well, first-off (I almost typed furst-off, lmao), lucrezia is a long-haired cat. she's double-coated and sheds a lot come summer, but io usually keeps her well-brushed no matter what. she's incredibly soft, honestly. so much so her fur feels like a silky soft plush animal's. it's lovely to sink your hands into, and when io sleeps with lucrezia next to them, they like to wrap an arm around her and sink their fingers into her chest fluff. this is also a favorite for lu, as she always starts kneading the air and purring very loudly and will position herself just right for optimum cuddles. it's also to io's benefit, as it helps them sleep a lot better.

now, io's hair is incredibly thick, long, and wavy from roots to ends. I really like describing it as a mane, tbqh. it's not fine hair, either. io's hair is coarser, and doesn't need washed as often. io washes it twice a week with special attention to keeping it moisturized. the sheer thickness of their hair means it takes a long time to air-dry, too, but they prefer it. since their hair is also white, it can get a yellow-ish color if they don't counteract that, and they do, because they love the stark white color.

nowadays, io's hair often lays undone or occasionally tied back and out of the way, but they used to enjoy braiding it, of all different kinds and styles. they can't really manage it anymore, because they can't lift that one arm high enough long enough to comfortably to do so, and they miss it dearly.

also, if you look closely enough you'll see that not all of io's hair is white. there's a few lingering strands of darker gray and even some strands with a hint of brown. they're just so few and far between that they aren't obvious until you look for them.

Ramblings about Xavier and his red collar ahead~ (story spoilers, be warned) Apologies first. I'm not the best with words or saying things out from my brain... so It might be a bit jumbled, or I might've missed some things <( _ _ )>

I'm not going to be talking about anything new. Theories and such be everywhere already, all that's been speculated is all out there ><;;;

It's just my brain, earlier in the day, decided to re-frame my thinking about the collar a bit and just letting all these thoughts out somewhere that isn't inside my brain... moving on ➡➡➡

So... what we DO know about the collar is that it's something restricting Xavier in some way. It's just not clear HOW it's restricting him.

Collar is also something of the Ever Company's property, most likely. Since there's an icon on the collar that belongs to Ever Company. At most, I would think it's from the Ever Company that is from the time during Anecdote 3. (What if... Xavier is the son of the Ever Company president in Anec3... 🤔 I mean he's got men in suits tailing him all over... but that's a thought for another day)

Up to today, my guess is that the collar restricts his use of his Evol, on top of other things. Restricting his Evol, in a way, makes him "weaker". Xavier is very good (I would guess) at using his Evol and it's powerful enough to cause huge light explosions too. So he's dangerous (to the people that wants to control him) and restricting him in that manner helps to keep Xav in check.

Unsure if the Evol Resonance here being strong is due to Xavier's Evol itself already being very strong... OR... that the two share a deep bond since times of yore and she was just able to resonate much easier and stronger with him.

Okay. Main thoughts and speculations down below 😂 I dragged this long enough, and I'm rambling on a bit much...

The collar, restricts Xavier's Evol and...

Xavier, always overdoes it and uses his Evol past the allowed limit.

It hurts him in return, but he usually doesn't care any ways. If it's to save people and MC especially, he WILL do it

He can choose to ignore the limiter, but it will only cause him to use even more of his Evol just to overcome the limiter AND do what he needed to do

So to explain, an example in terms of MP from RPG games: His Light Explosion usually costs 50MP. The Collar restricts his MP to be only 40MP. Now, for Xavier to use his Light Explosion skill again, he needs 60MP instead of the usual 50MP the reason for my above thought is simply because BOTH his Hunter's Watch AND Collar were warning him in his Myth

This makes him even more spent, makes him use 2 syringes to recover... and potentially speeds up whatever process is causing the BackTrackers on Earth to turn into Wanderers (???)

If he were to resonate with MC however, maybe he can bypass the limiter, me thinks. But obviously he is very aware that he can't abuse this.

