Ginyu Force Headcanons

A long time coming, several months in fact. I am so sorry to the anon who asked for these. I hope you still see these. As always SFW, I like to keep my blog a safe place. As always, if these overlap with anyone else’s it is simply coincidence. Most of these are pretty darn silly, I have gone with five for each member, plus an extra five for the group as a whole. Who doesn’t love the Ginyu Force, hehe?

Bonyu

Completely no-nonsense, not just with posing. Hence why she left, she needed to be around more ‘intelligent’ minds.

Related to Jeice in some way – maybe cousin or sister. I am not basing this solely on visual clues, she can use Crusher Ball after all.

Given her refusal to pose, had she been on Namek then perhaps the tables may have turned on Goku and Vegeta (well, at least for a little while – of course, the boys would eventually win).

Furthermore, she is likely the most competent when it comes to fighting as she is not leaving herself wide open much like the others had. She would be serious, and she wouldn’t be spending her fights taunting or arguing about candy with her teammates.

She takes every aspect of her job seriously and expects the others to do the same. Therefore, finds Taino annoying for her fangirling over the squadron (if you know, you know).

Burter

I reckon Burter may have the biggest sweet tooth of the entire squadron.

The poor guy is a little scared of women because of his relationship with his mother growing up.

By extension gets a little scared of Bonyu if she shouts or gets mad.

Thinks of the Ginyu Force as his family, worries about for whatever reason combing with the Armoured Squadron.

Absolutely games with Jeice, however, knows when to stop unlike his comrade. The team comes first.

Jeice

Swears like a sailor sometimes – gets told off by Captain Ginyu if he gets caught, Jeice is the youngest for the sake of my headcanons.

Unsurprisingly collects baseball cards.

Has most definitely slacked off to play video games on more than one occasion.

Too cocky for his own good at times. Jeice can also be a bit too openly flirty at the worst possible times.

This boy never runs out of energy and I reckon after Ginyu and Bonyu is probably the smartest. He definitely earned his second in command position for good reason.

Ginyu

A complete romantic should he become involved with someone.

Likely tries to manage any Frieza Force social media seeing as he is such a team player.

Ballroom dancing is a (not so secret) passion of Ginyu’s.

Has a stash of ice cream cake, it’s his favourite snack.

Likely gags anytime he sees a fly now, yes, I’m operating on the idea that he somehow got his body back from the frog. An AU if you will.

Guldo

A little insecure because he’s one of the smallest in size amongst the Frieza Force.

Also, a little worried sometimes that he isn’t worthy of the Ginyu Force as he isn’t as physically strong.

Of all of them, Guldo is the one most likely to find a way out of training, he’s a bit too reliant on stopping time and using psychic abilities.

Would be the one most likely to betray the Ginyu Force in favour of the Armoured Squadron. He’s an opportunist.

Get’s easily jealous if the others become close to outsiders in case he gets replaced.

Recoome

The biggest sweetheart if you get to know him.

I will assume Recoome works harder than the others too. He loves his job.

May act like a dumb brute but there is a brain there which he uses to his advantage seeing as he is underestimated so much. (By enemies anyway)

Treats Guldo the best of all members, he definitely looks out for the smallest member.

Absolutely still partakes in ballet, it has never left him.

Ginyu Force as a Whole

Jeice and Burter are 100% dating. (Simply for my headcanons, I am not forcing this on anyone, I promise.)

Mess with one, you mess with them all. That is a given.

They definitely run some form of fitness club for special training. Likely work anyone who shows up to the bone. They have a reputation to uphold as Frieza’s strongest after all.

In some parts of the universe, they are perhaps treated like celebrities. Parts of the Frieza Force are likely famous, and the Ginyu Force is most definitely one of those parts.

Have absolutely coerced Frieza or other members of the Frieza Force to do silly and embarrassing things on more than one occasion. Some light hearted evil!

Ginyu was trying to have the Ginyu Force practicing their moves the include a fifth member, Zarbon had called Ginyu and gave him information on his daughter.

Ginyu seen Mikumi around the ship, usually shadowing Zarbon or they would inspect or look around, Ginyu was already infatuated with her and felt a genuine connection.

He didn't have the balls to approach her, mainly due to overhearing from many lower ranked soldiers on how "dangerous" Zarbon was when it came to his daughter. So Ginyu stayed away.

It came as a shock, however, when Zarbon called him and asked him to include Mikumi in a trial run for a fifth slot in the Ginyu Force, Ginyu readily accepted wanting a chance to speak to Mikumi. So now here he was, teaching the other 3 on a new formation.

