Vendetta Leon X Reader

You wake one day to find Leon missing from bed, you spend weeks for him only for him to show right back up at your doorstep with an injured arm.

A/N: I've had this idea for awhile. Vendetta Leon is kinda mentally unstable, and I'm sure this would be a difficult time. So Leon just disappears during the events of Vendetta just to reappear home afterwards, feels like it would fit for this era of Leon. I just love the idea of Leon coming home with a guilt and some therapy from Chris.

You wake to the feeling of sunlight on your face, making your nose crinkle with annoyance. You expect to hear your husband's chuckles as he usually did when you made faces. It was silent.

You opened your eyes to find the man missing from your side.

"Leon?" You call softly as his half of the bed is cold. You manage to drag yourself from bed, and head over to the bathroom. Only to find the door left wide open. "Leon?" You tried again, this time your voice started to sound panicked. You rushed around the house opening every room calling for your husband. "Leon!?" You shout, and rush back to your shared bedroom. Finding your phone and dialing his number. The sound of a phone ringing tips you off, and you rush to find his phone on the dinning room table. That's when you notice his keys are gone and his car is gone. Everything thing else was in the same spot, he was just gone.

You didn't know what to do, it seems he left but he wouldn't just leave without telling. Even if he's been a lot more drunk lately. You check your phone contacts and remember you have Hunnigan's number, hopefully maybe he was just sent on a mission and didn't tell you.

However, when you called she explained he was on vacation. Leaving you even more lost as he hadn't told you that. You decided the next best thing was to drive around town and try to find him. You couldn't really report him as missing as it seems like he just disappeared, but you didn't want to let that idea go. After spending almost the entire day looking everywhere you can think of for your husband. You try the police station.

"Look... we can report him as missing but there's no guarantee that'll do anything especially if..." The officer hesitates looking to you.

"He wouldn't just leave me." You try to argue, your eyebrows furrowing. Still, the horrible thought had entered your mind several times.

"Right... well, we'll see what we can do." He tries to assure you, but you leave without much hope. Just left wondering where in the world your husband could be.

You enter an empty home, feeling utterly exhausted and your footsteps sound like thunder in the empty home. You sit on the couch numbly, your thoughts rushing and bouncing around in your head.

"Where are you Leon..?" You asked the wall, feeling your chest get tighter. Your throat clenching, as your vision blurs. You didn't move from the couch too destroyed by your own worries.

The next morning, you refused to leave your phone anywhere in case of getting a call. From the police, or even Leon if he finally decided to call you. You've never so desperately wanted to hear his voice.

At work it was like you were on autopilot focused on getting through the day so you can drive around town to try and get a glimpse of Leon again. Someone had asked about something going on in New York, but you weren't really listening.

Another day without Leon, but you had managed to crawl into bed that time.

It was around 7 in the morning when the doorbell rang, confused but strangely hopeful your rushed to the door. Immediately you are greeted with the sight of your exhausted husband and his arm in a sling. A look of guilt heavy on his features. He gives you a nervous smile.

"I'm home..." He says with a nervous chuckle. You're debating if you should choke him or hug him. You open your mouth, trying to think of what to say. However, you feel it all fail as tears just immediately come from you. Shocking him, and his guilt just becomes more obvious on his face when he sees your tears. "H-Hey..." He approaches you slowly, unsure if you would want his embrace.

"Don't ever do that again!" You shout before hugging him tightly, being careful of his arm in a sling. "Please..." You add on sniffling softly.

"I'm sorry... I shouldn't have done that to you..." He says gently, running his hand through your hair. "I... I've been awful recently... but I promise I'll be better..." He promises you gently.

"I just don't know why you didn't talk to me... you don't have to be strong all the time." You point out moving away to brush away the tears on your cheeks. "I'm here support you too... I'm not asking for you to just do it." Your eyes scan his face, as his eyebrows pinch together before he nods.

"I... I know... but I love you so much... I'm just..." He huffs softly, clearly done with having emotional revelations for the day. But for his partner he can have one more. "Scared..." He says in a soft voice.

"I'm scared too... but we have each other..." You remind him, looking to him. It's quiet for a moment before you speak up again. "Now... you need a shower."

"Or... we could have a bath." He suggests with a smirk on his lips.

"I'll think about it..." His smirk wides at that idea. "No promises!" You say sternly, and he can only laugh. Thankful to be back home.

I like Leon being Italian American cause it’s very common for people to have immigrant grandparents. Like you hear a lot about people’s who families ended up in American cause they were fleeing Europe (mostly cause of world war 2).

So it’s a realistic idea that maybe Leon’s grandparents or even great-grandparents left Italy cause of the changing political climate and ended up in America.

He can have an immigrant family and still be American. It adds a little bit to his character.

 Hi there! So here's my idea. The reader (medic officer) and leon just come out as a new couple and they're happy until one day they get draft for a mission and there meet the one and only Ada Wong that they have to cooperate for the mission. Leon is paying way more attention and all over Ada that he almost disregard the reader. She tries to be understanding and softly communicate with Leon but it turns into an argument. The reader gets upset and misunderstand Leon that he is very not much over with his "the one that got away". Leon regrets the things he said and tries to talk to her but she proceeds to avoid Leon at all costs. Que the enemies attack their base and the reader sees that the enemy is aiming to shoot Ada and at the last minute takes the critical hit for her while thinking that Leon would be heartbroken if Ada dies. Reader flatline a couple of times. I would like to know how Leon would react to this. Let's end it with a happy note ^^

You and Leon have started dating, but the reappearance of Ada Wong has led to complications.

A/N: Sorry this took me so long to work on, like I'm super sorry this took so long. I like Ada but like separate from Leon, I don't like the whole dynamic. "Leon... you'll get us into trouble." You laugh as you feel his lips on your neck, you were in the break room alone.