There's a possibility that he will still get the side effects after that, maybe in a smaller amount... and it's also to protect MC herself

Uh... I feel like I had more thoughts to blurb out... but after this many hours I think I might've forgotten them... 🫠🫠🫠🫠🫠🫠🫠

And... this is how many times (that I managed to catch, that is) his collar has flared up: 6 times

(it'll be 7 if one assumes that when we meet Xavier, and he's sleeping... during that time he has already overused his Evol which caused the Metaflux explosion and was sleeping to "recharge", that his collar definitely flared red at that time)

Who knows how many more times before the Main story at this point in time (22 May 2024. Dating this just in case lol. Tumblr doesn't really show timestamps on the dash) that he's used his Evol til the collar turned red... and how many more times he is allowed to keep using it like that...

This feels to me like an unbreakable cycle at this point for Xavier... T-T

I just wanted to ask if you have any tips and/or thoughts for those starting out posting their fics and ect on tumblr

i meant to answer this the other day but things came up and i pushed it to the back burner.

anyway! my tips and tricks on getting involved in fandom writing (and it doesn’t just have to be this one. this goes for ALL fandoms)

1. use tags

tags are very helpful with organizing and getting your work out there. not only can people follow certain tags, but it’s also easier to search and find a certain fic. for example, if i wanted to read nico hischier fics im going to search “nico hischier imagines” i use the same 10-15 tags on all of my posts.

now ☝️ here’s one thing that butters my biscuit about tags, is when people misuse them. do not tag a fic about jake seresin with “bradley bradshaw imagine”.

2. headers & titles & synopsis

titles are hard. i’m pretty sure i have three fics all titled the same thing. however, titles are attention grabbers. titles are gonna make people want to stop and read your fic. my go to advice for titles, is find a song you like and use that. or maybe a line of dialogue. or in the TGM fandom, your characters callsign

headers also grab people’s attention. i almost always use a header image unless im writing a blurb or a one shot from an ask. pinterest is a great lovely tool that you can find amazing pictures to use as headers. and canva is a great free tool that’ll help you edit.

synopsis: also attention grabbers. a proper synopsis will give people a glimpse at what’s ahead. it can be as simple as “in this fic, jake is an asshole”

3. warnings

this is a big one. especially if you’re wanting to write smut or angst. yes, people are responsible for the media they consume, however it is the writers job to warn them about what they are going to consume.

i normally write “warnings: a…b…c…” in my angst and smut fics. however, if i’m writing about darker angst/realistic topics such as SA, abuse, gun violence, etc, i will put a “trigger warning” (tw) tag in my tags.

i can not stress this point enough. like i said, the reader is responsible for what they choose to read. but your duty as a writer is to make sure your warnings and tags are very, very clear. it does not matter if your warnings “give too much of the plot away”. that means your plot is probably very triggering for people and you need to tell them that.

be very clear with your warnings. crystal. clear.

4. the use of read more

please use the “read more” option when writing long pieces. the fandom will love you if you do.

5. reblog your work, reblog others work… build a network

reblogs are so so important especially on this app. tumblr is not tiktok. there’s no algorithm for what shows up first on your dash. the way to keep your fic and others fics alive is by REBLOGGING

also, reblogging of other peoples fics is what draws attention to your blog. and it’s how you start to create friendship networks.

i met most of my friends by reblogging their work or sneaking into their dms.

writers support writers around here.

6. make your blog personable.

no one likes a blank inpersonable blog. not saying you need to put your face as the icon. but make it look like you’re not just a bot blog.

find a cute color scheme and some headers. make it unique. make it you!

7. do not be afraid to tag people

some people (including myself once) are afraid to tag the “big blogs” (which i find to be a stupid term. no one here is a “big blog”, sit down charlie d’melio) but tagging people again is what catches peoples attention.

do not be afraid to tag some of your favorite writers and be like “hey i’m new look at this”

8. utilize online resources for writing help

there’s so many free writing resources out there! i’m seeing more and more show up on my instagram feed, tiktok, youtube. they are great apps that’ll help you get started!

