You wanna know the worst thing about loving a fandom??? Is that the content that some creators makes is genuinely amazing, and then you find out that creator is a horrible piece of garbage, and you're just like:

"Damn. I want to like this but if I like this then people will just judge me."

A lot of minecraft content creators and fnaf content creators fall into that :(

Like some make BANGER music, and then 1 year later, you find out they're horrible.

And it's like: "I like the music... Can I still listen to the music?" And then so many people are like "YOU'RE SUPPORTING A CREEP"

😭 and I'm just like: "The art is completely separate from the creator..."

I mean. I do think the point people are trying to make is that the problematic person is getting revenue from their art. By listening to their music/watching their videos/whatever they do you are by extension supporting them because most of the time they're getting paid for it by view/stream.

The way I see it is that people are going to listen to and watch what they want to. You aren't going to be able to control another person's internet experience. Bullying someone for enjoying themselves is actively hurting someone more than listening to music made by a problematic creator.

The only exception for this rule I would say is Harry Potter because the revenue made from that is actively being used to harm others.