"With who?" The blonde man asks with a smirk on his lips, his hands caressing your sides and hips. His blue eyes scanning your warm face. As he leans down to give you another kiss both of your radios go off.

"Condor one, Dove one come in." Leon huffs softly in annoyance as you giggle at his disappointment. He smiles at your laughs as you both get your next mission, together surprisingly.

The mission was simple enter into a Tri-cell facility to get information for the BSAA. You were there if there was any injured captured people and to see if you could understand some of the viruses Tri-cell was making. Leon was there as muscle and to protect you if things went wrong, and that was more than likely.

You sit next to him a little tense, Leon placed a gentle hand on your thigh.

"Hey... no worries, I'll be here the entire time." He assures you with a smile giving your thigh a gentle squeeze. You nod gently, giving him a slightly strained smile. He gives you a softer one in return, hoping to add to the comforting feeling he brings.

The inflation begins, and Leon makes sure to cover you.

"Stay close," He reminds you. His eyebrows furrowed as he looks around the area.

"Right." You reply softly, keeping low and close to him. Your handgun is tight in your grip as you follow his moves very closely. Making sure no one gets too close to you, a shield for anything that might harm you.

Leon enters a room first, his eyes scanning the area first before letting you in.

"We really need to stop running into each other like this." A female voice suddenly speaks up, causing Leon to take a step in front of you. The sound of heels gets to your ears, and you notice Leon relax a bit.

"Ada." He says simply, in turn, you tense up. Finally, the woman dressed in red makes herself clear a cat-like smirk on her lips.

"Always a pleasure Leon," she greets him. She looks at you, her smirk still on her painted lips. "I see you're still babysitting."

"I'm not-"

"Why are you here?" Leon interrupts you, making you deflate and any courage you had to confront the woman fades quickly.

"Oh, I'm sure for a similar reason..." She replies vaguely to him. Before either you or Leon could reply there a loud sound out in the hallway.

"Stay here." He instructs you and looks out into the hall. "We need to go now!" He grabs your arm and pulls you along. Ada seeming to catch on.

"There's a vent at the end of the room." She supplies, to which Leon just nods.

"Ladies first." Leon says to you, and while you'd usually play along at that moment it felt different. You get into the vent and both of them get in behind you.

Eventually you reach the other room. Dropping down into it, before Leon and Ada come out.

"You okay?" Leon asks you softly placing a gentle hand on your back, looking to him. You smile softly and nod, he gives you a small one back. Only to find his gaze on Ada.

"It's been a long time." Leon begins softly to her, she looks to him her face more neutral.

"Didn't I tell you not to think too hard?" She asks her hands on her hips, a fond look in her eyes as she looks at Leon. You watch this all, looking at Leon's reaction which is a small laugh and smile. You try to brush it off, but you know Leon's history with Ada. You've had late nights talking with him about it. You watched them talk, the words not quite reaching your ears as you watched numbly. It was as if a lost rhythm was picked up again after everything.

You're not sure how, but this ended with Ada joining you and Leon as the threat he had seen was still wandering around. Heavy footsteps are heard very so often. At first, he was walking side by side with Ada forgetting you in the background. Only making you feel worse about the matter. You held onto your handgun not really focusing on them.

Leon glanced behind at you and slowed down.

"Hey," he says softly causing you to look at him. His voice bringing you out of your daze. "Everything okay..? You've been really quiet." He says gently.

"Yeah... I was just..." You hesitate before you look at him, and see his worried look. You look ahead, it was clear Ada is not listening to whatever you were saying. "Do um..." You didn't know how to bring this up lightly. "You and Ada seem close..."

"Not really." He replies with a raised eyebrow.

"You just really... seemed to miss her." You try to correct your wording, which gets a hard look from your boyfriend. Making your shoulders tense up.

"And what exactly are you implying?" He asks, his eyebrows furrowed.

"N-nothing!"

"It sounds like you're implying something," he snaps back quickly. He sighs trying to cool his anger. "Just ask me what your thinking." He says his tone not as harsh.

"I... what are your feelings about Ada?" You ask nervously, and Leon gets an odd look.

"Sweetheart... it's complicated..." He says softly unsure how to explain his thoughts.

"Oh... I see." You reply softly.

"Hey, it's nothing like that." He immediately tries to say.

"Then why are you so defensive?" You ask eyebrows furrowed.

"Are you serious?" Before he can argue more, you walk ahead not wanting to hear anything more from him. "Fuck..." he breathes out softly in disbelief.

Leon attempts to talk to you as you three search the facility, but he can never seem to get you to listen or stop.

As you turned the corner you saw it, the thing Leon had seen. A large mutated tyrant.

"It's here!" You manage to shout to the other two as it charges down the hallway spotting you as you spot it. Leon pulled Ada out of the way as you dodged it barely. His arms around her as they took a moment to breathe. Leon and Ada pulled out their handguns attempting to stop the hulking mutant with bullets. You rushed into one of the rooms, trying to find anything that could help fight the thing. That's when you spot something, you look at the hallway. "Do either of you have a lighter?" You shout back at the pair.

"What?" Leon asks confused.

"I do." Ada supplies, you grabbed two large hand sanitizers from the labs. You dump one out on the floor, you manage to splash the other container onto the tyrant angering it. "What are you doing? Pissing it off!?" Ada snaps annoyed.

"Hand sanitizer is flammable, and has alcohol in it." You explain quickly and anxiously as you put the lighter to the puddle on the floor. The fire didn't light long but it definitely affected the tyrant. Giving weak spots for Ada and Leon to hit when the tyrant suddenly charges again. Thinking quickly you push Ada out of the way, causing you to take the hit. Your back hits the wall, and you hear something crack before you fall to the floor. The pain overwhelms your senses as your heart pounds loudly in your chest.

