I'm so sorry about my absence (if any of you follow my alts or my friends, there's a bit more insight into the situation), life and health stuff happened and, unfortunately, a lot of my projects had to be put on the back burner; Cabin Fever was one of them. I don't know how consistent I'll be in posting in the coming months, but I promise to try harder to get stuff out and to y'all.

Because Felony wouldn't stop complaining, I gave in and me and a friend drew her in a different Hamilton outfit.

I'm honestly not sure if its more comfortable than the dress, and I'm honestly not sure which version the MAP creators will decide to use.

But oh well.

The style is a bit different than I'm usually used to, but it still works nonetheless and the lineart is a lot cleaner (courtesy of my friend), which is cool. I might actually stick to this style in the coming future.

And NO, I did NOT forget to add her super original eye scar again.

I mentioned to my friend in charge of the whole Hamilton AU MAP thing that I kinda wished I'd offered up Violet instead of Felony because it would fit Vi better and my friend said,

So me and a few friends are working on a ROTTMNT Hamilton MAP, and my friend (who is in charge of the project) said she was looking to add about ten different OCs to the script, but before she set up the submission form for everyone else, asked if we had any OCs of our own we wanted to see in the MAP.

So I volunteered Felony.

She has.... Mixed feelings.

I honestly should have probably volunteered Violet but its too late now ehehehejsjsksimdmfmfm

Holy Frick, I don't believe somebody actually found that short-

I uh, I mentioned in one of my older posts that Felony is part of a group called The Trauma Quintet, which are five OCs (one of them actually isn't entirely original, fun fact) of me and my friends. A lot of her content revolves around them. So....No, my OC wasn't stolen, my friend that owns the channel got my permission to use Felony in her edit/short/introduction thing. It was made before I started this blog, so I didn't exactly think about my friend throwing that name in her edit.

Yeah, we threw around a LOT of names for Felony, including Foxglove, Blister, Nightlock, Kepler, Andromeda, stuff like that. Eventually we kind of just decided on a couple pseudonyms for her in addition to her real name. The other names, in question? I gave them to a few of Felony's counterparts!

Paying homage to the whole "different futures, several alternate timelines and versions of yourself" trope with ROTTMNT, me and my friend made a few alternate versions of Felony while we were bored and just kinda threw around random questions like, "What if she never ran away from her owners as a kitten?" And "what if she never went to jail and actually grew up in a stable household?" And thats how Kepler (right) and Blister (left) were conceived (that sounds wrong im sorry). Its almost uncanny how different they each turned out.

I think Felony shares that sentiment.

And yes, of COURSE you can have a slice of cake. :3

I love how your ocs Felony and Violet seem to parallel each other as like "angel and demon" but it's swapped, so the absolutely crazy chaotic murderous one is the angel, and the softer, less murderous one without sharp teeth is the demon idk isnsnskskmssmsk I just love that so much-

Fun fact, Violet originally didn't have wings. Then I thought "Meh, I'll give her some." And I just so happened to be hyperfixating on Murder Drones at the time, so.......

I could've given her feathered wings or fairy wings or even just regular dragon wings would have been cool but noooo I had to give her uzi doorman's wings and now I feel like I can't change it because I made a ton of artwork with it and its kind of part of the lore now too and aaauuuuuurrrrrgggghhhhh

I have some questions about your other OC, Violet.

Who or what was she inspired by? What is her purpose in the story? Why was she created? Did you make her just so whichever of the twins who doesn't win Felony's affection isn't left without a girlfriend, or did you make her for more legitimate reasons? What is her motive for helping the Mad Dogs?

Heya! Thanks for the ask, I appreciate it!

Violet is an interesting OC for me, because she started as one thing put into a story purely for a trope I wanted to follow, and then turned into so much more than that. At first glance, most people think I based Violet off of Uzi Doorman and Usagi (which she is), but the biggest inspiration for Violet was actually Ellie's best friend, Riley from The Last Of Us. In the early days of Cabin Fever, it was based heavily off of The Last Of Us, and I wanted a part included based off of the part in the game where Ellie and Riley both get bitten, except with Felony in Ellie's place. For this to work, though, Felony too, needed a best friend. That's where Violet came in.

Violet shares a lot of Riley's traits; she's calm, level-headed, self-sufficient, and jumps to defend others. I like to even imagine that their voices are similar. In the beginning, Violets role was kind of just that of Felony's best friend, much like Riley was Ellie's; this worked well, because Felony is based partially off of Ellie. But as the story developed, so did Felony and Violet's personalities, and their own relationship. Violet is more mellow and level-headed compared to Felony, but she is every bit as much as a baddie as Felony is. That's why they became friends; they bonded over their shared interest of hand-to-hand combat, and the way they were able to collaborate so well in fights. She is a big part in Felony's character development, but that got me thinking - shouldn't that mean that Felony is a part of her OWN character development as well? I eventually started to flesh Violet out a lot more, separate from Felony, and considered her relationships with other characters, gave her an interest in mystic diseases to make her more relevant to the plot, gave her a backstory and PTSD, and just overall made her more than just a side character; she is very much one of the main protagonists in the story now. She and Felony even become close enough that they consider themselves sisters.

