All I want from the From the Ashes relaunch is a return to Kate and Illyana just like

Hanging out.

I want Kitty to be teaching with Emma and Illyana suddenly teleports in to hang out with her girlfriend. If we're going to make Kate a normal person instead of a badass pirate then I demand Illyana awkwardly trying to sit still on a coffee date with Kate. I want Kitty to randomly be in the Antarctica kitchen after a stay-at-home date night.

Just give me canon Katyana you cowards.

This right here is why I'm mad at writers, and some game developers (I'm looking at you, Marvel Contest of Champions lol) for forgetting just how profoundly strong Kitty and Illyana's bond is. Which is why, Katyana dreams aside, I was so irritated that Marvel just put their relationship on some forgotten shelf collecting dust in the majority of the Krakoan era.

And then Chris Claremont allegedly really wanted to make Kitty and Illyana lovers but was, of course, denied by Marvel Etc.

Come on, Exceptional X-Men and X-Men (2024)! Put these ladies together lmao

Can we talk about this moment for a second?

Illyana went there as a last attempt to save her life, and when she was told that she was essentially about to die (like any minute now), she pretty much accepted it, and:

- Wanted to know if her brother survived the massacre

- Was happy that the last person she would get to see, and who'd be by her side when she passed, was Kitty.

-- Happy with the assumption that Emma quietly suspected the worst and had sent her someone she knew loved Illyana deeply so she wouldn't be alone in her final moments.

😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

Even though Illyana has developed friendships along the way, in her assumed last moments of her life, all that was on her mind were THE TWO PEOPLE SHE CARES ABOUT THE MOST.

It's such a perfect character consistency moment, and I LOVE IT.

What kind of MCU do you think we would've had if FOX didn't have the rights to cinematic X-Men for so many years? 🤔

Basically, I want to see if people still use the radio for casually listening to music. I noticed I don't use it at all anymore, but growing up, I did.

Now I'm not doing this in a "KiDS THesE dAyS don'T KNow WhAT a raDIo iS" kind of way. I just genuinely wanna know if the live broadcast radio is dying.

Not everyone has streaming services, so I'm sure people do use the radio, I just wanna see what we're looking at.

I wonder if the reactors even knew that the Darkchylde was the same exact woman, and not just a completely different brand new person Morph decided to go into lol 😫

Now, I know she's not mainstream enough to be noticed by newcomers or people who ONLY watched the original show and never branched out, and I'm not mad at them. I want you to know I'm not trying to be a high and mighty "real fan" spitting I-Know-More-Than-You venom.

It's just, Magik is my favorite, and it's kinda dampening to feel like the only one excited about her lol

I hope we get to see her again and they share some of her backstory so newcomers can be intrigued enough to want to learn about her.

The eyes were the closest to the bright red eyes she USUALLY has as Darkchylde, and the tattoo was just for fun lmao Anyway, here's my Dream Visitor, who I modeled after Kitty:

Decided to lean closer towards her look in the first Marauders books, hence her pony, and the scar on her nose lmfao

And yeah.

They're def gonna do it lmfao I highly encourage everyone else to make X-Men inspired runs and to post their Mutant Tavs on tumblr lol

Between her appearance in X-Men '97 as one of Morph's transformations, and her presence in that new game, it was a great day for being a Magik fan.

I think this merits some new art to celebrate for the occasion