I love how applejack gave them her old clubhouse to use and that it's located in sweet apple acres, I like the idea of applejack coming to check on them sometimes or maybe bringing them freshly baked cookies from time to time 🍪🧡 and how fun wouldn't it be to play together amongst all the apple trees (when they aren't busy crusading ofcourse! 😄)

the cmc in general: they turned something they were teased for and that used to weigh them down into something they could bond over and in turn made a life long friendship stronger than the toughest of diamonds 💎👑 later inspiring and helping others who are unsure of their destinies just as they were and I think that is so powerful! the episode call of the cutie is a great introduction that really leaves you wanting to see what they're going to do next and how they will achieve their goal 🧡💛💜

they're the sisters of rarity, rainbow dash and applejack! which makes for some great episodes featuring them all together. sleepless in ponyville, the cart before the ponies & campfire tales for example! spending so much time together would not only bring them closer with their sisters but it probably brought applejack, rarity and rainbow dash closer too, and I love that!

all of their songs are great! their voices blend together very nicely in my opinion. Amanda Renberg as Scootaloo, Linn Johnsson as Apple Bloom and Annelie Heed as Sweetie Belle all did a wonderful job voicing their characters in the iconic trio! (ofcourse this is from my perspective, and those are the swedish voices but the same can be said for the original english ones!😊) my personal favourites of the cmc songs are babs seed, hearts as strong as horses, find the purpose in your life and all of the songs in the crusaders of the lost mark (& they are all so fun to sing!) 🎵

favourite cmc episode: crusaders of the lost mark! all of their searching finally paying off, helping their bully to see her purpose and the fact that their special talent turns out to be helping others find/rediscover their own special talent is just PERFECT, we were all wondering how it would turn out right? and this was just better than every other potential outcome, they all belong together to help others find themselves, just as they did! 🥺😌🧡💜💛

Apple bloom 🍎🌸: has my favourite colour scheme, she reminds me of apple flavoured candy, I'm also biased towards anything fruit themed! and I adore her bow!! 🍎💛🎀 I can relate to her fear of being alone the episode on your marks and also to how she's scared at one point that her family won't like her if she turns out to be different to them (when she's scared her cutie mark won't be apple related). and I love her relationship with her family, the end of family appreciation day and brotherhooves social just warms my heart! 💛🍎💚🥧 also I love the cupcake song scene where she's baking with pinkie and that she got interested in potions and magic after meeting zecora! (also the fact that she as a foal was the first to befriend zecora and not be so judgmental!!)

favourite apple bloom episode: (oh glitter all of these are so hard to pick!! 🤣 but I think cutie pox, somepony to watch over me or call of the cutie 🍎🌸💛🎀

scootaloo⚡🛴🧡: I actually have only watched flight to the finish once because while it has been dubbed I somehow missed it (and can't find the whole episode in swedish, only the songs) but I have watched it on my latest rewatch (where I watched it in english :) and I love it so much, I'm not physically disabled myself, I am mentally disabled (though I feel really weird saying that for some reason) but I think scootaloo is a really great disabled character because being disabled is not her whole character, far from, and I think there should be more characters like her! I also think she's really funny, her scooter tricks are awesome and I adore her idolizing rainbow dash and wishing for her to be her sister and then in sleepless in ponyville when she's scared of rainbow dash not thinking she's cool enough then rainbow admits that she's scared sometimes too and that it doesn't make her weak and then she like adopts her as her sister and aaaaaaaahhh!!! I love found family story lines so much, also the episodes parental glideance in season 7 and the washouts in season 8 broke my heart and then put it back together! 😂🌈🧡⚡and I love how she stood up for herself and what she wants to her parents in the last crusade in season 9, people often disregard kids feelings because they're "just kids" and I think scootaloo is a really strong pony for doing what she did in that episode 🧡🛴

sweetie belle 🎶💗🔔: she's just precious! her singing voice is so beautiful and I like how she has a hard time speaking up and putting together words sometimes because I can relate and it's really funny! I love sisterhooves social and I laugh every time I watch that scene where she argues with rarity and comes to the conclusion that applejack should be rarity's sister so she can teach her how to be a good one 😂 oh or when apple bloom allows her to "borrow" applejack as a sister for "ONE DAY"-🍎🌸 to me she is a very caring pony and maybe the most relatable of the 3 to me personally (all though saying that I feel like I find all of them relatable but in different ways)

Tumblr Cosmetic Customization Tutorial

You there! New Tumblr User with a default icon and header, no description, no custom URL, and not wanting to be mistaken for a bot--you just want to maybe figure out this weird hellsite and follow some people without being blocked, right?