And that would mean the answer to your question of if she was only created so that whichever one of the Disaster Twins Felony DOESN'T fall for isn't left completely and utterly alone is, no. She wasn't originally created for a much better reason, though. I even actually intended on killing her off, but after her personality and role in the story reached a certain point in development I realized there was no way I could have her die. She was too important, not just to Felony but to the rest of the characters and story too.

On the topic of relationships, Violet originally had a few candidates for partners; I even considered pairing her with Felony at one point (Violet and Felony are both canonically pansexual, despite not being more than just really close friends). I eventually decided that a second serious romance subplot would take away from the story and wouldn't be fully in character for Vi; she's more of a loner, who whilst is more affectionate and softer than Felony, I can't really see her in any physical relationship with any of the characters (with the exception of maybe one). I'm still actively writing the story, however, so nothing is final. You never know; maybe she'll end up catching feelings for one of the turtles after all.

For the final question, I think her main motive for helping the Mad Dogs is just that they're both investigating the same thing, and want to take it down. Violet has a lot of mystical power, like Felony, but realistically can't stop the outbreak on her own, or even conceivably find out where it originates from. As much of a loner as she is, she knows she needs help (though she'll never admit it), so she puts aside her discomfort and wants for a better chance at being able to stop the rampant meat sentinels from eating everything.

I love talking about this AU, and its characters, in case you couldn't already tell. I have a LOT MORE I could say about Violet, and if anybody should ever ask me to completely lay out Felonys character, I think I'd have to make at least five separate posts, all of them being three times longer than this one.

Yeah, let's make this my first post in months after disappearing to deal with some health issues and NOT address that front at all!!!

First off, THANK YOU FOR ASKING as I actually don't get very many asks and I LOVE TELLING PEOPEL ABOUT THE LORE FOR MY AU-

And, just for you my friend, I have made an artpiece that pretty much encapsulates Felony and Raph's relationship in a nutshell (I had a lot of free time lol):

As mentioned previously, Felony is actually kind of fearful of Raph, mostly because he is bigger and stronger than her, and it actually ties in a bit to Felony's upbringing; in another post I made a joke about Felony spending time in solitary confinement. And uhh, that...wasn't entirely a joke, because Felony DID spend most of her childhood in prison and solitary confinement. When she was with general population, she was bullied and taken advantage of by the other prisoners, and since the neglectful guards that watched over the Hidden City Prison wouldn't do anything about it, Felony, at the age of 13, would start working out vigorously and teach herself in the ways of vicious hand-to-hand combat - and nearly killed her tormenter the next time they tried to pick on her.

Felony's mentality essentially is that the only way to avoid being beat up every day is to be the strongest, most vicious person around, and in prison, she was just that (and very much still is, I mean, the girl can dead-lift over twice her own weight) but OUTSIDE of prison, living with the Mad Dogs, its different. She instantly assesses and pins Raph as the strongest of the Hamato household for his strength (plus the mystic powers don't help) and recognizes that even utilizing her other skills, like her speed or agility, she realistically wouldn't be able to beat Raph in hand-to-hand combat. Felony is basically waiting for Raph to challenge her to a fight for the title of strongest and therefore, untouchable by anyone, and the idea of losing and falling back to where she was when she was 13 and relentlessly bullied is unbearable to her.

But I also honestly think that the idea of facing Raph in combat alone, without the looming thought of falling back to her previous position, is terrifying to Felony because, like I said before, Felony KNOWS Raph doesn't trust her, and can and will break her in two if she ever dared to hurt any of his brothers. The last thing Felony wants at this point is to provoke him further and push him far enough to fight her because Felony knows she won't win, and the concept of "pulling your punches" and NOT killing people in a fight like that, critically, doesn't resonate with her because she essentially grew up watching other people tear each other to shreds in prison. My girl may have a few screws loose, but she still has a sense of self-preservation!

On Raphs part, he has good reason not to trust Felony; its not just that she's emotionally unstable, always acting out in violent fits of rage and CONSTANTLY putting herself and other members of the team in danger, but really her own fear of Raph that makes him suspicious; I mean, why would she be scared of him if she has nothing to hide, if she's not doing anything wrong? Why would she be scared of him if she DOESN'T have malicious intent and thinks Raph is conceivably the only one that could stop her? It doesn't add up to him, thus, he tries to keep a close eye on her; which is a bit hard because Felony, of course, is terrified of Raph and tries to avoid him.

So basically, to sum it up, the two spend the first part of the story walking on eggshells around each other because they're both wary of one another - for reasons that don't really have full merit. Felony doesn't know Raph well enough to know that he isn't going to beat the tar out of her to prove he's the strongest or just because she does something out of line, and Raph doesn't know Felony well enough to know that she truly has no mal-intent, and the only reason she asked to stay in their household is because she escaped prison with Leo on a whim and has absolutely nowhere else to go.

WHEW, THAT WAS A LOT-

I hope that answers your questions though. And I also just realized that this reveals a good amount about the first part of the story, so WONDERFUL, THERE YA GO, YOU HAVE SOME SPOILERS MIXED IN TO GO WITH ALL OF THAT YAAAYYY

I was rewatching MD after the finale and I remembered that there is a lab complex similar to Cabin Fever Labs in my AU (which is KINDA a big part of ze plot), and I thought "Huh. Cabin Fever would actually make a really cool AU title." Tied in with my Murder Drones, Vita Carnis and The Last of Us hyperfixations and WE HAVE THIS