"No!" You hear Leon shout your name, and the last thing you see is him running up to you.

The next time you open your eyes for a moment you hear the rushing of feet, watching as florescent light pass quickly overhead. You hear his voice, it's panicked and asking questions. A curt voice replies before it all goes black again.

Your eyes open again for a moment, you just feel a hand in yours. A thumb rubbing your knuckles gently. You see Leon's head nod as he speaks to a figure you can't quite make out before your head falls back. The darkness consumes your vision again.

As the light comes back again, the room is dark. A few stars shining can be seen from the large window. You look to the side of the bed to see the blonde man fast asleep in a chair.

"Leon..." you manage to whisper out, but the man wakes up despite how quiet your voice had been.

"Hey, sweetheart..." He says softly, moving his chair close to your bed. He gently caresses your cheek which you lean into.

"Hey..." You reply in a quiet tone.

"You scared the shit out of me, you know?" He said, his tone still quiet.

"Sorry..." Those words only get a soft chuckle from the man.

"I don't think you purposely tried to get this injured." He pointed out. His thumb gently rubbing your cheek. You give a small laugh.

"That's a good point..." You reply softly. "Leon... I'm sorry about everything with Ada... I just-"

"Don't worry about any of that, okay?" His deep blue eyes look to yours, waiting for your response.

"Okay..."

"Just know I love you... and I'm sorry I didn't make that clear enough." He gently leans forward and kisses your forehead. You felt some warmth rise to your cheeks, making him smile. "Get some rest... I need my baby back in my life." He says squeezing your hand still as you fall into comfortable sleep.

As for Leon, he's irritated with her because of her attitude towards him.

You grab your luggage from baggage claim. A soft sigh leaving your lips, your brother was going to propose. Yet, you had been broken up with again. The minute you talked about actual commitment your boyfriends would run off. It was frustrating, and at this point you were just tired. You walk out to see your mom and dad who smile brightly upon seeing you. You get rid of those thoughts as you smile back at them, hugging them tightly.

You watch out the window as they ask you the usual questions. "How are you?" "Any guys you want us to meet?" You reply easily to those questions. It felt a little useless since you weren't the one talking about marriage.

Your relieved when you finally arrive home. Exhaustedly you head up the stairs to your room. After unpacking you lie down in your bed and fall asleep easily.

Laughter wakes you up from your nap, you sigh but head down the stairs. However as you walk down you don't just hear just your mom and dad, no there’s two additional voices.

You walk out into the kitchen and see two people sitting with your parents, Adam, your brother and... Leon Kennedy. The most annoying guy you've had to deal with in your entire life. You could have sworn that your brother and Leon had come out of the womb tied to the hip.

"See mom, I've been telling you for years." You gesture to the pair.

"Oh enough from you, besides we love having Leon around." Your mother tries to argue.

Adam goes through the plan yet again, you and Leon have to distract June his girlfriend for the day. As much as you wanted to complain, you did want this to go well for your brother.

You waited outside by the shopping outlets, when you notice Leon walking up after looking up from your phone.

"Hey," he greets you.

"I'm... fine..." You reply hesitantly. "Just... getting through the day." You add on with a soft sigh.

"Yeah, I hear that." He chuckles a little bit. "You still dating that guy..?" He suddenly asks.

"No, and I'm not interested back off." You reply quickly, your voice snippy.

"I'm sorry? I was just asking?" He replies confused, and his tone showing some of his annoyance with your response.

"Yeah sure, the guy famous for getting into girls pants in high school." Your reply your eyes narrowed. He scoffs and opens his mouth to defend himself.

"There you guys are!" A bright female voice interrupts whatever Leon was about to say. June smiles brightly seeing you two, both of you just push past your argument and smile at her.

You take June around the outlets, letting her pull you guys into whatever store she fancies.

As you look around a clothing store you notice Leon in the men's section and sigh softly. You walk up to him, he looks to you and raises an eyebrow.

"I-I... I just wanted to say sorry for snapping at you." You say softly to him. He's quiet for a moment but nods.

"It's alright, don't worry about it." He gives you a soft smile, and you feel your cheeks get a little warmer. Was he always this attractive? "Besides it seems like relationships are a sensitive subject for you." He notes looking back through the men's shirts.

"Yeah... it's looking pretty bleak..." You sigh out thinking about it. "I mean Adam is talking about marriage and I..." You feel a gentle hand on your shoulder.

"Hey... you'll find someone." He assures you gently, his blue eyes piercing into you. "Besides most guys will know your quite the catch." He winks at you, and your cheeks become warmer.

"You guys find anything?" June asks you, causing you to jump a bit. She quickly apologies and you laugh it off. Still, you were a little shocked by your reaction to Leon. He was attractive sure, but to you he was always just your brother's friend Leon. Now, it felt a little bit different. The blonde man looks down at his phone and then back up giving you a look from which you immediately catch on.

"I don't know about you June, but I'm really hungry." You suddenly bring up to her. Leon nodding in agreement behind you.

"Oh yeah, now that you mention it I kinda am." She replies after thinking for a moment. You and Leon manage to convince her to go to the restaurant your parents and Adam were waiting at.

Dinner was nice, and it was sweet to watch your brother propose to June afterwards. You smile watching them, but feel a little sad. Your very happy for your brother and June, but you wanted that too. It was getting harder to believe that was ever going to happen, maybe your standards were too high? Were you asking too much? You tried not to let your gloomy thoughts infect the cheerful atmosphere of your brother's proposal.

The next step apparently to your parents was to have a party celebrating such a momentous occasion. That weekend there was going to be a celebratory cook out, where family and friends would be invited. Again, somehow you ended up doing things with Leon.

