One of those goofy maid animes, except the viewpoint character isn't the hapless master or mistress of the house, but a regular-ass janitor who ended up on this crew due to a paperwork mixup at the temp agency and can't figure out what the fuck is wrong with her co-workers.

Hello again! This time it's not about Batman, it's about one of my other projects because I've been working on it.
This project is called Fractured Planet! Which is a working title as well, but definitely more final than Dark Nights. It is a blend of sci-fi and fantasy as a post-post apocalypse story where magic and sci-fi are one in the same yet also intrinsically different.
The premise is that a Year 10,000 sci-fi world that was similar to but very different from Earth discovered Dark Anti-Matter, a substance that is the Anti-Matter of Dark Matter and shares properties of both. A form of matter that is nigh untraceable, doesn't follow most universal laws, and explodes into energy upon contact with many forms of matter (+ Dark Energy especially).
With equipment already made to contain Antimatter, they quickly used this resource for experimentation. This led to a discovery; The energy produced by the Dark Antimatter collisions was unlike anything ever even theorized. It could be shaped into almost anything and seemingly played with fundamental concepts like a potter would with clay. This very energy, later referred to as "Mana", is what would lead to Magick.
Eventually, the Great Fracture occurred. This was caused by a battle where too many combatants used too much unstable Dark Antimatter all at once, and the energy began slowly destroying and unraveling the planet as they knew it. This very planet destroying energy was also what was used to save it.
Rather than try to cleanse the world of all the energy and hope the planet fixes itself, they set up pathways of the energy through every fractured section of the planet, called the "Dark Antimatter Flow", which allowed the energy to stably flow through fractured pieces. This caused the fractured regions to stay in the same planetary orbit and rotation, while the regions themselves were staying locked inside the atmosphere, but not locked to each other.
Dark Antimatter replenishes itself by making contact with Dark Energy. Much like Antimatter explodes on contact with Matter, Dark Antimatter explodes on contact with Dark Energy. This results in the Dark Antimatter constantly replenishing within the world by consuming Dark Energy, though it also makes it incredibly difficult to enter or leave the planet as it creates an accretion disk surrounding the shattered planet, as well as making it the only place in the entire universe that is nearly devoid of Dark Energy.
This is where we bridge the gap between the Sci-fi and Fantasy parts of this world.
Initially, all surviving creatures were slowly driven mad or destroyed by the world's deep saturation of Dark Antimatter, as the world simply wasn't evolved to handle such an intense energy. This slowly drove the sapient races to be little more than animals, as the last of the surviving sapient races did their best to make things that would last and help their hopefully prosperous descendants.
For millions of years, these species devolved mentally while evolving physically, leading to incredibly powerful beings with minimal mental faculties.
Eventually though, the beings on the Fractured Planet that survived both the apocalypse and the Dark Antimatter Flow adjusted to the intense pervasive presence of the energy by evolving their own internal pathways similar to the Dark Antimatter Flow.
These internal pathways could contain and use this energy, allowing not only supernatural bodies and abilities, but for the world and creatures upon it to affect the very energy itself, stabilizing the chaotic energy and allowing it to coexist with the world. The stabilization and naturalization of Dark Antimatter, something not meant to exist and made whole at the cost of an entire world, allowed the energy to still retain all it's traits while not simply just exploding on contact with most matter.
This means that when the newly evolved races reached a point where their internal systems could not only contain and subsist off of Dark Antimatter but release it, miracles occurred. Before more complex forms of use came into being, primitive creatures that were Dark Antimatter Capable used this to biologically develop enhancements and grow natural traits that use the energy,
These traits grew more complex and varied over two hundred million years, at a rate much more rapid than traditional evolution. Relatively rapid evolution remains a consistent feature of all Dark Antimatter species, in both the Magickal and mundane senses, with the more Dark Antimatter a being has leading to even more rapid evolution.
After Sapient creatures evolved once more, it soon became clear to them that the energy could be controlled by the living being of which it was formerly contained in, or dispersed harmlessly if nothing is done. It can also be simply detonated as well if the releaser is not careful or intends to do so.
Different methodologies of using Dark Antimatter Release (Commonly referred to as Magick) sprouted on each Region of the planet. These practices eventually spread and, through repetitive primitive use over millions of years, affected the Dark Antimatter Flow that keeps the planet intact.
This caused the types of Magick native to each Realm to be supported by the Realm itself, making that Magick much more powerful and easier to control while within it's native Realm.
This roughly leads us to the "modern" era, though I skipped a LOT of details to get there. But we can get to that later, because this is already a very long post. I hope y'all enjoy this!

