He was a nomad, travelling wherever the wind took him. He loved seeing and learning about the different cultures and traditions he came across, and along the way he became quite the dancer, having learned from different places how they dance and adding parts of it to his own style

But at some point he became a ring fighter

I imagine that he caught the eye of Apollo during a sports competition but im not too sure about the specific details yet tho lol

Sonic definitely didn’t wanna be a muse and was grouchy about the whole situation but decided to try to make the best of it, and after a while he begrudgingly admitted that it wasn’t so bad, specially when he starts a rivalry with the muse of history and things start to get more interesting

consider how confusing tom riddle's powers must have been to him. his childhood magic wasn't just random things he could dismiss; he gained a high degree of control over his powers and developed them substantially. and yet he lived completely cut off from the magical world. maybe the first time a snake spoke to him he too wondered if maybe he was going mad. and even after he determined that wasn't so he had no idea why he could do the things he could do or who or what he was.

Roronoa Zoro x Reader

Look, I gotta be honest, I've never actually watched One Piece outside of the episodes that would air on Toonami back in the day, and I only really cared enough about it because my brother-in-law and my irl best friend both LOVE One Piece... and now my older brother is getting into One Piece too... but like I said in a previous post, I caved and ended up watching the One Piece Live Action (though I guess it didn't help that seeing Taryn cosplay as Zoro kinda reawakened my crush on ZoloZoro as a 4kids)... and I'm also sick right now and I have nothing better to do than write some Zoro boyfriend headcanons apparently. Aside from watching the OPLA, I did do my research on Zoro.. research being reading his page on the OP Wiki 😂😂

The way Mackenyu said that he looked at his wife and knew that he wanted to marry her (supposedly, I couldn't find any concrete sources for this save for a YouTube video using TTS... but hey, it fed my imagination for this), I felt that so much for Zoro.

Of course, it doesn't happen overnight for Zoro. It takes a while, maybe even years, for him to look at you and be like, "I wouldn't mind settling down with you if possible." Oh boy, but when it does happen, he becomes very perceptive of you.

Just like his training, he takes his relationship with you very seriously, and even if he doesn't act on his feelings for you straight away--because one, he has a strong sense of duty to Luffy first, and two, you'd be his first and maybe only romantic partner ever--he'd still reserve a certain amount of softness and gentleness to you when not in the presence of others.

Let's go back to Zoro's perceptiveness really quickly. Yes, my man can be a dumbass at the best and worst of times and we all love that about him, but when it comes down to what's important, he knows how to analyze and read the situation. So, because he views you as someone important and someone he should take seriously, he's going to personally be making sure that you're okay, mentally, emotionally, and physically. He's that dedicated to you.

There will be times where his loyalty to Luffy might have to take center stage in the relationship, especially if its during a critical juncture, rest assured that he will do his best to make it up to you afterwards. He doesn't voice it often because of his strong loyalty to Luffy, but there are brief times in which he wishes that he could just spend time with you.

Now, Zoro isn't one for PDA, he gets very embarrassed by it because showing affection in public isn't something that he's comfortable with doing, but, get him out of public and into private, that man is on you, no question. The most affection he's comfortable with showing in public is you two taking a nap together, or even sharing a bottle together (which is very hard to get him to do, the man loves his alcohol, so congrats if you manage it).

As an official romantic partner, he's actually very sweet. Yes, he can come off as very blunt and cold sometimes, but he's just being honest with you. To him, its more important to be truthful than to sugarcoat things. For you, however, he's working on saying things more gently if in the case you get hurt by his initial blunt tendencies. Past that, however, he tends to you with the same care he tends to his swords. He sees a fruit or snack that you adore in the markets when he's helplessly lost? He'll absolutely buy it for you. Finds an item you've been wanting for a while? Don't worry, he's already paying for it. He finds out that you maybe feel a bit homesick? He'll begrudgingly ask Sanji to cook one of your favorite hometown dishes. He sees that you're feeling down on yourself? He's there to either quietly lend an ear or his presence, whichever you need. My man is an attentive boyfriend.

Also also, Zoro is a man of few words, so don't expect to hear him say, "I love you," very often, but that's okay. He's a man of few words, but his actions speak so much for him. You can feel him say those words in the way he kisses you thoughtfully, in the way he holds you so securely to him when you two nap or sleep together, in the way he dutifully monitors your alcohol intake (if you drink alcohol of course), in the way he tends to you carefully if you get hurt in a fight. To him, words are useless and actions mean so much more.

In other words, Zoro would make the best boyfriend in his special own way.

Thinking of how "left me like a book on a shelf" is from River's POV and therefore does not mean it is the entirety of the story much like how "the Doctor does not and has never loved me" was uttered from a River who was grieving.

Like the Doctor could have spent a long time putting the TARDIS in stationary orbit around the Library. The Doctor could have puttered about with the Library from years before it was shut down to ensure that everything would go smoothly while doing his best not to change a single thing. And on days when it is too hard, he just stares at the Library from his perch on the TARDIS door. Waiting, hoping, thinking. Trying to find a way out for her. For them.

And he does!

He finds a hundred ways to get her out of the data core. But...something always goes wrong. It's somehow never good enough. She's back, but she's not entirely there.

So he scratches it out, slaps himself, and tries again.

And again.

And again.

But his plans always fail.

But they don't. Not really. His plans could work. Could have worked. His beloved Sexy would help him. She'd always help him when it comes to her Water. But he was too scared. Too frightened of failure. Because one single mistake. One. Single. Mistake. And she's gone. He can never get her back. Forever.

So he runs. And runs. And runs. Until centuries has gone by and companion come and gone. Until he met a younger, more alive version of her. And then they had Darillium. And oh the joys of wonderful joys, what a night that was.