"Okay... we need balloons, tablecloth, tablecloth weights and serving plates." Leon reads off the list as you both enter Party City.

"Did Adam and June mention a theme?" You ask looking at the list in his hand curiously.

"Um... I don't think so..." He says trying to think it through. "I mean... does it need a theme?" He asks you with a raise eyebrow.

"I was just checking." You defend yourself raising your arms. He nods and you head through the store together. As you walk through you stop and giggle to yourself. "Maybe we should get them a Barbie themed table cloth." You suggest laughing a bit.

"Hmm... I was thinking more... super heroes?" He suggests pointing to the other tablecloth nearby.

"Oh! You are so right that is so much better!" You say with a smile both of you laughing a bit. "My mom would kill us."

"It'd be worth it though." He replies confidently. At this point you'd just point out all the funny stuff in the store to each other, that's also how you ended up with a fuzzy tiara for June and a jester hat for Adam. When questioned why you had bought those items for a cook out, you defend both Leon and yourself by saying it was on theme.

The cook out comes, and you're stuck helping your mom and dad with food. Making pasta salad, grabbing plates for your dad to put hotdogs and hamburgers on. Friends and family greet you as you run around the backyard doing things. As your parents finally get a chance to relax, you can't seem to do the same. Someone always needing your attention or asking about how you've been. It was getting exhausting and a little overwhelming at this point.

"Hey, I need something real quick." A familiar voice suddenly says, before you know it your being pulled into the part of the backyard which was more tame. Only a few people around talking, you look to Leon a little surprised.

"You... why?" You ask, trying and failing to piece it together in your head.

"You looked overwhelmed, here. Your twenty-one now right?" He asks holding out a beer to you. You huff but grab it.

"Twenty-two." You reply a little annoyed.

"Oh no, one year off!" He jokes with a smile, and you roll you eyes. However, a smile finds a way on your lips as you take a sip from the can.

You end up sitting there talking to Leon in your secluded section of the backyard. Talking about anything that came to mind, sipping your drinks.

"Okay... so are you seeing anyone?" You suddenly ask him softly. The sun was starting to go down but the party was still alive somehow.

"No, I'm not." He replies simply.

"Wait, really?" You look to him a little in disbelief. He chuckles a little as he takes another sip.

"What? You act like that's weird."

"You? Who was like the most popular guy in high school." You bring up to him. "And slept with like every girl in your grade."

"You realize you were a freshmen then right? The rumor mill was insane then." He shakes his head thinking about it.

"So..?"

"So, I didn't sleep with anyone until I was in college and had my first girlfriend." Leon explains to you, causing you to sit back a little in shock.

"Huh..." You can only reply. Taking another sip from your can as you think on this information.

"You good?" He ask with a slight laugh. You just nod softly and sigh leaning back in your chair.

"It's crazy... how fast life goes after high school..." Your voice was in a hushed tone, it could almost be mistaken for a whisper.

"Yeah..." He replies softly looking to you as you stared at the sun setting. "Hey..." He gently places a hand your shoulder. You look to him, and feel your cheeks get warm. You don't notice as a slight pink comes to his own face. He looks away struggling to find his words as he swallows.

"Did..." His blue eyes shoot back to your face. "Did you mean what you said..?" You ask, your throat and mouth dry despite the drink in your hand. "That I'll find someone... and any guy would see me as a catch?" He just nods, saying nothing more. You move your seat closer to his, unsure of where to go from here. Still, your hand moves to his grabbing it gently. Once your hand is in his, he squeezes it. "Leon..?"

"Yes..?"

"Why did you ask if I was still dating someone?"

Silence was all that filled the air for a moment, when a sigh cuts through wind.

"As bad as it sounds... I was kinda hoping you'd say no." He says softly, you finally turn to look at him again and his blue eyes meet yours. Your cheeks were bright red as your heart skips a beat. You squeeze his hand again, your eyes looking around quickly as you lean a bit closer to him.

"I-It's okay... I was hoping the same..." You admit to him, and that was all Leon seemed to need. As he gently places a hand on your cheek and closes the space between you. Kissing you with soft and gentle lips, to which you kiss him back a smile forming on your lips. "M-my room..." You say breathlessly as your lips separate for a moment. He nods in return, maybe it was the alcohol giving you some confidence but you could feel your heart racing. You two manage to not catch anyone's attention as you head back inside and into your room.

You two in a frenzy quickly shut your door behind you as he pushes you onto the bed. You kiss him back eagerly, wrapping your arms around his neck. His hands on your hips as you two kiss, his lips eventually finding your neck.

"So beautiful..." He breaths out into your neck.

"L-Leon..." You manage to get his name out through your passion.

"Yes sweetheart?" He asks softly, his chest rising and falling quickly.

"I-I... I've never..." Your face is bright red as you look to him. His eyes widened a bit and puts two and two together.

"Oh... oh!" Leon replies as he realizes. "That's okay... we don't have to do anything... okay?"

"Okay..." You reply comforted as you embrace him again, and his strong arms wrap around you. Holding you close to him though the night, his hold gentle and soothing. He holds you like if he let you go his whole world would disappear.

When you wake up the next morning you see Leon staring at you, causing your cheeks to become bright red to which he chuckles fondly.

Y/N: I'm really glad you liked the first part! I was a little worried it was a little aimless but I did plan to do another part. Lowkey I need to write more older Leon. At this point I might need another part for this story

Leon double-checks his apartment, making sure it doesn't look like a disaster. Better yet, that a kid won't get into anything they aren't supposed to. He here's the knock at his apartment door and tenses up a bit. Taking a deep breath, he opens the door greeted by you and Finn.

"Hey!" You smile brightly and wave.

"Hi, Mr. Leon!" Finn greets him with a smile. His backpack is secure on his shoulders.

