I don't think that Gotham and Metropolis have to be literally across the bay from each other, but if they are, we need to exploit the comic potential of that more.

He has the expierience of taking care of babies since he was months old teenager (hello Superboy 1994 run) and he was a good dad to his stepdaughter, little baby Martha.

It would make for a great drama with his conflicted feelings towards being a clone and how it would that affect his child.

This baby would have so many unhinged aunts and uncles and you can bet former young justice crew would try to help with taking care of them which would only result in an entertaining disaster.