Guldo fell over, Jeice and Burter groaned. Recoome seemed to be annoyed.

"Captain Ginyu, why the fuck are we even needing a fifth member?" Burter asked.

"It's only a trial run, we don't know if they'll stay." Ginyu said.

"Aw, it was starting to get boring with all you 4..." Guldo said, "N-Not like I don't enjoy you all!" He sputters.

"I wouldn't mind a fifth member, it spices things up." Jeice smirks and smiled.

"I agree with Guldo and Jeice!" Recoome said.

"Look, I don't know how-" Burter begins before the door opened and Mikumi came in. Burter's attitude immediately changed upon seeing her.

"Ah, she is here." Ginyu said, walking up to her.

"Ugh, a girl." Burter groaned, but snuck a peek at her.

"A GIRL!?" Guldo asked.

"Finally, it was starting to become a total sausage fest here." Jeice smirked.

"Wow, she's PRETTY!" Recoome said.

"Ignore them." Ginyu said, waving his hand away from the others. "Welcome to the Ginyu Force."

"Thanks Captain Ginyu! I am glad to spend time with all of you. For a short time." Mikumi smiled. Ginyu's face blushed and looked away.

"Right, however long you may be here for, I hope you can enjoy your time with us." Ginyu clears his throat. "Now, let me introduce you to your teammates."

"Of course."

Ginyu escorted her over to the other three.

"This is Burter." Ginyu said, gesturing to the blue tall male.

"Seriously, why is a girl joining us?" Burter asked, secretly admiring her.

"This is Guldo." Ginyu said, pointing to a short lime green male.

"If you need someone to teach you how to dance on a bed hit me up~" Guldo flirts, Mikumi blushed, which led to the other 4 getting mad.

"This is Jeice." Ginyu said. slightly annoyed about Guldo's comment. He points to the red short male.

"Hello, I can show you a better time than Guldo~" Jeice flirts, pissing off Guldo and Ginyu, while Burter scoffs and Recoome glared daggers in the back of Jeice's head.

"Jeice... Shut the fuck up." Ginyu snaps at his second in command, causing everyone to get a little spooked.

"What, I was just joking!" Jeice said.

"Lies, you weren't fucking joking." Burter said, to his friend.

"Whatever, if you can't take a joke then it's on ya." Jeice rolled his eyes, Ginyu tried to take a deep breath to calm himself down before responding again.

"This is Recoome." Ginyu points to a normal looking human, and Recoome didn't know what to say, he wanted to respond like Guldo and Jeice, in the presence of someone as beautiful as her, but didn't want to concur the wrath of his buddies.

"Hey, nice to meet you." Recoome said. Which caused the others to slightly relax.

"And you already know me! I am Captain Ginyu! And together we're..." Ginyu began.

"THE GINYU FORCE!" They all said in unison posing.

"Now, all that introductions are over, are you ready to train for the trial period?" Ginyu asked.

"Of course!" Mikumi smiled.

[The Z-Fighters sat in the grass with their loved ones, telling them about their adventures in the other world when they started talking about their trip to Namek to rind the Namekian Dragonballs, then Aoda mentioned the Ginyu Force.]

Idia (Tablet): The who?

Aoda: The Ginyu Force. They were a group of 5 Members who were considered to be the strongest group that Frieza had in his arsenal, each of them were rather...flamboyant.

Ortho: How so?

Marcus: Starting from the bottom, there was Guldo, a short, green, four-eyed creature who could stop time—but only while holding his breath. Next was Recoome, the strongest member of the force, even taller and stronger than I was. Then there was Burter, known as the Blue Hurricane, who was the fastest member of the team. Following them were the force's second-in-command, Jeice, also known as the Red Magma, and finally, their leader, Ginyu. While Ginyu wasn't the strongest, he possessed the most dangerous ability.

Azul: Which was?

Jayden: His Body Chance.

Jamil: Body Chance?

Darius: Ginyu's ultimate ability allowed him to switch bodies with anyone he deemed stronger than himself, or he used it as a means to escape death. When Goku arrived at Namek, Ginyu observed Goku's power level through his scouter. In response, he severely damaged his own body before switching bodies with Goku. However, the drawback was that Ginyu couldn't access Goku's full power, such as the Kaioken technique, which significantly increased Goku's power level.

The Royal Henchmen

[Part 2/last part]

The five space capsules have finally landed on the planet. The cold-hearted Emperor of the Universe, who rules his dominion with terror and an iron fist, knows that he will soon possess all the Dragon Balls to finally fulfill his long desired wish for immortality. Vegeta will pay for the iniquity of betraying him! And finally he will wipe out this planet for good, because it will have no use for him. A plan he had in mind from the very beginning. The natives here...these Namekians were stubborn from the beginning and didn't cooperate, so the thought was quickly obvious that his universe will soon have one planet less.