"Hey to you both," He says softly, opening his door wider for you both to enter. Finn enters before you, finding a spot on Leon's couch, you approach him.

“Okay Finn, be good for Leon please.” You kiss his forehead as he nods eagerly. You turn to Leon with a soft smile. "Thanks again for doing this for me."

"It's no problem," he brushes it off with a wave with of his hand. "We're neighbors after all." He assures you with a soft smile. You give him a smile back, really appreciating all that he was doing for you.

"I should be back by eight, and you know you don't have to feed him. I can definitely do that."

"I don't mind." Leon assures you, placing a gentle hand on your shoulder. "Finn is in safe hands." You look at him, and as his blue eyes meet yours. You believe him and trust him.

"You boys have fun." You say with a smile and a wave.

"Bye mom!" Finn says happily as he watches you leave. His legs kicking as he sits on the sofa.

"Alright buddy... you want to do anything?" Leon turns to Finn curiously.

"Mom says I have to finish homework first." He sighs thinking about it.

"Oh gotcha, if you need any help let me know." Leon adds on before leaving Finn to do his work. He tried to not worry too much about him as he did his own thing.

Leon doesn't know how he ended up on the floor on the floor with Uno cards and an eight year old but he that's where he was.

"Okay... I pick red." Leon decides after thinking for a moment. Finn can't hide his smile as he puts down his final card.

"I win!" The boy declares happily.

"Dang, you got me!" He declares feigning upset. He watches as the boy celebrates, and Leon smiles softly. As he watches the bright smile on his face, he can't help but think of Sherry. When they were traveling together after Raccoon city. A knock at the door distracts him from their game. "Wait here for a minute," he tells the boy before he stands. Groaning a bit as he does, he opens to the door to see you with a smile and slightly exhausted look.

"Mom!" Finn runs up and hugs you tightly. You hug him back squeezing him a bit. He rushes off to grab his things, leaving you and Leon in the doorway.

"How was he?" You ask softly.

"Great, he's a really good kid." Leon assures you gently. "And if you ever need help again don't hesitate, okay..?" He looks at you with a soft look in his kind blue eyes. You nod gently in return.

"Thank you..." You reply softly, feeling your cheeks getting a little warm from his gaze. Leon notices and feels his own face get warmer.

"Got everything!" Finn announces happily, his backpack secure on his shoulders. Interrupting whatever was happening between you and Leon.

"Alright, ready to go home?" You ask Finn gently to which he nods eagerly. "Thank you again, Finn say thank you."

"Thank you Mr. Leon!" He replies happily. "I had fun!" He adds on cheerfully, to which the man can't hide a smile.

"It was no problem." Leon says with a nod. You turn to leave but the man suddenly grabs your shoulder gently. You look to him, his blue eyes meeting yours. "I-I'll see you around, right?" A smile comes to your lips.

"I'd be disappointed if I didn't." You say your cheeks red and he only nods breathlessly.

"Yeah..." Is all he can manage to say as he watches you and your son return to your apartment. His cheeks warm as he shuts the door to his apartment.

Y/N: So this is going to be multi-part since I think that'll work best for me. I just wanted to write about a chubby single mom with Leon. I also don't know how many parts

Leon huffed a sigh as he reached his apartment building. He threw his bag onto his shoulder as he exited his car. He notices a large moving truck in a parking spot not too far from his.

“Great…” He sighs, hoping that his new neighbors are at least quiet. He walks up the stairs of his apartment building and spots a collection of boxes across the hallway from his door. As he pulls out his keys and turns to his door, he hears a female voice.

“Come on…” He turns to see a woman struggling with a key and her door. Leon tries to turn back to his own business and to ignore you, but sighs as he heads over.

“Need some help?” He asks softly, looking at you.

“Oh! Thank you!” You say shocked by the turn of events. He grabs the box from you as you unlock and open the apartment door. As you open the door for him, you place a small box in the way to prop it open. “Thank you so much.” You repeat yourself looking to him.

“It’s no problem…” He replies and finally gets a full look at you. You looked very soft, and you had a thankful smile on your lips. Your features are round and have some extra weight on your body. You introduce yourself telling him your name. “Nice to meet you, I’m Leon. Your neighbor.” He explains stiffly and a little awkwardly.

"Oh! That makes some sense, sorry. My brain is all over the place." You explain looking around your new empty apartment.

"It's alright, moving will definitely do that." Leon chuckles awkwardly.

"Mom! Did you see-" A young boy runs it, freezing when he notices the stranger with his mother.

"Hey Finn, this is our neighbor, Mr. Kennedy." You gesture to the man beside you. "This is my son." You turn to

"Oh um, please call me Leon." He insists, his body still tense.

"Um... hi..." The boy says shyly. His features looked close to yours, the only thing that didn't look like it was directly from you was his eyes. Leon gives a soft smile to him.

"It's good to meet you." He says kindly to the boy, who is moving closer to your leg. You chuckle softly at Finn's reaction.

"It's alright sweetheart." You assure him, your hand gently going through his hair. Still, he seemed less tense after Leon's introduction.

"It was really nice to meet you," Leon says softly and starts to head back to his apartment with an awkward wave.

It’d be interesting with both you and Finn now living across from him. It didn’t help that he found himself taking second glances at you specifically. He feels his cheeks heat up at the thought but tries to push those feelings away.

It had been a week and Leon kept running into you and your son. You always looked a little tired, but you somehow managed to greet him with a smile every time.

He'd never admit it but he loved when you crossed paths with him. Finn also greeted him with a smile, but he swears that kid smiled like that was his natural state.

You stand in front of your neighbor's apartment anxiously before you knock gently. It takes a moment, but he reveals himself. His blue eyes staring at you.

"Yes?" He asks with a raised blonde eyebrow.