Maybe you've been around for a little while, or are returning from that other hellsite, and don't know what the heck folks mean by enabling the custom URL and why are so many blogs opening on the dash instead of in a new tab?!

Let's sort this mess out below the cut with a screencap-laden tutorial, starting on mobile app (since Most new blogs start there these days, and many people use mobile more, or exclusively) and then moving to web browser for some other features that aren't available in the app (as of 1/27/23 anyway).

This is just going to be about cosmetic customization and accessing the correct blog URL and archive; Tumblr's many other settings and features for how you want to see your Dashboard and how much Privacy control you decide on are for your exploration (or another day and another tutorial, this one's long enough).

The tutorial blog itself literally took me well under 5 minutes to set up, and Tumblr guided me to customizing immediately. Taking the screenshots added a few seconds to the time; it's taken longer to write the first part of this post out. If you didn't customize the blog right away, don't fret! You can always tap the little art palette and cogwheel icons at the top of your blog to sort it out.

Now go below the link to see written instructions with image examples, including a few more with my cat:

TO BEGIN: In the mobile app, I make a new blog. For me, it's a sideblog under my main and existing sides, but otherwise this is all the same info. The following process also isn't actually all that different in web browser.

Now, you can change your URL later on if you want; a lot of folks do over time. Just be aware: changing your URL breaks any and all previous links to your blog, including any posts others have reblogged under "Read More" cuts, with the same result as if the blog was deactivated; the URL no longer exists, so Tumblr doesn't count it as "there" anymore.

Now that's out of the way, once I make a blog it immediately takes me to the Customization screen:

I can--and should!--give my blog a name and a description. Doesn't have to be long or fancy, and can always be changed later with no risk to your links.

I can tap the "Background" and "Accent" buttons to change the default colors, too. Let's go for something easy on the eyes by tapping on the colored circles to find some default options, or the wheel to grab a random custom one. I'm going to go to purple and find a nice shade there.

Next I will tap on the little default icon to choose an avatar photo. I can choose not to show it on my blog, and if I do, whether I want it to be square or circle.

I can also tap to choose a header image if I like. I'm just grabbing some images from my phone. I did have to redo the avatar as it didn't want to stay after selecting a header pic for some reason.

And then I made a quick post and pinned it, to let folks know that I am human and what the purpose of this blog is (lurking for now? A main blog for following while sideblogs get the content? In this case, a tutorial).

OK, so my cat for an icon, my copy of the fanzine I worked on as a header, a quick title and description, and a short post. Even if I post nothing else to this blog (and if it were a main blog; sideblogs can't follow others, nor send asks or replies), people will be fairly certain I am not a bot, hooray! And if I want to change anything, I can tap on the icons at the top of the blog and get back to these customization screens.

I CAN STOP HERE IF I WANT TO

...BUT WHAT IF I, or buddies, try to open my blog in a browser and it opens a dash panel? What if I (or others) want to access my Archive? Unfortunately, I cannot find the correct option in the mobile app at this point, so onto a web browser we go (on my phone or my tablet, or my computer).

I am using a generic default web browser where I don't have many extensions/plugins/addons enabled (though apparently I did set dark mode). When I tap/hover over my icon, it still shows my color option and everything I selected in app setup.

Here is where I am going to direct you to the side bar and the "Edit Appearance" button so I can point out some Very Important Things, even if you don't customize anything else ever.

When I open my blog's appearance tab, right away it's going to tell me some interesting things I have circled and pointed at on the below screenshot:

In RED I have circled my blog's URL: www.tumblr.com/lynmarstesting. This is why a blog opens in a dash panel instead of going to an actual blog. This is the new Default URL, I cannot access an Archive or other blog features like this.

The ORANGE arrow points to the feature we want, right below the "Blog name" and URL: "Custom Theme". When I swipe this feature to active, it tells me my URL is updated.

When I go to my blog, the URL in my browser shows the proper https://lynmarstesting.tumblr.com link.

And the blog looks...well, bare bones and empty, but a proper weblog page. And I (and anyone else) have access to my Archive! When, y'know, I have enough posts to make that a thing on this blog.

Now, if I or anyone else opens the blog by clicking my username or icon, it'll open a dash panel...but also show my actual @ and my proper URL link, so they can go to the blog itself that way if they want. Everyone wins!

