Thoughts on Venus placements

!! everything is based purely on my experiences with signs, written with no other purpose than to share my observations and be unserious.

Aries Venus. View public humiliation as a flirting tactic. Will borderline call you stupid and ugly and genuinely expect people to get the hint that they’re actually very interested. Gemini venus. What’s there to say that hasn't been already cried out loud by the casualties of their love. Wandering eye. Don't promise much and deliver even less. Fun tease flirts, will take you on Before Sunrise style date and rot ur brain with all the talk. Like to leave people wondering. Everyone wants to try this one out at least once. Word’s been going around that a non-cheating-gemini Venus has been spotted in the wild but we’re yet to confirm the evidence. 

Cancer venus. Want to be treated like a baby but always end up babying other people. Want to please their loved ones at all times and if not met with instant appreciation become very irritated and sad. Never voice their needs properly. Expect the most distant emotionally constipated people they usually choose as their partners to be mind-readers. Cook-clean-snog love. 

Leo venus. Promise u the moon and the stars but will be too lazy to actually get them. Love themselves first and won't let you forget that. If not received naturally - will drag those compliments out of you manually. At their best great at hyping people up. Love anyone who praises them. Also kinda get attached quite fast. Get jealous and offended easily (I feel like I say this about every Leo placement but what can u do).

Scorpio venus. Insanity falsely taken for being in love. Blood contract on the first date. The ones that giggle at cannibalism=love metaphors. Might just lock you up but in a romantic wayyy... Romance is NOT a joke and ANY attempt making FUN of it WILL NOT slide. Looking around might count as cheating. Also if I may I suggest never leaving them on read..) Sagittarius venus. Often forget that they are in a relationship. Love the fun aspect of dating, but hate everything else. Need someone who constantly shakes things up and makes life interesting for them. In an ideal world, they travel around the globe and have a lot of se make meaningful connections for life. Very playful tho!

Capricorn venus. In relationships become very domestic but it takes a lot for them to actually end up in such. Love language is to cover basic necessities and feel worn out after that. Typically require to be TAUGHT on love and I know there are some people who find this an exciting quest god bless you on that journey. Prob the most rigid Venus in terms of compatibility with others imo. 

Aquarius venus. So fucking random in terms of people they crush on like I can never guess who’s gonna tingle their interest braincell this time. Normally they go for the intellectuals but once they think they’ve got too predictable with it next choice is gonna be wild. Friends with people who have a crush on them and are oblivious to it. Freeze when you get mushy or clingy with them. 

Pisces venus. Takes a village to pull them out of that one abusive dynamic they’ve been perpetually stuck in. Unironically think of themselves as smol beans. I interpret Jinx as one of these ppl who don't consider themselves political bcos the things they casually believe they think are obvious, or indisputable facts. like Jinx will hate the enforcers and want to fight against them, she does so bcos of all the mistreatment that directly impacted her life in terrible ways, but she's 'not political'. Similarly she could e.g. in her mind casually thinks of herself/her home as zaunite/Zaun without ever questioning it bcos that's the terms she grew up with.

So I agree that Jinx wouldn't consciously subscribe to an ideology or fight primarily for a cause but it's also stupid to say she's void of political opinions or beliefs, she didn't grew up in a vacuum. I think that without thinking about it she could casually keep on doing important stuff that has meaning like protecting Zaun from Piltover/Noxus invasion but in her mind not thinking of it as being a part of a movement but a simple 'protecting my home/territory' but by doing so she de facto believes and acts on a 'Zaun should be independent' ideology. If on some level she didn't care about Zaun's independence then she would be fine with an outside force taking over. (and I imagine she won't be in s2)

like she views everything through a selfish lens but those experiences that shaped her are still ones she shares with pretty much all zaunites and that's what we call a social issue, so sometimes when Jinx will try to solve these issues just for herself she'll also solve/have an impact on them for everybody else.

Jinx blowing up the council was primarily for emotional reasons but these are the same emotions Vi felt in the opening scene of ep 1 and these are the same emotions probs any other zaunite felt at least at one point in their life when somebody close to them died bcos of Piltover.

i kinda like the trust/understanding dynamic between Teru and Akane this chapter

No crazy interaction or anything but I like the way chap. 120 show us their not-quite ennemies but not-quite friends - something in between that runs much deeper- kind of relationship.