But things end. Even for him. They had to part ways again. Had to say goodbye. So he tries again. Picks up what his previous self had shelved. He tries. Oh how he tries.

But still. That fear exists. Is it worth it? Can he finally accomplish what he'd started a literal lifetime ago?

On the rare moments she allows herself to succumb to sleep she goes to their his her study. She takes a moment to take everything in. It's unrecognizable now – the study that once was theirs filled with warmth and laughter and-

Every single space was taken. Covered by plans of plans of plans spanning...two...lifetimes now. Sexy still kept it just as it was the last time he she had been in there.

Their His Her favorite throw was still where it was – on their his her favorite corner of their his her favorite couch.

Nothing had changed but everything had changed.

She curled up and buried her face hoping it would still smell of her (It did. They never knew how it worked but somehow her smell still lingered anyway. They thought they were hallucinating at first but other people had been able to smell it too. Sometimes they forget but Sexy also lost her too).

She was a he again. The same face they had four lifetimes ago. The same face who was the first to keep the memory of their meeting.

But wh- what? Why? How? Is this it? Is this the body that finally brings her back home? A fitting act really. He put her in there and so he'll also put her out of there.

But... she wasn't there. Nothing was there. Nothing but chunks of debris and ashes and smelted...somethings.

When he blinked his eyes open (when had he closed them?), Donna's worried face greeted him. He blinked again and blinked. Nothing changed. Everything has changed. He had waited for far too long. He had made her wait for far. too. long. He feared of failing her but now he actually has failed her.

Everything was bland now. Was it just him or is everything a bit...on the side of grey? Donna looks at him like he might break. (He won't. He's a Time Lord. Time Lords don't break.) Even Sylvia had taken to treating him a bit more kindly.

He goes off alone with Sexy. His return to the Noble-Temple (Temple-Noble) household becomes fewer and further in between. One day he finds himself in Venice. Wonderful Venice. His Pond and her Roman (who wasn't yet a Roman) had gone here. There were vampires. And running and –

River?

No silly. River wasn't there.

He blinked. And blinked again. Made sure the sky was blue and the clouds still fluffy white. But was that his leather jacket that just whizzed by past him? Wait. Hold on. That was... Was that? Oh no. It wasn't. It couldn't be. Did they? No. They couldn't have.

But of course, apparently they did. Because that was actually his leather jacket wearing self that just passed by him again(?) tugging along his very-much-not-dead wife along running from... Hold on. Why are they running? What- Who's shooting at her?!

hello, world

not that i'm new to the world, but i'm fairly new to this world. and before i go on, hi, i'm mittu ravi. i go by any/all pronouns.

i'm 22, and i write. mostly free verse poems and prose, but i sometimes have occasional musings that might be longer form. i am also working on flash fiction and short stories. and sometimes, i just do random things. i'm here for a good time, not for a long time, so catch me when you catch me, and don't be afraid to say hi.

Dash Event: The Contest of Strife

TV screen across multi-verse went silent or were suddenly turned on. Radio stations were whiched to different channel an announcement was made:

"WELCOME ONE AND ALL TOOO:

Suddenly a flashy man in red suit came into view on the screens. This man had a pink pompadour and OUTRAGE glasses on while holding a golden mircophone. "GOOD EVENING/MORNING/AFTERNOON TO MANY BEINGS OF MULTI-VERSE. We have such a treat for you all HERE today."

He smirked as twirl the golden mircophone in his hands. "The higher ups as they like to call themselves. Seek enterainment so we have gather today some of GREATEST being across the dimisions. These beings will be locked into FIGHT to death STRIPPED of all their godly or ungodly powers. FORCED to combat as mere-mortals. ALL for sake our contest.

THE CONTEST OF STRIFE." Rave lights hower the screen as stage appeared under this strange man.

"I am HUMBLE The Announcer. Ringermaster of these games and spokesmen for....THE HIGHER UPS. Please stay tuned as next up we will be announcering the team make ups and INTRODUCING THEM."

Zach is the star of the university's soccer team. He's your typical blond-haired, blue-eyed popular jock. He may come across as superficial, and is often underestimated. He's not really book-smart, but a quick learner. Zach is very friendly, outgoing, sweet-natured, but also uses sarcasm from time to time. He comes from a loving family that supports him. He is very close to his parents and his baby-sister Avery. Being her big brother and her best friend, Zach will protect her fiercely. He is a fun guy, who is much more sensitive than you might think.

He likes living in the moment, taking care of his loved ones, and pizza. He dislikes when those he cares for are hurt. He is scared of the future.

Madoka Kaname

A recently transformed magical girl and even more recently chubby girl, she's recently pushed the 220lbs mark, making her fights against witches even harder!! With a (rather alarmlingly quickly fattening) team of magical girls at her side, however, she's still not faced any real adversity from her foes.

Sayaka Miki

Madoka's trusted friend has also been growing heavy since turning into a magical girl, now 240lbs... Confident and outspoken, her weight has added only a little embarrassment to her life, and she still does her best to help Madoka at every step...

Mami Tomoe

400lbs and counting, Mami is the heaviest of the team, and has been fat since before Madoka and Sayaka met her- not that the girls' questionable eating habits have helped her lose weight, of course. She doesn't seem to struggle much with combat even at her staggering size, even competing with the others in terms of athleticism at times, and just as good as a shot as always.

Aloof, mysterious and only 100lbs, Homura is the only member of the team who could be described as skinny. She tends not to speak much, and seems to have a certain focus on Madoka (much to her confusion), but the girl seems not to be actively hostile, and even helps fighting witches sometimes. But she has neglected to notice her waistline slowly beginning to bulge...