I CAN STOP HERE IF I WANT TO;

there's no need from this point to keep messing around in a browser, we've done everything to 1) make ourselves look human and 2) make our blog properly linkable/accessible.

This opens an "Edit Theme" sidebar panel where one can customize the blog. Each theme has different options, and Tumblr's default theme is honestly really modular; change colors, fonts, have multiple columns, add some pages (I've a whole other tutorial on that), etc.

There's also an "Advanced" pane, where you can mess with some other settings (the little ? icon on each line tells you what it does) and, if you're knowledgeable--or just bold--this is where you can add some Custom CSS.

Say the Default Tumblr Official isn't doing it, though; at the top of the Edit Theme pane it tells you your current theme, and there's a handy "Browse Themes" link.

This opens a drop down with multiple sorting options. I don't want to spend money on a premium blog theme at the moment, and the others are a mix, so let's check out the Free Themes options.

There's a lot of options here! Some new ones, some are sponsored, lots of variety. Even the "Accessible" theme I mainly use is there, in its barren glory, compared to what you can see I've made of it on browser (see that previous tutorial I linked above):

Some will let you change every color, the fonts, the frames, and so on. Some let you add links everywhere. Some barely let you touch anything. You can tap "Use" at the top to preview, and the "Advanced" pane will let you preview random pretend posts if you don't have many/any of your own to see how they'd look. If you don't like how something's turning out, just click back on "Free Themes" and look for another one.

PLEASE KEEP IN MIND READABILITY!!

When people follow links to your blog--like a Read More cut--they will see the post on your blog's theme and in your blog's colors. Even on mobile app, especially if you override the default mobile theme, your color choices will have an impact! Aesthetic is all well and good, but frames, fonts, colors, and so on, should be legible and readable to most people, especially if you mean to share a lot of text posts.

Another thing to note: Your theme will NOT appear on mobile app. It defaults to a basic setup in the app, keeping maybe only your colors. Any custom links won't show, and cosmetic site options and access are limited in a lot of ways. The site is usable on a mobile web browser, and will have those features there. I get around the app's inability to show my theme's links by adding them all to my informative Pinned Posts on each blog, but that's me.

And there you have it! How to cosmetically customize a Tumblr, in mobile app and browser, to seem like a real person and access the correct URL and features of your blog. Whether you're new or been here awhile, hopefully this helps answer some really basic questions about how and why to do some of these things.

that anon's being really shitty, and id just block them, honestly. tumblr now has a decent enough filtering system that 1) they can ask you to tag stuff (which they seemingly did not do), 2) they can filter out things (you can even out filter words from posts, not just tags, now, so they could for example filter out "pap smear" and have the post hidden even if it's not tagged), or 3) unfollow. i try and tag most things, even just mentions of them, if it's a common enough trigger (ex. "abuse tw" or "abuse m" for discussion or depiction, and then minor mentions, respectively) but anon cannot demand people know what their triggers are. especially if it's not super common. like, for awhile as a younger teenager, the image of the "mspa blob face" as someone's icon would really freak me out, as i had a stalker at the time who used it. it didn't mean i could storm up to any blog and yell at them via anon for not knowing about this very obscure, uncommon trigger of mine if it crossed my dash.

this isn't even taking into account that nobody "has" to tag stuff, even if asked. the only thing i think people should Always tag if possible is stuff like flashing lights. if someone asked me to tag, say, madohomu or something, it would be perfectly reasonable for me to say no for a variety of reasons: it's common on my blog, i don't tag ships (can't usually tell when somethings meant to be read romantic rather than platonic, tfw aro), i won't remember to, i just plain don't want to, etc. nobody is legally required to tag triggers. it's really nice when they do, don't get me wrong, but not being able or willing to tag xyz thing all the time with tws isn't a moral failing or a sign someone is a bad person.