When Teru started to get a bad feeling and starts making anxious gestures, Akane notices almost right away and, of course, asks him what's wrong.

Look at his face here : he seems, if not genuinely worried for his president, a bit distraught seeing the mighty Teru acting nervous. He doesn't comment too much on it tho.

Teru trusts him enough not to mind sharing with him without hesitation. For someone who I think would tend to hide negative emotions when working with others to not make them anxious, he doesn't really mind wording his worries to Akane. He knows he won't get fazed this easily (well not really, what I mean is he prob. Knows Akane can handle it anyways).

After exorcizing Kou, Teru breaks down. He completely looses his cool.

Kane stops yashiro before her words can overwhelm Teru. Well, I'm not actually sure about this one but it is kinda possible consideration for Teru's mental state is one of the reason he asks Yashiro to back off. The other one, more plausible is that he guessed that what Teru sato make him react like that was probably shocking and didn't want Yashiro and Aoi to see it.

Akane doesn't talk. He stays silent and let's Teru have his silent time. He sees inside the pit. Something that deeply moves him to the point he has to cover his mouth not to scream (or puke). He doesn't make a sound.

I, like most people, think that Kou's body was inside the pit. Akane understood what happened to his kouhai, whom he kinda knew through Teru. And it's the view of this ,not Aoi being engaged, not the world being different, not being the only one that will remember, but this, this is what changes his mind. He will bring the old timeline back.

Is it for Teru though? Seeing him break down with his brother dead from his hand? Or his morals telling him to save Kou?

I don't know. But I can't wait to see what role Akane will play in the next chapters and how he will act towards Teru. Straight up ignoring him? Giving him space? Or trying to confort him thought their weird- not exactly friendship nor hatred relationship? Aidairo outdid themselves this chapter! Can't wait for December!

• Raddy is his primary CG since they live together & Raddy sees Durple as his little brother (Durple usually calls him by name, Roro or big bro :3)

Ahh im down! Here are some ways they'd appreciate MC!! I tried to be fairly general with these? But i have the most experience w jazz, and classical stuff soo idk. I also played bass clarinet and clarinet lol so my bias will prob show

LUCIFER

Casually encourages MC to join 1 of the few clubs at RAD.

He is the 2nd most likely to discuss the formalities of music. Will listen outside your room and mention it casually later, probably after most of his brother have left the dinner table.

Once you grow closer, he's prone to not falling asleep until you sing to him. Soft stuff, even if thats not your normal, he just loves it. Won't ever say it much, but wow it brings him so much comfort.

He used to mind listening when he was trying to do paperwork, but as your relationship progresses, he's a lot more willing. Brings him a little bit of peace.

If you ever decide to post publically, he goes all out to support you. Watches your videos a couple times a day, leaves a single, well thought out comment on the details in your music. An analysis, if you will. Asks his brothers a couple times a week if they've shared it.

MAMMON

Jumps at the chance to support you, even if he's tsundere about it. Comments under different profiles, shares your socials allll over. Especially at his modeling gigs. You'll get traction fairly quickly. Even if it's not what you wanted

Loses his mind if you sing softly to him. He'll feel like he has all your attention just feels so loved and cared for. Will probably get in his feelings and start crying.

Also asks his brothers if they've liked/watched anything you might post.

Tendency to listen outside your door when he hears you singing, even if it's while you shower.

Takes you on late night car rides just to hear you laugh and sing to the radio. He'd drive for hours if you let him.

Definitely falls asleep when you hum or sing slower songs for him. It ends up becoming almost like a routine for him, he starts to struggle to sleep without you.

LEVIATHAN

Takes him quite a while to hear you sing. He just hasn't had the opportunity. The first time he hears you sing, he's captivated. Would never ask you to sing for him outright however, but would stealthily try and get you to karaoke with him. (Like he'd actually sing tho lol)

Probably records it and listens to it sometimes. One of his biggest guilty pleasures.

