Rabbit Marcille and stoat Chilchuck, yay for rabbitstoat au, for no reason for funsies! This is here that I reveal humanoid monsters are my top favorite thing to draw actually. I really like centaur Marcille x satyr Chilchuck so this is kinda in the same vein~ I was gonna do weasel Chil at first but then friendo said a stoat’s personality fits him more and I said yes chief I trust you w my life. Speaking of, my own Chil stoat-sphinx design is partially inspired by said friend’s here!

Chilchuck playfighting and trying to "teach her a lesson" bc she's not taking him seriously so he pounces on her and pins her down but she's just giggling and smiling and beaming and suddenly she’s bigger too she’s not just a ball of fluff all stretched and it all makes him feel a little something. Chil wanting to get back at her for her teasing but he can’t go too hard on the threatening bc he’ll want to pounce on her one way or another if he gets too caught up in it whooops 💞 Timeless marchil staple, put that man in situations

Smaller predator x bigger prey animal is very fun, thank you lucky-fy’s dunmeshi beastars au for making me think of them that way… It adds to it I think, that sort of "well even if I do want you you’re out of reach" bc like even if the predator does manage to kill it it’d have a hard time eating it all right away and idk idk…. It’s that "No. No she’s offlimits" he says at himself bc ‘it wouldn’t work out’ even if it feels right… The sort of going against nature in both that they wouldn’t want to kill each other and that the dynamic shouldn’t be going this way around, and that despite everything pointing to how they shouldn’t be able to work out they can still make their relationship into what they want it to be. -gestures- Metaphors. Well sorta gdbdga in this AU I just think about them frolicking in the fields on sunny days then having tension once in a blue moon and that’s it lmao. "I can’t return your feelings because I’d only hurt you in the long run" "🧍‍♀️bruh be for real". Chilchuck guilt & longing meanwhile Marcille is just chilling having the time of her life, either blissfully unaware or just waiting for him to get his head out of his ass

It’s like how Chilchuck is so tall for a half-foot, within half-foot circles he has no problem being seen as very much a man and a rather well-ofd handsome one at that, but as soon as it’s with other races the dynamic is completely changed and he’s kinda stripped of that aspect of himself in social dynamics. No weasel or mouse would belittle the graveness of a stoat as a predator but wolves and foxes and hawks may laugh at them yk what I mean. Sighh sigh sigh sigh. Them. He’s her rotten soldier, her sweet cheese, her good-time boy

Hello HMSW Terraria headcanoner here hi

I see you asked me to elaborate on my Terraria HMSW headcanons......... Rubs hands evilly like a fly (unless it was a joke and I misunderstood in which case my apolocheese 💔💔)

So, Heart's class is kinda obvious since guns and stuff, but I also think that Heart with bombs would be a hilarious thing to imagine

I think Mind would be a summoner because to me he just seems like the type to not get his own hands dirty when others could do it for him (also the Spinal Tap would definitely fit him) (btw his favorite summons would be the Stardust Dragon, the Terraprisma, the Magic Daggers and the Desert Tiger)

Soul principally because of the Inferno Fork but I'm just realizing there's actual tridents in Terraria???????? I'm actually stupid I never noticed 💔💔💔💔💔💔 ANYWAYS, for some reason outside of the Inferno Fork I think Soul would be related to magic...,.,..,...,. So yeah B)

And Whole....... I'm gonna be honest I Do Not Know, I just think he'd be the type to want to go against enemies with a sword (or a yoyo??????? Seriously why is that a melee weapon /silly) and he'd look so badass with swords imho

I can see Melee Soul and Mage Whole tho, those classes could fit them amazingly as well and I will need to consider that B]

Btw bonus headcanons: Heart would have a Baby Imp, Mind would have a mushroom tinted Fennec Fox and Soul would have a red tinted Wisp B]

you’re very right about ranged heart . i do think he’d prioritize guns over bows ofcourse [actually daedalus stormbow may be an exception that feels like him] & you are Also right bombs would be very good . or rockets maybe give that guy a rocket launcher

i didn’t totally see summoner mind when i read it originally in the other post but stardust dragon is so real actually you’ve convinced me 100% that guy is So stardust set . i do also think he’d like raven staff but maybe i am biased because i just like raven staff a lot

i will be real i completely forgot the inferno fork existed but you areso smart for that . i can certainly see mage soul [i also think something like shadowbeam staff has his feel] i just swapped him & whole around because i am very annoying about whole & in my head he is arguably the most ? frail ???? of the four ?? which made me struggle to imagine him in melee . but leaning towards yoyo has actually changed my mind completely that guy would Totally fuck with yoyos . & beetle armor . [once again my own biases for favorite items is showing i fear]

i also think i like melee soul especially because imagining him with the daybreak is doing things to my brain

Periodically think about these descriptions of Bane from 3e Faiths and Pantheons that feel distinctly like elements of Gortash's look in the game. I have to imagine that this is intentional, but it does make it stand out that Bane's avatar is a young man. It feels like an aspect of self-styling that's endured from a much younger age and is reaching its limit, becoming more and more worn out... there's something a little pathetic about that feeling of clinging, isn't there? Evoking the image of this boy-god at such an age? I said the mid life crisis thing last week as a joke, but ahaha, perhaps it's really not. The gap between an aging human with limited time and pristine, unchanging divinity... I find it interesting. Obviously you have two older men in the canon Chosen, but Ketheric unquestionably wears his age with the dignity of a proud patriarch. He dresses as himself, not in the image of a youthful avatar. Perhaps I simply like the contrast evoked by reading this as a form of insecurity or a symbol of power once-potent wearing ever thinner as it reaches its limits.

When I think about it, I think one of my favorite things about the Curse of DarKastle lore is how it presents an almost comical inversion of the classic Beauty and the Beast story. Instead of being rude to and angering a witch who curses him to be trapped in a beastly form until true love can break his curse, Prince Ludwig gets startled by a witch and howls, to which she responds by bestowing werewolf powers upon him--I don't think the ride specifies, but it seems like he can turn at will? Or it may have been more emotionally linked. But in any case, it's not presented as a curse (in spite of the ride's name -- I think that comes later when everyone gets trapped as ghosts, at least in my interpretation) but rather as a gift in service of his "dark destiny". She prophetically tells him that he's going to become the "wicked ruler of a corrupt kingdom" and then turns into a wolf herself and actively guides him in overthrowing his parents and ruling the kingdom with an iron fist. It's like the same setup as the witch in Beauty and the Beast, only instead of trying to teach him a moral lesson, the witch in Curse of DarKastle looked at this awful little prince and went "I can make him worse" and then enabled and encouraged his many subsequent murders. It's such a wild story setup for a ride and I kind of love how bonkers it is.

“You don’t like it?”

Ron’s free hand smacked up to his eyes to cover them. “It’s not that,” he sobbed. He tried to take calming breaths, but it was becoming harder to breathe— harder to stay quiet. “Everything feels wrong. All the time.”