"I... I really hate to ask this." You start out. "Finn's teacher wants a parent-teacher conference with me, but that means no one can watch him and I was wondering if you could..?" You ask him anxiously and nervously.

You watch as Leon's eyes widen, he seemingly needing a moment to fully process completely what you had asked him.

"I..."

"You don't have to say yes, to be completely clear!" You add on anxiously and worried.

"I can do it." He confirms afterward, which shocks you but also a relief fills you. Your shoulders fall after being so tense.

"Thank you so much! I really do appreciate it, like more than you know." You say before hugging him tightly, he freezes for a moment before you feel his arms around you.

"I-It's no problem." He replies softly afterward. He felt a slight blush on his cheeks form, you felt so soft. Your hug was so tight and firm.

"Thanks again!" You head off with a wave and a smile. As Leon stands there in disbelief, what did he just agree to? And why didn't he mind? He shuts his apartment door with a soft smile.

(This is just some super quick thing but I think there is a lot of potential for angst in Infinite Darkness, I mean they thought Leon died at one point. I just like Infinite Darkness, my comfort show fr)

Leon's thoughts have been heavy and complicated since everything with Jason and Shen mei. Mainly what to do about the computer chip, it felt like a heavyweight in his pocket.

Especially after both Jason and Shen mei's deaths. He hated that he found himself here again, choosing between protecting the government and doing what should be the easy and right choice. Maybe he was just too tired to make the choice right now, he opened his apartment door and heard you gasp out in shock.

"I'm home..." He greets you with a nervous smile cause he knows he's been gone far longer than he told you he would be. You immediately hug him tightly, tears in your eyes. "Shh... I know I'm sorry..." He says softly as you hug him tightly. That night you refused to let go of him, afraid if you did he would simply disappear like a dream.

As you slept next to him, Leon's hands gently ran through your hair. His thoughts are back on the chip, back on Jason's final words, and everything he's been through. He was just happy to be back home with you, and it reminds him. He needs to protect the people he loves first and foremost, in any way he can.

He looks at the chip in his hand as Claire holds out her's waiting for him to give up. She smiles as she waits, Leon shakes his head.

"I can't," he simply says. He has to protect Claire, but more importantly you.

"What?" The woman in red looks at him in disbelief and a little confused. He takes a deep breath as her anger rises. "So what? You do your things your way and I do it mine?" She asks upset. Leon unable to form any words his throat tight nods. "Okay fine..." She begins to walk away upset before she turns. "Like I said before that outfit doesn't suit you." Claire declares before storming off.

Leon turns away to head back up the path when his phone goes off. He opens it to see a text from you. A small bittersweet smile forms on his lips. Your still safe, and one day he wouldn't have to worry about that. Just not today.

Leon returns home after a mission, thankful to return home to his wife and daughter.

A/N: Yes, the song is from the horse movie. I just listened to it again recently and literally couldn’t help but think of RE 6 Leon. Like the relief he feels to say he has a family and a home he can always return to and always feel love. Also, I’m a sucker for domestic Leon.

Leon sighs out softly as he walks off the helicopter, the bags under his eyes heavy. He doesn’t really pay attention to other agents around him. Just focused on getting out his gear, to head home. It’s been almost a month since he’s been home. He didn’t want to waste any more time waiting around here or even talking to anyone. Not even the president could get him to stay at the DSO headquarters for a moment longer. Hunngian promised him she’d handle anything, which he greatly appreciated. He just wanted to get to where he wished to be the most.

As he drives his car, he can clearly see the wedding ring on his finger reflect the street lights. A small smile forms on his lips, he can imagine your shock and surprise when he just shows up. It was one of the few reasons he didn’t always mind these long missions, and then he thought how excited and happy your daughter would be. How she’ll jump up and hug him tightly. He can’t fight the smile that forms on his face as he thinks about it. Finally, he pulls into the driveway with only one other car parked there. He gets out and he watches as his breath is visible in the cold air. Snow having fallen recently, there were remnants that the snow had been disturbed in the front yard. He smiles to himself as he notices two snow angels of different sizes. He walks the short path to the front door, pulling his keys from his jacket pocket. As he does he notices lights on in the house, he secretly hopes he isn’t too late for dinner.

“Baby, make sure your hands are clean.” You tell your daughter gently.

“Okay, mommy!” She calls and rushes back past you. Her blond hair is everywhere as she dashes by. She looked a lot like Leon and acted like him too. The only thing that didn’t look like him was her eyes, she had your eyes. You’re setting up the plates for dinner, putting down two plates. You feel some sadness at not being able to set a third plate. When you suddenly hear a squeal. You rush to see what is going on, to make sure your daughter is okay.

“Daddy!” You look to see Leon grab his daughter from the floor.

“My munchkin!” He calls out joyfully as he picks her up, her giggles never stopping.

“I missed you!” She says brightly as he holds her.

“Oh, I missed you too! More than you could ever imagine!” He blows air on her stomach making her laugh more. You’re practically frozen there as you look at Leon, his smile as bright as your daughter’s.

“Mommy look!” Your daughter calls as you finally start to walk closer. Leon puts your daughter down and is quiet for a moment before you hug him tightly.

“I missed you…” You say simply but so much more is said. Your arms are tight around him. So much you want to say but your daughter is here. I’m so glad you’re alive, I’m so happy you came back to me, I don’t ever want you to leave again.

“I know…” He replies softly hugging you back as tight as he can. His face buried in your neck and hair, taking in everything that is you. Small tears well up in your eyes but you quickly brush them away and smile.

“Come on… we were just getting ready to have dinner.” You tell him that with a bright smile, that reminds him. He’s home.

You quickly set another spot for him, and he listens with a smile as your daughter explains her day. Her feet kick under the table and her smile never fades as her dad is home.