Once you get closer, he'll turn his game music down to listen to you hum or sing softly to yourself, never mentions it, but enjoys it quietly. Usually feels the blood rush to his face though, as it feels really intimate to him.

Will lowkey ask for help cleaning his room, or asks if he can help you clean yours, just because he knows you'll start singing.

If you ever show him your lyrics, expect him to be speechless. He's pretty blown away by your trust, compliments you quietly, he doesn't want to scare you away.

ASMODEUS

The most outright to ask you to sing for him. He hears you for the first time when he takes you to a party at The Fall. He's captivated instantly, stays close to you to hear you better in the loud surroundings. Claps for sure.

He also takes you to karaoke. He'll sing with you, but lets you have most of the solos. It's odd for him to not be the center of attention, but he absolutely adores showing you off!

Is very likely to record and post a video of you that goes viral because he already has many followers. He is very excited to show you how much love your video got!

Tries to help you come up with song ideas. He's not a ton of help, but he tries!

Asks you to write him a love song. 100%

SATAN

First time he hears you, you're singing softly to yourself in the almost/empty library. He stays behind a stray bookshelf to avoid spooking you. He listens for a while before he slides in the chair next to you.

He leans his head back, closing his eyes, "Have you heard Blue Skies by by Ella Fitzgerald?" He pauses, "you should sing something for me sometime."

Likes to read your song writing, it's like poetry to him. He feels like he's able to understand you more. He likes being closer to you.

Some nights, he'll play music in his room before inviting you in, taking your hand and slow dancing with you. He enjoys the closeness, and he loves listening to you hum softly to the music. After the first couple times, he learned to clear his floor a little.

As you get closer, you're likely to find yourself singing him to sleep. Playing with his soft blonde locks while he dozes off in your lap, his book long forgotten.

He first hears you late at night when he's in the kitchen. He actually stops himself mid-bite for a moment before shaking his head, realizing he can eat and listen at once. He pauses once you finish and step into the kitchen.

"Very nice MC, please do another one." He almost cocks his head a little despite not phrasing it as a question.

Asks you if it's a popular human world song, he's impressed when you tell him that you wrote it! "Do you have any other ones?" He looks like a big puppy and it's so hard to say no, so you stay for a while and sing to him while he eats.

After you grow closer, he finds himself in your lap more often than not, and he's almost as sleepy has Belphie when you sing him those soft songs again.

He first hears you as you come up the stairs to the attic. Your voice is almost luring him to sleep. He's almost enraged after he realizes it's you.

First time he really hears you is when he enters the planetarium and you're already there. He's quiet, you're not entirely comfortable with him yet, and he wants to listen.

Skipping the angst, as you grow closer, he'll ask you to sing him to sleep. He enjoys laying in your lap in the planetarium while you sing him something.

He's likely to start asking you regularly about your writing. "Anything new today, MC?" frowns a little when you say no.

He's uncharacteristically eager to see and hear your new work, especially as you grow closer.

Very likely you'll have him and Beel laying in your lap fairly often while the drift off to sleep at the sound of your voice.

OOC | Eilionora & the Tournament

eilia may have fewer options and opportunities than most, but she hasn't been idle, either! as we know, @forgottenpercy was able to reach out to eilia and @forgottenarias on behalf of the rebellion, and eilia -- whose been chomping at the bit for an opportunity to strike out against roderick and help her people -- jumped at the chance!

i do imagine that she probably asked percy if he'd heard anything abt siobhan and was frankly disheartened to hear that he hadn't but she's tryna remain optimistic nonetheless!

swapping the trophies for counterfeits under roderick's very nose took some doing, but eilia was glad to do it, and her voluminous skirts were no small help in the matter, either. but more so she was happy to share her extensive knowledge of the citadel with them -- both for use in the heist and, doubtless, in the future!

