't have penetrative sex, their vaginas close up and they need to dilate JUST LIKE TRANS DO" argument
Women in their 50s sometimes need to dilate and take hormones because they are going through menopause, which can cause shrinkage due to atrophy. NOT because they haven't been having enough penetrative sex. Not because their vaginas are "unused". Otherwise our vaginas would "close up" during childhood, or close up because we choose celibacy.

“Some of the old goddess tales were twisted to suit the takeover of male powers, in order to win converts to their new gods. For example, Pandora (All-Gifts) was originally a Great Mother Goddess, whose box (womb, cauldron, cave, cup) was a reservoir of beauty and life-sustaining gifts. Patriarchal myth tells us that Her box contained all manner of destructive demons, which once unleashed upon the world, brought evil and suffering to all. Eve was also a Mother Goddess, whose tree was the Tree of Life. The serpent was her own sensual wisdom, and the apple was her sacred fruit. Athene, whom we are told was born fully grown out of the head of Zeus, dressed in armor and ready for war, was originally the daughter of the matriarchal goddess Metis. (Meter, method, measure, matter, mother…) Both mother and daughter were worshipped by the Amazons at Lake Triton, and were born parthenogenetically—without sperm.”
This quote was taken from the book, Ariadne’s Thread A Workbook of Goddess Magic by Shekhinah Mountainwater. The quote comes from the Myth-Making section of Cycle 1 on page 26.
Reading about the true origins of Pandora, Eve, and Athene (female mythical figures we’ve all heard about and seen in popular media) is cathartic. My heart is filled with joy!

It was a sunny morning and I went to the lake to see the bright autumn colours, but as I got near I entered a wall of fog so thick it felt like I was driving off the edge of the world into nothingness.
Tumblr media
At the lake there were no colours at all, no shapes either, only pure introspective silence, so instead of walking I just sat here.
Tumblr media
After you've looked at fog long enough seeing objects feels oddly demanding, like something you're actively doing. The fog dissipated slowly and reluctantly so at first some colours and shapes would appear, surrounded by misty emptiness. I felt a bit like a plant being offered a glimpse into animal consciousness, to see what the fuss is about.