You originally meant to make sundaes to distract your daughter from her father's absence, but now they were a celebration of his return home. Your own fond smile never leaves your lips even as your daughter gets ice cream all over her face. Leon only finds it amusing and kisses her cheek.

After cleaning up and making sure no one has any ice cream anywhere. You head to your daughter's room.

"Goodnight sweetie..." Leon kisses your daughter's forehead gently.

"Daddy... are you going to be here tomorrow..?" She asks in a tired tone, looking up at him. Some part of Leon's heart broke when his daughter asked him that question. You could see it in his blue eyes.

"There is nowhere I'd rather be... than here with you and your mom." He says softly. "Just know... even if I have to go, I'll always return..." Your daughter nods, to which she receives another kiss from Leon.

"Goodnight baby..." You add, tucking her in a bit tighter and giving her a quick kiss on the cheek. "Love you..." You add on softly.

It's quiet for a moment in your shared bedroom. Before you hug Leon tightly again. As if you're floating in the sea, and he's your only life raft. Confirmation that he's here, and present. Leon not needing an explanation just hugs you back just as tight.

"I will always come home..." He assures you hugging you a bit tighter. Holding part of his entire world in his arms.

You and Leon are on a routine mission, as routine as it can be for you two.

A/N: I've been wanting to write something with an agent reader but like wanted to do my own thing. So it is based on an AU of my OC, where you're more of a tech specialist over combat-focused. Also, this is also my agenda of Leon's partner not being called Condor Two. This was just a fun thing for me to write honestly.

"Check-in, how's it going sparrow one?" Leon's voice comes into your ear.

"Better if you didn't keep interrupting." You reply, your fingers moving quickly on the keyboard. Focused on the task at hand, shutting down security and getting the information you need. "Besides aren't you supposed to make sure no one gets suspicious."

"Can't I just check in?" He asks with a slightly amused tone in his voice.

"Without causing trouble? Never," you say but you can't help the smile forming on your lips as you speak with him.

"Just making sure you don't need your muscle yet." He jokes causing a light snort from you.

"Trust me, you'll be the first one to know if I do. Sparrow one, out,"

Leon rolls his eyes as you shut off your radio, but he smiles to himself. He looks around him, adjusting his suit jacket yet again. This was the worst part of this mission, the disguise, and the waiting.

You two have been a team for a little over a year now, you handled all the tech stuff and he usually did all the suplexing and shooting people. You made a good team, even if Leon was against it at the beginning.

Leon picks up a glass of champagne from a tray when he spots the man they are after. Mr. Monroe, he was once an Umbrella scientist and seemed to back up to his old tricks. That's when he notices a security guard coming up to him and whispering something in his ear.

"Sparrow one, come in." He immediately whispers into his radio. "Everything okay there?"

"Affirmative, why?" You reply quickly.

"Security just approached the target." He replies in a worried tone. .

"Shit, really?"

"Yeah really." You think for a moment trying to think of what is the next best course of action. "Do you need me down there?" He asks you, concern clear in his voice.

"No, I'm fine." However, you were shut down when you heard a door open behind you. "Damn it, uh call you."

"Wait!" You shut off your radio and he groans out annoyed. He shakes his head and rushes to get to the basement. "I'm gonna kill them." He whispers to himself.

You hide behind servers as gunfire is rained on you. When they stop to reload, you return fire. However, you have only just a handgun on you, and you are better trained with a rifle than this kind of situation. You duck back behind cover to reload when the gunshots stop suddenly, you peak from your spot to see Leon standing there.

"Day going well?" He asks with a smirk, as you roll your eyes.

"You know, the daily grind." You place a hand on your hip as you look at him.

"Get through security?" He asks you as you approach the computer again.

"Are you doubting my skills?" You reply looking at him.

"Never," he replies softly and fondly. Heat rises in your cheeks but you move forward trying to brush it off. You clear your throat and try to ignore the warmer your cheeks.

"So um, I got a look at a map of this place and I think I found Monroe’s little secrets." You pull out a USB drive and show it to him.

"Nice work." He replies with a smile, looking at you. Your blush gets worse and you look at him.

"Thanks... Leon... I-" Before you can say more you shout out in pain, a sudden shot to your shoulder.

"No!" Leon grabs you and points his gun at the gunman.

"I-I'm okay..." You assure Leon despite groaning in pain. Monroe smirks as he looks at both of you, think he’s gotten the upper hand by injuring you.

"It seems the DSO finally decided to strike, took you buffoons long enough." The man laughs with a smirk.

"God... you sound like a Saturday morning villain." You groan out despite the pain. Leon can't help but snort as he makes an offended noise.

"I wouldn't sound so cocky being shot!" He replies with his lip upturned.

"I wouldn't sound so cocky when you pissed off Leon Kennedy." You point out to him, as Leon cracks his knuckles and takes out his handgun.

Monroe surrendered and the DSO arrived to deal with the rest. You were getting your shoulder treated when Leon walked up.

"Your shoulder going to be okay?" He asks softly leaning against the vehicle you were getting treated in.

"Yeah, just need some rest they said." You reply softly with a shrug of your shoulders. "Thanks..." You add on.

"No need to thank me, you're my partner... you're important to me you know?" He brings up, his cheeks a faint red when he says that. "Sorry... that was probably too much… just you know forget-“

You suddenly grabbed him by the front of his suit jacket and kissed him passionately. He was left speechless his eyes wide as his cheeks heated up further. Your lips formed a smirk as you looked at him.

"I think I like this look on you."

A/N: I got a sinus infection and watched Infinite Darkness again, I love Leon in this show and I'm upset Infinite Darkness Leon doesn't get more love cause he is so pretty. I want to live in his hair, it looks so soft, and he's such a sweetheart, I just love this man so much

You woke up this morning and immediately wished you had never woken up. You groan out in pain, a pounding headache that wasn't there last night greets you. You pull your covers up a little higher as you're freezing just from the ceiling fan above your bed.

