okay, so I don't really know what happened, but for the last at least few months I have like the worst goddamn algorithm ever on pinterest, like it constantly keeps throwing at me the worst fucking pins and people behind them, which is kinda wierd since I've had that account for ig it's over 5 years already and for most of that time I enjoyed that site, but now it's unstandable and I honestly consider uninstalling it atp because I mostly just open it out of habit and see the worst fucking takes possible, even blocking a shitton of people doesn't seem to help anyhow (additionally weird since I literally learned how to block people on pinterest like half of a year ago, I never needed it before) so recently I've started wondering
does anyone else have a problem like this or is it just me ?

Ranking feanárions/sons of feanor on how likely they are to commit cannibalism. From least to most likely.
1)Amord. Wanted to go back home to mom and not be a part of his father’s shit. Couldn’t do it due to morals or fear. He’s as good of a kid a kinslayer can be.
2)Caranthir. The second most perceived normal son, would not do it because he finds it disgusting & morals. He would in fact use his resources to make sure that he never ends up in a scenario where that would happen.
3)Maglor. I just feel like he wouldn’t want to do it even in his lord of the gap era, he’s not that willing to break too many taboos. Morals would stop him.
4)Celegorm. He could do it if times are rough, but just doesn’t want to. He knows that it would be physically bad for him and thus wouldn’t want to do it.
5)Curufin. Im not saying he ate his dad’s ashes but im not denying that thought. Aside from that, I think he leans on the no side but he’d be willing to eat it cus he has a kid to live for. If you disguise the meat first.
6)Maedhros. Has eaten elvish flesh in Angband, willingly and unwillingly. Knows how far he can go and would do it in times of great strife if he doesn’t have any other options.
7)Amras. Grief makes you do funny things, and if he can’t have the other half of his soul then he can at least have the flesh. A lot of people headcanon that the ambarussa got up to weird stuff in Ossiriand and I agree. (Though I like the Amrod dies at logsar version)
#I love how in celery's case there's no morals involved#boyo's a trueborn idgaf'er; real 'it is what it is' guy; pragmatic at heart#and sth about how mae in angband had to break up with any morals he might have had#idk I can imagine *mae post-angband convinced that he has developed celery'ish type of pragmatism there: I think I am more you than me atp#celery who's been watching him getting eaten daily by his guilt over what he did/ was forced to do to survive: no your're not#also amras becoming WeirdTM after amrod's death and especially in ossiriand my beloved♡♡♡♡♡#like if he doesn't cope in ways that make even celery lowkey uncomfortable and asking him if he's okay then literally what's the point#btw it's the first time I meet the concept of curufin eating dad's ashes but omygy you got me here me likey it's sooooo>>>>>>>#excuse me for a while I'll go chew on it#silmarillion#house of feanor#sons of feanor#feanorians

Oathbreaker? No. Give me a character who cannot break their oath, no matter how much they may want to. The oath is a yoke they cannot take off. They are physically unable to do anything that would cause their oath to break. Their oath is a leash made of unbreakable chain and held in the hand of their patron. If it was chosen, it became too much to bear, and yet they were forced to bear it. If it was thrust upon them, there was no ability to say no. The oath as a cage. The oath as a curse.

If you think about it, Fëanor died as he lived: in the throes of invention. Because I think he invented a new way to die.
Other Elves before and after him (well, ig only one Elf before him -) died of sadness, the weariness and sorrow of their souls literally overtaking their bodies' ability to function because Elven fëar are so much more powerful than their hröar. Fëanor, as far as I know, is the only Elf to get so damn mad that his fëa overtook his hröa in flames. Sure his body was weakened by his injuries, but still. Spirit of fire indeed.
#regular person: have you ever been so angry that you cried?#Feanor:...once I've got so angry that I died; next question#silmarillion#the silmarillion#feanor#them elves
