ever growing and changing and evolving

and that we are just humble travelers

here one moment and gone the next

i've grown much yet i still feel the same

years have passed and i am different

i don't feel the same way i did once before

did i change? who am i now?

the walls have been stripped of their color

all around me are blank white walls

soon i will color these empty canvases all over again

and begin anew

never before in my life have i met someone who loves like you

with sharp teeth and a gaping maw and the darkest eyes i've ever seen

you rage like a storm, striking down all who stand against you

yet despite being so harsh and brutish, i've learned how to live with you

i think i stay because i'm scared of change.