The hatch on the roof of the ship slowly closes again when Frieza has found a suitable place with his vehicle. A few minutes ago, he could perceive several impacts on the planet. He utters a quiet, amused chuckle and the tip of his tail lightly taps against the hover pod's outer shell. Although it's been a long time since he's had summoned them, he experiences a certain anticipation. His strongest fighters, five in number. King Cold's elite and now handed down to him.

With the scouters, it is easy to get his stolen treasures back.

Oh, how he'd love to enjoy seeing that monkey's face when he just shatters his dreams! Ripped away by his best squad, led by an alien who is a master of body-swapping. Captain Ginyu. Four more aliens of different races are under his command. Guldo, in the shape of a four-eyed pipsqueak, he is the weakest, and yet Ginyu had accepted him. Probably because of his unusual psychic powers. He can stop time, paralyse objects and even beings...helpful tricks in a fight. With telekinetic powers he is also able to get hold of things, just like the emperor himself. And only a few beings are born with this difficult supernatural ability.

Burter, the fastest of the team and in most parts of the universe. Known as the blue hurricane, which very often forms a team up with Jeice, the red magma. Both can form an unbeatable bond, with which they have already defeated many insurgents and enemies.

And then there is Recoome...an alien that looks very similar to the human race, but is by far more stronger. He is the concentrated force of Ginyu's unit. Pure aggression... albeit a bit clumsy and boisterously. But he is as loyal as any member of his elite soldiers, which the ruler appreciates very much.

His enthusiastic tapping of his tail against the dark metal casing now falls silent as his honoured guests are also on the round and flat roof of the ship. Again an amused and short chuckle with his elegant voice sets in as he now recognizes her silhouettes more clearly. Instead of tapping, his tail tip now swings slowly back and forth and he strokes the cool surface of his vehicle. It seems almost like conducting as each individual member introduces himself. Strangely enough, the names of his soldiers are not very important to him. At least not the cannon fodder. Names don't matter to him...whereas his closest and most loyal soldiers, like Zarbon, Dodoria and the members of the Ginyu Force he keeps in his sophisticated mind. Maybe it's also because he has known them since his childhood. Hm. More or less.

When everyone had introduced themselves again with their names, he wanted to greet his elite, but to his confusion, the soldiers perform a kind of...choreography. Each one of them has a pose, and they live every movement. An already... passionate gesture from everyone. Actually, he wouldn't care, but he wasn't expecting anything like this.

Ah, yes... his best fighters had a certain mannerism...

His pink cheeks are getting a bit reddish now, also his nasal bridge is getting a subtle pink tone. 

The short choreography, which also serves as a greeting, ends together in a common pose.

Some long seconds of silence pass by, in the face of the emperor there is still confusion and embarrassment, his mouth is slightly open because of this unexpected irritation. "My...", his first word is rather a placeholder before he has found his voice again. "...what an entrance.", the blush has disappeared again and his gaze is directed at Jeice who approaches him with a green suitcase. "As you requested, Lord Frieza. Here is Your scouter.", the facial expression now appears delighted and he accepts the device with a red visor. As he attaches the detector and communication system to his ear, the commander himself turns on his green scouter. "Apparently there are other people with our traitor...", the Emperor's piercing gaze is now directed at Ginyu.

"Is that so?" He thinks for a moment and his tail swings back and forth a little faster. "Probably it's just the two insects that have bothered me before...", his dark lips now curl into a very sadistic and gloomy grin. "Do what you want with them. But... do NOT kill Vegeta immediately. His betrayal is inexcusable that I will take care of him myself!", his blood-red pupils pulsate violently and he says the last words with an intense emphasis that every one of the elite soldiers listens spellbound. "But first, I ask for the Dragon Balls, Captain Ginyu. Get them back.", his voice still sounds incisive, but less enraged. All members salute in a unit and the commanding authority of this unit assures him that it will not be long before he can fulfill his wish.

HOO BOY TIME TO POST SOME CRINGE

okay all jokes aside i just— really love the ginyu force so i made my own pseudo-ginyu force team. and by that i mean a replacement for after the ginyu force gets murked.

Second in Command of the Purrin Force- Custado is a Brenchian who cares more about looks and fame than actually fighting. However he’s not afraid to get his nails dirty if it means living another day. Like the Brenchian before him, Custado has a mutant ability that he had discovered at a young age. He’s able to amplify his voice like a banshee and use it to deafen the enemy.

