Obscuring Evans’s sharp jaw and poreless skin should be garish, like installing carpet atop mahogany floors. To put a beard on Captain America is to mask the literal face of our country. And it would undoubtedly clash with the rest of Rogers’s all-American style, from his appropriately cut hair to his well-fitting, unassuming wardrobe. But when you see it — without prejudice — the beard makes sense. It deserves to be on Captain America’s face. And we want it to be.

I miss the pre-New 52 Tim and Jason dynamic so much. It was basically Jason beating the fuck out of Tim well being all "nothing personal kid I just hate everything about you, your existence and the fact you're breathing right now" and Tim spitting up blood going "what if your mother was a whore, kill yourself" and Jason just deciding right then and there that this kid is his favourite person. Then it just turned into a Tom and Jerry hunt across the city where Jason keeps hitting Tim with the "join me, be my robin" and Tim kicks him in the balls.

Hi!! I saw you do fic recommendations for Avengers fanfic! The post that I saw is a year old, so if you don’t do that anymore, then I completely understand.

HOWEVER, if you do still do fic recs could you be so kind as to lend me a hand? I am looking for Stony fics, but I really despised the Civil War arc that went on in MCU (I grew up with the Avengers Assemble tv show so found family in the Marvel universe is pretty much my lifeblood).

Anyway, I’m looking for works that specifically recognize that Steve is more than kind of traumatized by the fact that he can never go home and hasn’t adjusted to modern living as well as everyone thought. (I think I’m just a sucker for Steve being in emotional pain). I read a few on AO3, but if there’s a wealth to be found, then I’m missing it by a mile. Are there any that you would recommend? (They don’t have to be Stony either).