re: roderick, she's tryna give everyone the impression still that it'll never happen but the worse things get the more and more she's despairingly realizing that that's a horribly real possibility. getting in w the resistance has given her a lil bit of hope that maybe!! things might go another way tho!! so she's probs seeming generally cheerier -- when asked she will say it was being permitted to go out to the tourney and be in the sunshine etc heehee

eilia is also formulating a plan of her ~own that she hopes to pass on to percy when she's got the details hammered out, but -- now that she has some access to the outside world and specifically forces outside of stafford, basically the plan is to to starve out the citadel, forcing roderick to rely on provisions from across the empire to feed himself and the ppl. now, she's aware that he can and will do that and w the harbor right there it'll be straightforward enough but it ~will make it difficult for him to press forward from outside of the citadel bc he'll still need to eat and if he leaves the coast that'll become a much more difficult proposition so!! its not gonna really materially change anything its just gonna make logistics tougher on him specifically in striking at the resistance

this will require basically blocking off hanthom and malconaire (iirc those're the two closest counties/breadbaskets for the citadel?) from stafford, but eilia has an idea for that too, w the coming of summer there's gonna be lotsa rain and if a couple of dams happened to ~*~somehow~*~ be popped up at strategic routes (esp bc we know a big, strategic river flows right by malconaire, for example!) a lot of flooding could fairly easily cut stafford off, and what w wild flood waters being difficult and dangerous to navigate even by boat and the citadel itself leaving precious little room for farming, well, looking to the rest of the empire to ship you stuff becomes a must

i ~do think @forgottengodfrey would (probs unwitting to eilia's plan frankly hahaha but even if he knew...) counter by sailing out into the sea, around, and coming to stafford by sea -- edmund's forces coming to the relief of the beleaguered city! -- but even so itd take time etc and yeah!!

teehee the silly thing is that i have nothing planned for anyone except for their basic backstories T-T i was thinking about the tsukacchako inspired ocs being the first "three person round" of alien stage cause normally weve seen them do only two but thats just an idea OR something would happen with one of them causing them to pull out of the competition but id really like for the three of them to compete ....

i know i definitely need to start thinking about how the tsukacchako ocs (i need a name for the three of them T-T) got together, that could be fun to write in the future .... i also need to think more about their like characters without making them copies of tsukacchako, cause like i said before theyre just like skeleton versions right now they need more MEAT

now onto ur sillies .... i def think hoshiko would get along with all of them!!! in my head rn shes kinda like cindy but way less naive and not AS nice (like, not "make flower crowns for everyone in the class" nice but still "goes up to everyone and starts a conversation" nice). i think shed like kaaya the most out of ur sillies, i can see her going up to her and saying "ur hairs pink like mine!! and i love ur clips!! do you like space?" shed prob like minwoo the least tho, shed think his attitude would ruin the vibes

nariko doesnt really like anyone so she wouldnt like them T-T if theyre around minwoo when he says something self-deprecating theyd probably be like "yeah thats right youll never be like me IM the main character!!!" i can see her liking (altho liking is a strong word) atomu the most, she sees his determination and dedication and if atomu ever asked for help with singing or like rehearsing shed probably (after a while) say yes

HELLO!!! let's do it!!!!! this post is probs also gonna be a bit of a mess but it's mainly about sociopath lily who i love and miss dearly.

firstly, i would highly recommend paying a visit to jen and asking her about the baby killing fic <- link to the tag <3 bc godddd.... makes me crazy. but lily killing james (and harry) in general is something that can be so special.

so this is a lily who's careful and strategic and calculated and who's public image is a purposeful performance, she's the one in control of the expectations that people have of her - a lot of the time, for me, her ultimate goal is to be Remembered, or Revered. she wants glory and she doesn't care what she has to do to get it. coming to hogwarts as a muggleborn, she was basically starting at the bottom of the ladder in terms of people that would make the history books. but from there, she was top of her class, and in the slug club, and head girl, someone important in the school, remembered fondly by the teachers. after hogwarts tho, she's still just a muggleborn, and in that political climate, with the war and also just the general blood supremacy ideology, there's not much glory to be found there. but, she has james, the boy who's been loudly pining after her for years, a pureblood with a lot of social standing even if he's a blood-traitor. in fact, it's for the best that he's a blood-traitor bc she's a gryffindor and therefore, according to stereotypes, one of the good guys, on the light side of the war. if that even makes sense.....