Titular leader, Purrin is the younger cousin to the late Jeice. Having idolized Captain Ginyu and the Ginyu Force since she was a young cadet, she sought to take the mantle of the Force after Frieza’s revival and presented herself and her curated team. After proving their worth to be worthy successors to the elite team, Purrin takes pride in her work and hopes to make Ginyu and her cousin proud.

Quiet and reserved, Marscapone- ‘Marcy’ is the most unseeming of the Purrin Force, however don’t be fooled by his quiet exterior. Able to build up static electricity, he’s able to channel his ki into different objects that can go off like ticking time bombs. The second you touch anything he’s charged and you’re a goner.

Sucre is loyal to the Frieza Force and most importantly her crown prince Zarbon- however second to that is Purrin and the Purrin Force. Using her natural race ability to transform into a ferocious reptile-like state, Sucre isn’t afraid to bear even the ugliest side of her to ensure the defeat of her enemies.

Custado’s younger yet taller sister, Renyu is the local sweetheart of the Purrin Force. Bubbly and almost comically naive, many question how she was even picked out to join in the first place. But that’s just what makes her so dangerous. Manipulative to a fault, her natural ability to lull those into a false sense of security and even bait them to underestimate her is unprecedented. Some say it’s even a sixth sense to her entirely.

Day 3. [1651]

"And that's how you perform the Body Change technique," Ginyu said, heaving a sigh as he patted himself down, readjusting to being back in his own body.

"Atta boy, Captain!" The little red man, introduced as Jeice, was as enthusiastic as ever in cheering on his squad leader.

It had already been a few hours since the huge Shikirian brawl in the field. The victor was no one of consequence, a younger Shikirian who had gone in with a sizable mob of allies only to turn on them once they had taken care of most of the other combatants. Gatas and Ginyu had been too wrapped up in their fight to care. Towards the end, Gatas's consistent outmaneuvering ended up forcing the Ginyu Squad's captain to use his signature ability to throw off her game. Knowing that this was a rare opportunity to learn a move with immense tactical potential, Gatas requested for Ginyu to show her how it was done.

After covering the Body Change technique with her, Captain Ginyu had invited Gatas back to the base where he and the other four of his squad took up a sort of residence. Ginyu insisted on letting them introduce themselves, joining in as each member took a deep breath, performed some elaborate contortion with his body, then stopped to bellow his own name. At the end, the five moved into a group formation with even more pronounced gymnastic ability, then shouted their squad name in unison. They were an eccentric group, to be sure, but judging by Ginyu's combat skills, they were a force to be reckoned with.

Gatas appraised them all in silence. The biggest one, a Brutii, was obviously built for strength, while the taller Taifuu-jin, Burter, proclaimed that he was the fastest in the universe. Jeice, Ginyu's right hand man, seemed to be a well-rounded fighter. The odd man out? The shortest of the five, a little green man named Guldo. The four-eyed Bas-jin didn't seem particularly fast or strong given his rotund appearance, but perhaps he was a more tactical fighter. His stature would lend itself well to sneak attacks, but Ginyu had already shown himself to be an honorable warrior. Gatas doubted he would allow such behavior from his teammates.

"You seem like a capable fighter, but since you ended up here you must be missing something that you need to achieve victory. The Ginyu Squad is here to help. If you can fight your way through our ranks and defeat me," Ginyu said, "then you'll be ready for anything." The squad lined up then, waiting for Gatas to choose her first opponent. If this was to be a gauntlet-style series of fights, it made sense to choose the fastest fighter while she still had the stamina to match. "You," she said, pointing at Burter.

The fight proved to be less difficult than she anticipated. Gatas kept the Taifuu-jin at bay with an onslaught of energy attacks, preventing him from getting close enough to deal any heavy physical damage. Burter adapted quickly, learning to time his movement so that he could avoid blasts at the last moment. His downfall was assuming that, once he made it past her long-range attacks, her hand-to-hand combat would be sub par. He was wrong.

Ginyu had mentioned after their fight that anyone who was died in the afterlife didn't really die; they were out of commission for a short time but then bounced back to normal. She had no qualms then about tearing Recoome to pieces; the big brute was too slow for her and she took care of him without breaking a sweat.

Jeice proved to be more of a challenge. At first the Shikirian was cautious, not knowing how formidable an adversary the other fighter would turn out to be. He seemed sure of himself, but then again so had his two allies. Unlike them, though, Jeice didn't seem to be all speed or all strength. Jeice sprang immediately to action, eager to get some blows in as soon as possible. He'd been spoiling for a fight from the moment Ginyu decided to set up this gauntlet match, and he had only grown more excitable as he watched her take down the two tallest of their squad.