Dick Grayson logo! I wanted it to be a little different from his outfit logo, and I always felt that the canon logo was a little too militaristic.
Honestly, the thought process behind this one was mostly just "I want it to look more in-line style is" and "Make it look cool & bird-y". There's only one bit of symbolism here: The ears have a soft curve but are still just as sharp, showing how he presents himself as a lot more friendly but is equally if not more dangerous than Bruce.
To make up for the lack of Logo details, I'll share an extra tidbit about the story relating to Dick.
Dick Grayson is very much married to Kori and only her in this, no romance with Barbara what-so-ever, and they have kids earlier than expected due to not realizing they could.
At 22, Dick and Kori have twin girls: Mar'i & Elainna Grayson. Both are taken from the comics relatively directly, though as far as I can tell them both existing at the same time is fully my own invention (at least compared to canon).
For extra gut punch, these two are born very shortly before Jason dies. This was actually fully a coincidence during the timeline creation (which has a first draft, but is NOT solid yet), but once I realized they lined up I had to lean into it.
I am doing very very very fun things with Jason's death and return, and it is a radical but in my opinion really good. A big part of that is covering the people left, and Dick being a new parent while mourning Jason AND struggling to keep Bruce afloat is a big part of why he matures a lot between the early phases and later phases, due to the stress of doing all of this for a year or two.

Alright, so I’ve been working on this since October and I’m finally done. I present to you:
THE WORLD OF POKÉMON
I have gathered (almost) every single Region and Town ever featured or mentioned on the main series games, side games, anime, manga, TCG and even scrapped content!
I took some creative liberties, like using the Beta maps for Pasio and Southern Kalos, placing ambiguously located anime towns where I thought they fit best, reorganizing the scrapped Space World demo cities, and most importantly, assuming Ransei is the Pokemon equivalent of Japan, when it is not in canon. But otherwise I tried to be as faithful as possible. You are free to ask about any choices made!
You are also free to use these maps however you see fit as long as you keep my signature and you credit me. (If you make another map based on this one, credit would be nice, but it isn’t strictly necessary)
Hope this is a useful resource or that at least you have fun looking at it!

Hello! I have not been posting because I keep forgetting. I'll probably post the next Bat logo in a bit, but for now I'll share how the Robin lineage starts in my project!
For a little necessary context, in my project nobody becomes a Vigilante until they're 16 (Bruce wanted 18 but Dick is stubborn and the rest of the bats are clever enough to argue for a standard age once Dick sets it), because anything else is child abuse and I really can't imagine Bruce or Alfred allowing that to happen. Before becoming proper vigilantes at 16, they receive training if they desire.
Anyways, point is this revolves around a 19yo Dick who is still Robin as it's his title but has left Gotham to do cross-country Vigilante shit, and has/is setting the Titans up with other young heroes he meets.
Dick was upset at Bruce pretty much coddling him for 3 whole years as well as being unable to separate their home life and Vigilante life, exacerbated as opposed to canon due to him being more trained and older. I haven't decided what exactly was the final straw, but it doesn't matter too much since it was a final straw and not a major singular breaking point.
So when Dick, angry at Bruce but finding himself, heard he had taken in another kid, he both panicked a little and was severely pissed that Bruce would take in another kid when he hasn't even made it up to his first one yet.
So, TLDR, Dick kidnaps a Preteen Jason to take him on a cross country Road Trip. They evade Batman for about 2 months, both as an act of spite from Dick and him showing off that he's very competent without Batman's help and even against him.
A lot of this is accomplished by Dick calling in his new friends to delay Bruce under the guise of a training exercise which leads them to think he's just super intense, and he doesn't hurt them for obvious reasons but he IS super severe the whole time so he doesn't exactly disillusion them of that notion.
Anyways, long story short Dick has a lot of heart to hearts with Jason over those 2 months, and comes to terms with being an older sibling a lot sooner than in Canon (because he's not as fucked up from trauma), and decides to train Jason as a Vigilante after realizing he's practically destined to be one.
Dick hands over the title of Robin to Jason, telling him that it's his family's name and practically adopting Jason then and there. Jason is very touched by this, because he's more than smart enough to understand the connotations, and gives Dick a name as well- Nightwing.
(The explanation I'm going for here is that it's a folk legend basically in Crime Alley about a dark hero who would save children, because this is a Batman project and the JL doesn't exist yet so Superman cant exactly have too much interaction with Dick yet. The explanation could be a time travelling super in Gotham or something, haven't settled yet, but I really wanted the narrative of the first two Robins trading names).
This is also the mini arc where Starfire is introduced, since I really like the idea of allowing Dick and Jason to do their first team up on this trip, and it sets up Starfire being basically a step-sister to Jason (Inspired by but greatly deviating from Outlaws), and of course her joining the Titans and eventually marrying Dick.
I really love this solution to the Robin lineage, since it lets the characters breathe and bond while still staying relatively faithful to their relationships and characters, but also allowing Dick to choose who gets to be Robin- because it's his title to bestow.