so she marries james, and it's a big event, and now she has the potter name behind her. it's a very pragmatic approach to things, but james is mostly inoffensive, and he only sees what she wants him to see, and he gives her a much more solid social standing. and also simultaneously she's now fighting on the front lines of a war and she makes herself an indispensable member of the order. but she's still just a soldier. and then she has harry, and i don't think she really wants him but as much as she's in control of the expectations, she's still a pureblood wife now, and imo they're a very traditional, get married young, have kids young kinda bunch, even the 'progressive' ones and she's subject to that and sacrifices must be made and so harry is born

and i think she's thrilled when she finds out about the prophecy, bc with the war, she's kinda plateauing a little in terms of what she can do to make a name for herself and the prophecy means that she's Important - 'born to those who have thrice defied him' - and that she has the chance to Do something, the approach of some kind of glorious apotheosis. now, if we're talking canon-compliant sociopath lily it's the kinda thing where she decides that if she has to die to reach the glory she feels she deserves, then that's absolutely what she's going to do and she won't feel any qualms about that. taking that pragmatism to the extreme.

i think ultimately (and this is where the murder comes in), it just depends how the cookie crumbles from a certain perspective. like if the martyrdom that she can get from her death is worth the months in hiding with just james and the baby, if it's worth having to share that martyrdom to a certain extent with james and potentially harry, if the uncertainty of what might happen w the prophecy is too great to risk her entire legacy on - she can't just die and have it mean Nothing. if she decides she can't risk it or it's not worth it, i can very much see her deciding to cut her losses with the public image that she's so carefully built up, cut her ties with the life she's lived so far, and fuck off somewhere. the glorious apotheosis is the murder of her husband and son. she doesn't think she's going to get where she wants to go if she stays (she's also very impatient and really, she's been waiting long enough) and decides that the only way out of that life is doing something drastic. also it's so cathartic to just let go and kill them. also it's so sexy.

in baby killing fic i think (?? jen correct me if i'm wrong i may be confusing this w something else idk) she blames their deaths on voldemort which i loooooove but i also like the idea of her just upping sticks and leaving completely after the murder, and watching the aftermath from afar as people are like 'lily would never' and 'something must have happened to her' and the major uproar that results from it all considering her disappearance is surrounded by both the end of a influential pureblood family line and also the death of the child of the prophecy (even if less people know about that latter part). it's another way of leaving a mark. she becomes a Figure of Importance. nobody knows where she is, there's a whole big mystery surrounding her, she's front page in all the papers, it's a different kind of glory. and also so satisfying. i think she also quite likes the fact that she robs voldemort of the chance of killing them. like she would think that she was the one who had to put up with them for so long, why should voldemort be the one that gets to kill them?!?!?

idk i just think it's nice to let lily be messy and impulsive and murderous and just kinda snapping and deciding that she's had enough of her charade. good vibes yk. and then after she like lives the rest of her life somewhere in hiding, she changes her entire appearance and gets a fake name and a new life and maybe she like. makes a name for herself by like inventing potions or enchanting things in like. cairo or something. like she's reached the end of her the performance of 'lily evans', gone out with a bang, and now she's something new, something more. or idk maybe she goes on a killing spree and eventually kills herself too before she gets caught..... depends on my mood

(also. in terms of lily killing james like. in a fic. jen and i have spoken a bit about this big tomlily au - tomlily post for those who are as of yet unenlightened - where we've fucked w timelines and stuff but tom and lily are basically partners in crime/racing each other to achieve immortality. and they're looking into like. all different methods for it. and lily marries james bc she traces the Cloak of Invisibility down from ignotus peverell to the potters and she thinks maybe she could try and unite the hallows. and then she later kills him, taking the Cloak as she does but also using his death to make her first horcrux. tom's like standing in the corner of the room so proud as lily brutally kills her husband and then performs a horrible piece of the dark magic to secure her immortality...... omg what if she makes a horcrux out of the cloak... like tom does out of the Resurrection Stone.... jen are you seeing this?? i'm not entirely sure about it.... will consider further. anyway then tom and lily go on the run together travelling about looking for like, the philosopher's stone or some kind of fountain of life idk. anyway i think it's very sexy but that's kinda just a side note)