Gatas matched the Maguma-jin's enthusiasm easily. Fighting was what she knew. It was easy, and she was good at it, so she enjoyed it. Jeice felt like a kindred spirit to her as they exchanged blows, both he and Gatas fighting with grins seemingly plastered into their faces. It was clear after a time that both were pacing themselves, trying to keep the fight going for the sake of fighting. After he felt he'd had enough, Jeice leapt back and put both his hands up. "I'm good, mate. Don't wanna tire you out too much before you get through all of us. You win this round!"

Gatas nodded. Captain Ginyu's second in command had earned her respect and she was grateful that she wouldn't have to waste more energy than necessary. With over half the squad down already, Gatas was feeling confident. She didn't know what to expect from her next opponent, but she called him out without bothering to turn in his direction.

"Guldo."

The pudgy green man jumped at hearing his name then trotted over to position himself a few paces ahead of his opponent. Captain Ginyu gave the signal to start the match, but neither combatant made an immediate attempt to attack. Instead, Gatas and Guldo stared each other down, waiting. Ginyu watched from the sidelines, Recoome, Burter, and Jeice recovering beside him. A long moment passed before Gatas finally took a step towards the Bas-jin, pushing off with one foot to launch herself at him. He jumped back and took a deep breath. "Time Freeze!"

The next thing that Gatas became aware of was the sound of Burter snickering. Guldo had simply disappeared after shouting the name of his technique, the space where he'd been standing noticeably absent of his presence. Gatas touched back down to the ground, her eyes darting back and forth as she searched for any sign of her squat spar partner. A handful of ki blasts from varying angles told her that he was still close enough to see where she was, at least. Gatas moved closer to a large rock formation, hoping the barrier would force her opponent to reposition himself and give her some indication of which direction to look.

She could see clearly where the shots came from, the next time Guldo tried his ki barrage. She fired a strong answering blast in that direction, then trailed behind it to see if she could spot her quarry as he fled. Catching the stocky green alien mid-retreat in the distance, she sped up her approach.

Even with four eyes, Guldo didn't see her coming. He yelped as Gatas tackled him from the air, her cover attack touching down several meters out from where they hit the ground rolling. Locked in a grapple, Guldo was basically rendered helpless, his stubby arms and legs flailing ineffectively as Gatas pummeled him with brute strength.

"Wait wait wait," Guldo wailed between hits, "Please-- please stop hitting me!"

"Why?" Gatas asked casually, at this point just batting lightly at what was left of the Bas-jin's face.

"I can show you my technique!" Guldo squeaked as a careless hit went straight to one of his eyes. "The power to freeze time, yours! Just stop beating on me, please!"

Gatas eyed him carefully, considering. She had never thought about it, but clearly Hell was a treasure trove of special techniques just waiting to be passed on to the next worthy fighter. She pushed off and stood to give him time to recover.

Guldo got up and brushed himself off, whining as he gingerly touched his bruised and battered face. Instead of moving to a respectful distance away to show off the technique again, he simply chuckled. "Lesson one!" He took a deep breath. "TIME FREEZE!"

When Gatas could move again, she noted that Guldo had not moved from where he stood, and was doubled over, gasping for breath. She wondered why he hadn't taken the opportunity to attack her while she was in close range and unable to defend herself. Jeice helpfully supplied an explanation. "He can't attack you while you're frozen, mate. Someone is too good to keep himself in shape like the rest of us, so it takes too much out of him just to hold his breath for the technique."

"Even when we were in our prime, he could never manage to do anything offensive with that move." Burter nudged Jeice, a smug look on his face.

"No one asked you two for your input!" Guldo shouted from where he stood.

"Aw, come off it, mate. We're just joshing ya."

"You're more than welcome to try to teach her how to do this if you want to keep interrupting!"

Jeice laughed. "Alright, alright. It's your move. Have at it."

"Hmph." Guldo pouted, but proceeded to give a long-winded explanation of the finer points of his Time Freeze technique. In all honestly, Gatas was only half listening. She picked out the parts of his speech that actually sounded relevant to what she needed to know, tuning out his obviously embellished anecdotes about how he'd used the move to great effect in previous battles while he was alive. Gatas was unsure of how such a passive move would suit her, but she figured it could come in handy and at the very least would give her a better grasp on how to handle the situation the next time someone tried a similar tactic against her.

Each member of the squad seemed determined to teach her something of import, so she decided to stay with Ginyu and his men to absorb all the information they could offer her.