Kate's Symbol
Tumblr media
This, from the very beginning, is one of the biggest differences between my story and others: In this, Kate is a proper character and acts as Bruce's counter and balance.
She goes on his training journey with him, and comes back when they both become vigilantes. While I understand this is a very controversial change already, I also fully believe it makes sense and adds a lot more to the family values of the story rather than it being all about Bruce and only Bruce, plus Kate.. really doesn't have much going on in Canon. (I'm also changing her hero name, current working title is Hellbat but it's very open to change, because any variation of Batgirl or Batwoman just feels a bit demeaning)
To that end, Kate's symbol is opposite to Bruce's. Colorful where his is dark, flapping down where his is flapping up, tell where his is short, etc.
Beyond that, and the obvious allusion to her hair, the symbol is meant to look dangerous and menacing but protective. I'm very happy with this one in particular.
I should also clarify, most of this story is a lot more faithful with clean ups being mostly logical things, this is probably the single most drastic rewrite in the story.

As stated in my previous posts, I figured I should actually state my Dark Nights project!
I have many projects and will likely have to make a lot of these posts, but I don't mind. I should state up top that I currently work completely alone and have not set any deadlines, I work on my projects for fun. While I wouldn't be opposed to changing any of this in the future, don't expect frequent scheduled releases or anything.
That being said, Dark Nights (working title) is my take on a front to back Batman story starting from Bruce's early childhood all the way to what is effectively 'modern comics'.
I am attempting to honor both the comics and cartoons (but explicitly not the films) as much as possible while also syncretizing and changing certain things to make a more cohesive and pleasant story.
It is still currently in the planning stages due to a data loss incident (you'll be hearing that a lot in my other projects as well), but I currently have a really solid general idea, several major arcs, and a shaky but decent timeline of events.
I should mention that the tone of the story will be somewhere in-between the cartoons and comics, addressing both the light hearted and positive sides of the story as well as the darker and serious ones. It is not a story for children by any means, but it is a story about heroism, love, and family (as all Batman stories should be).
The end goal of this, or rather the process to get there, is that I will be writing novel versions of this to really nail down the ideas and flow, and then I will be creating comic versions of said novels that are more well done and polished which I will then release (for free, obviously).
Keep in mind I'm relearning art from scratch, am working alone, and this is not my career. It could very well be a decade before even the first issue gets released.
That being said, I'm really looking forward to sharing my project progress and talking about it with y'all. Please do send questions, if you have any!

Hey there! Figured I'd post them in the order I did them. For this logo, we have our dear old man Alfred.
Honestly, the thought and symbolism behind this one is a little less than the others, primarily I added the gray streaks both as a reminder of his hair and because I thought it added some visual interest.
The main shape was meant to evoke a simple but still notable outline, like a badge or medal. That's about all I had for this one.
I honestly totally forgot to post this the day after Bruce's, since i meant to do them daily. I'm not used to using social media whatsoever.
I'll see about posting a general idea of the project sometime soon!

Hey there! My name is Selene Rose Elizabeth Aruana Rocha-Maccini! I figured for my first post, I'd share my first draft for a Bat-Symbol in my Batman Project, Dark Nights (temporary working title). I'll get into the project more later. For this symbol, I really wanted to mix the sharp shape language of modern symbols with the rounder and bulkier overall shape on the older ones. I also made the bat 'tail' reminiscent of a sword, both as a nod to his title as the Dark Knight and for narratives (plus some fun mirroring you'll see later, as I'm making these for all the major characters).
