Honestly, it’s been really nice not drawing when I also have a toddler to look after all the time along with cleaning and cooking. 😅 In a way, it’s surprising how little I think about drawing. But when I do think about it, I get sad and really miss it. I’m gonna do better this year, and hopefully have my husband or his family watch her for a bit on Thursday’s maybe so I can get some drawing done! I think it will help to have a dedicated day/time. Maybe Wednesdays could be my idea day and Thursdays could be my drawing day?

As for my Etsy, since I’m from the US but living in Australia, the US is one of the only places that makes their citizens living abroad file taxes. So that makes things a bit more complicated for me but I’ll try to also figure that out this year. 😅

Whenever I do get my iPad out, it’s dead from not using it lol and my daughter will see it and go “POP POP POP” because there’s a bubble game on there that we let her play sometimes…. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Anyways, thank you guys for sticking with me and hopefully I can make a bit more time for art this year!

Healing isn’t linear. You will have bad days and good days, no matter if you’re grieving, learning self love, or trying to deal with trauma. Be gentle with yourself.

On another note, as I’m sure you guys can see from my lack of posting, I’m really struggling with being a stay at home mom and also managing to post/make art. It’s a really strange feeling, a lot of the time I don’t even want to make art because I’m so tired and if I do get free time, I would much rather watch TV or play a video game. But another part of me misses art and misses how well my art was doing before having a baby. Anyways, my husband said he’ll try to make more time for me to do art, so hopefully you’ll be seeing more of me. I love my frog comics but I would love to work on non-frog art as well! I miss you guys. 😞
