I wanted to post a little meme I made after the stream and recent annoucement lol

I have been reading a lot since the Dutch summer weather is quite autumny with all the rain that has been falling. I have finished Ursula K Le Guin's The Word for World is Forest recently. It was my second time reading it and it was as great as I remember. I hope to look into the focalisation in relation to language and translation!

Currently I am reading Natives by Akala, a second time reading that one as well.

The last few days I have shifted over to a study of language and deconstruction, I have finally finished my readings of Derrida as well. From there I moved to postcolonial theory, which is one of my huge special interests.

Recently I have been reading into Biopower and Biopolitics which finds its origins in Foucault. Agamben's "Homo Sacer" has been extremely interesting, especially because I wish to do some more research in Disability Studies. I am looking forward to reading Lennard J Davis.

Good morning everyone!

This week was so far a week of reading for my courses. I managed to get through Dubliners by James Joyce, Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen as well as Hard Times by Charles Dickens. I must say I adored Joyce and Austen was less bad than I thought it was going to be! Now I only have To the Lighthouse left by Virginia Woolf for this week!

I am in my final Bachelor semester so I will take you along with me on the wild ride that is writing a thesis! this will also include my journey to recovery from anorexia nervosa as well as the struggles of an audhd person in university and my battle for a proper adhd diagnosis! furthermore I hope to find people who are also very much into studying!