You can't breathe properly through your nose and you let out a harsh cough. The idea of getting out of bed makes you want to cry as you hug a pillow.

"Hey, I've got to go soon-" Leon suddenly comes marching into your shared bedroom. "You okay?" He stops looking at your concern.

"Need a minute..." You reply in a grumbling and nasally voice, vastly different from your normal speaking voice. His eyes widened when he heard you speak. "Is it that bad?" You ask him.

"Yeah... you really don't sound good baby." He says softly as he sits down on the bed close to you. He gently touches your forehead and cheeks. "Sweetheart, you're burning up." He notes worried, you lean against his touch as his cold hands feel nice on your skin.

"I'm okay... really," you try to reassure him but a shiver runs through you.

"I'll be the judge of that." He replies before getting up and heading to the bathroom. He returns with a thermometer, you roll your eyes but let him get your temperature. "And that would be a low-grade fever, congratulations you're staying home." He says patting you gently.

"Leon, I'm fine." You try to argue but a harsh right afterwards does not help prove your point. Also, the fact you are shivering despite being under your comforter.

"Alright... so here's the plan. You're going to call out of work-"

"No..."

"And I am going to take you to the doctor's."

"No, Leon, I am fine. You are not missing work for me." You try to argue with him.

"You are sick, there is nothing to argue about here." He tells you annoyed. You sigh, he was right, you're pretty sure if you went to work you'd end up passing out.

“Still… it’s just a low grade fever, I don’t need to go to the doctors.” You try to argue.

“Okay then… how about I just stay home and take care of you?” He suggests brushing some hair from your face. “We get some food, and watch something on the couch.”

That sounded really nice you weren’t gonna lie, and at the moment you just wanted to hug someone. Cuddling with your boyfriend as your sick and your head is killing you sounds amazing.

“Alright… that sounds good.” You nod and he smiles, before you know it he’s picking you up from bed and carrying you to the living room. You yelp out gently as he picks you up, and you wrap your arms around his neck. He smiles softly happy to have you in his arms, as he carries you to the couch. You lean against his chest and shut your eyes hoping to relieve some of the just misery you are feeling.

Leon makes sure you have water and doesn't let you leave the couch unless you have to use the bathroom. You think he's being dramatic, but if you're being honest you like being pampered like this.

You look at Leon who is busy watching the show you put on, he seems relaxed. It makes you smile softly as you relax further against him. He kisses the top of your head and turns up the TV a bit.

Maybe this sick day was good for both of you.

Leon has always liked having a soulmate, but not so much anymore

A/N: I’m unironically kinda proud of the first story for this, so I decided to make Leon’s side of it. Also, like one use of Y/N but that's about it

When Leon was younger, he used to think having a soulmate was the best thing in the world. It made everything he went though much less lonely, and his soulmate was basically someone who knew everything about him without having met him yet.

Until, Raccoon city. One thought kept plaguing his mind as he went through everything.

Can they feel it?

Could they feel the pain he was going through? What were they thinking?

He thought about it everyday from that day forward, the type of pain that they must be going through.. because of him.

It hurt him, it made him feel beyond guilty. It made him wonder why he had a soulmate.

Just to hurt them like he did with everyone else in his life?

Even when he was in pain, his thoughts were always on them. His soulmate who was suffering because of him.

Sometimes he questioned if they were still there, the only pain he got was small things. Like when you stub your toe or accidentally trip and fall.

Then he met you, the sweetest, warmest and kindest person he’s ever met. At first, things were a little awkward, but you two quickly clicked together. Like you've been together your entire lives.

It was like you knew every scar of his perfectly, he would feel your hands gently caressing his shoulder where under his shirt there was a small circular scar.

It was nice, Leon loved having someone who seemed to understand his pain so deeply.

"Hey, sweetheart?" Leon called to you, finding some hospital bills on your table. It seemed like you were in the hospital at the same time he was in Spain.

"Yeah?" You call reaching the kitchen when you see what he has.

"You went to the hospital?" He asks concerned his eyebrows furrowed. "I... I didn't feel anything." He's trying hard to remember if he felt anything around that time, but he can't.

"It was just..." You struggle to find some kind of excuse. Leon scans your face and it hits him.

"Were you in the hospital because of me?" He asks softly looking at you with concern in his eyes.

"I..." You hesitate to tell him the truth, looking at him as you can already see the guilt building in him.

"Y/N," he snaps at you. His eyebrows furrowed as he looked at you.

"I was... this year and six years ago." You admit to him softly looking over to him. His blue eyes widened and you can practically see the way guilt fills him. "This is not your fault." You try to say to him softly.

"Isn't it!?" He turns to you, not angry with you. He never would be but he is upset by the news. "You didn't choose to be my soulmate... god, I can't imagine the pain you've been through because of me..." He runs his hand through his hair in disbelief. "It's not right..." He shakes his head.

"I wouldn't trade you for anyone." You tell him honestly, looking him in the eyes. He gives you a confused look, almost like he doesn't believe what you said. "I mean... what do you want me to say?" You ask him with a raised eyebrow. "It hurt like hell to go through, but... I was more worried about you."

"You were..?" He asks you confused. He's quiet for a moment before he looks at you. "I..." Leon's blue eyes dart away from yours. "I was worried about you..." He admits softly, his cheeks turned a little pink.

"Were two big saps huh?" You ask him with a soft giggle, looking up at him. This gets his hardened expression to soften, you being you. Finally, he just pulls you into a tight embrace. You hug him back with a smile, squeezing him. His arms always made you feel so safe and protected.

You wouldn't trade him for the world.
