I have learned. I have been enlightened. You don't need gender dysphoria to be trans, you need gender incongruence. I've been saying that you need gender dysphoria to be trans but you don't have to hate yourself, but I was unaware that there was a term that goes with that definition. hi I'm a transcentralist but I lean transmed so here's this

“Transmed is a sugarcoated term for transphobe”

is a funny idea because it’s wrong in every way it can be.

Transmed is a term coined by- im not sure but if that’s your main arguement for your anti-transmedicalism-centric beliefs then you’re already too far gone- for the belief that a diagnosis of dysphoria, no matter how severe, is a required factor for transgenderism. The other required factors for transgenderism include none that’s it. In addition, the “other factors” that are routinely brought up out of mid air in opposition of transmedicalism are actually either completely cohesive with the diagnosis of dysphoria or exist mainly for decoration in an attempt to negatively stigmatize transmedicalism and are always, if not almost always hollow. (Tldr: transmeds believe that you need dysphoria to be trans and arguements against that either just further prove it, or carry zero weight and are fruitless attempts at anything at all)

Transmedicalism (more often than not) aims to ultimately protect transsexualism from becoming so surrounded by incorrect/corrupt stigma that it becomes harder for actual trans people to get the appropriate medical care and be able to live normal and healthy lives.

Transmedicalism is viewed as exclusionary because it practices the basic idea that there is a certain criteria you have to meet in order to fit a definition (tldr: it understands that words have meaning)

Transmedicalism doesn’t adhere to

The harm or death of anyone who doesn’t align with transmedicalist beliefs

The harm or death of anyone at all

Transmedicalists are all ages and not exclusively trans people (tldr: you dont have to be trans or a certain age in order to have common sense)

Transmedicalism is intended to protect everyone, from those who end up detransitioning, those who are trans but have trouble accepting that, who are trans and have fully accepted it, those who rejected transmedicalism in the past but are starting to or have found themselves aligning with us, all the way to anyone in the lgbt community who has been harmed by modern trans rights activists who push more of an agenda than any sort of belief.

Transmedicalists who are violent towards anyone with opposing beliefs aren’t coddled by anyone in the community and dont get special passes because they’re transmedicalists.

Nobody gets passes, nobody gets held above anyone else. If transmedicalism is insulting or offending to you for merely existing, then that’s your own problem, but your insecurities should not be projected onto anyone who just wants to see trans people safe by the means of transmedicalism. (Tldr: transmedicalism is the opposite of transphobia. Learn to get over yourself)

to AFAB ppl with chest dysphoria

do not sleep with a binder on!!! I know dysphoria can sometimes suck when ur boutta sleep, but your health is very important. instead of sleeping with ur binder on, try using one of those stuffed animal backpacks.

they're really soft and nice to cuddle. I recommend the brand unipak .

so the way you should use it when ur gonna sleep is easy, just wear it backwards. this works pretty good in any sleeping position but I find it most effective when laying on ur stomach.

they're usually not that expensive either (at least I don't think they are but I don't remember how much mine was, sorry)

also, if you put ur binder on immediately in the morning, you can store ur binder in the pocket of the backpack.

- You don't have to hate yourself to have gender dysphoria, you need a disconnect between your AGAB and your gender identity (EDIT: THIS IS GENDER INCONGRUENCE, WHICH I CONFUSED FOR DYSPHORIA) (EDIT 2: OK MAYBE IM TRIPPING HOLD ON)

- you can be a gnc trans person!! (feminine trans guy or masculine trans girl or feminine/masculine nonbinary person!)

- You don't have to transition medically to be a valid transgender person

- You can't have gender euphoria without gender dysphoria

- Nonbinary people are valid and they are transgender

- The full acronym is LGBT (the t includes binary and nonbinary transgender people)

- Asexual and aromantic people are hella valid but not inherently LGBT

- Queer is a slur but you can reclaim it if you're LGBT, but don't call someone queer unless their okay with it.

- There is no need for a Cishet pride

- Neopronouns aren't valid (but if I'm debating a topic with you and you use Neopronouns I'll do my best to call you those pronouns)

- They/them pronouns are grammatically correct and valid

- Bisexual includes nonbinary people

- Bisexual and Pansexual are very similar and possibly even the same thing

- Saying you're pansexual because you like transgender people is transphobic

- Bisexuality includes trans people!!!

- Having genital preferences for your partner isn't transphobic (idk if this sentence makes sense)

- Intersex people aren't LGBT, Intersex is something you are born as
