i’m writing a fic (bc ofc i am) and “imbibitor” was obviously underlined as wrong. i hovered over it and it wants to correct to the word “imbibition.” i’ve never heard the word before so as all writers do i looked up the definition.

according to google:

“[imbibition is] the absorption of one substance by another, in particular the uptake of water by a plant or seed.”

the way dan feng accidentally split his power between two beings (dan heng and bailu), leaving them to absorb his destructive capabilities or cloudhymn magic respectively?

dan heng re-absorbing said residual power, the power of the high elder that should not even be his, to help save the luofu?

the fact that imbibitor’s lunae’s basic attack is a lotus, a plant in which the flower petals cannot absorb water????

im very unreasonably pissed about the existence of the mecha minifig suits the ninja have, like you COULD have used that minifig budget for side characters and used the s1 ninja gi for now, or to somehow differentiate two villains aside from head and hair . hell you couldve used that budget on giving sora accurate hair. but no, prioritize the characters who were supposedly meant to be taking a backseat, and not your new main fucking characters ! great idea lego! real smart of you!

after the quiz tomorrow, i wont have deadlines or assessments for a week and a half (its reading week next week) so i should be able to do some writing. i know i said i'd update TBT but uh yeah. i got no excuses for that. wrapping the story up is hard. just know that i want to make everyone's actions make sense and make the conclusion make sense. this is the first time i'm actually making plans for this fic