Hello there! I have followed you for a while and I was wondering, how do you do the graphics on your art? Like the symbols and stuff? :0

it varies depending on the Thing i'm making!

for small things that are just for myself - like for social media graphics / blog headers - i may use Canva to plop in some small flair. for example, the four icons i used here under my sona portraits are Canva assets.

as for my Weird Vaguely Dog-Shaped art symbols, nearly all the triangles and circles and shapes you see are done with the basic default shape tools in Clip Studio. i do use a couple brushes here and there in my work if i need dashed lines for something, but the majority are always freehand. the radiating rim around the outermost circle here is a halo brush from the Clip assets shop.

now if you mean symbols like the one below here, these are also done with the default shape tools and the plain default pen brush. the circle and polygon shape tools are my best friends, i use them for a LOT in my work!!

honestly you can go REALLY far with just the shape tools alone.

Basic Online Recon for Tumblr

This is all surface level, and more Sherlock Holmes than hacker mans, and thus it is legal. There are no advanced methods.

Firstly, as I established last night, the block button for Anons does not seem to be working at least on IOS tumblr. I need to do more experimenting with that, but for now I urge you to proceed as if it is fully dysfunctional, and take necessary precautions such as disabling anons if need be, or double checking that your block list has picked up a new blog.

There are ways people are very telling when sending hateful messages

They use the same patterns of speech that they use for informal conversations.

You can often tell who’s on a mobile platform vs desktop based on capitalization, punctuation (or lack there of), and if certain words are thrown in due to autocorrect not being able to process a missing letter.

Certain quirks around words such as regional variations, spellings and usage. (Example: I’m more likely as a Southener to say “all y’all” where my Midwestern partner is more likely to say “all of you”). Seriously. People have been caught on murder charges and blackmail based off how they use words. One woman in particular was featured in Forensic Files, and it all came down to how she spelt and pronounced the word “Antifreeze” (she used Antifree).

Other regional examples color/colour, take meds /drink meds, sweater / jumper, mailbox / post box.

Sometimes you get particularly bold folks who make whole new blogs for hating. IMO you should block them outright and never let them see the light of the dash. But if you want to look there’s some telling things. Most don’t personalize the blog at all. They make the blog and do their deed and sign back out. Some take the time to add icons and banners, nothing else. No posts, no likes and only following staff. They don’t even take the time to disable seeing their likes or follows.

In this case I urge you to report them to tumblr, and take the time to state that you believe this blog has been created with the purpose of harassment. If you can provide screenshots that is ideal. Organizations can and have blocked whole IP addresses before, they have that ability. Always block and report these accounts.

Remember if you are filing a report for harassment, on Tumblr, only the person who has been harassed can file that. Tumblrs current system does not accept reports of harassment from others. If you do not have the spoons or mental energy to do this, please consider giving access to a very good friend to fill this report out on your account on your behalf.

Okay, I had been avoiding this one, not because I don't know this franchise, but because I was stuck in "WHO DO I CHOOSE?!" syndrome. It's time I choose a character from.... Fatal Fury/King of Fighter!! Believe it or not, I wasn't one of the people who saw Terry and asked "who's this guy?" no I saw him I instantly thought "YO IT'S Mr Bogard!" Terry can be a little basic but he's so damn loveable. He's light hearted, his engrish is always funny, and he's just a good guy in his text quotes and story.

So first I need to discuss something. Because if I don't address this, and I wasn't shouting to the void, it'll cause arguments. I know Terry's base franchise is Fatal Fury, I know that, but first of all, the full title of first KOF game was Fatal Fury: King of Fighters. Second of all, Terry is more well known for his appearances in KOF at this point than his own franchise. No one asks "yo, who's yo favorite Fatal Fury" character, they ask "YO, BRO, Who's yo favorite KOF Character!" By the way, I wouldn't call them my favorite, but my Main in KOF 15/XV is Isla. Though she's not the character I chose, She'd be super fun in Smash but she's too recent to be iconic... Also I'm about 40% sure Isla isn't a loved character.... a damn shame. Now that I'm done going on tangent lol. My point is, my character choice is a KOF character not a Fatal Fury character. Oh I missed a point, Terry feels more like a representation of KOF than he is of Fatal Fury, like his stage is KOF stadium. So let's get to the meat of his post, although, it feels like this is the meat now lol

I've chosen K', pronounced Kay Dash. He's a science experiment to artificially give the powers of another character Kyo, to another human being. It's mostly successful but it did wipe his memory and make him a bit of an almost emotionless edgelord. He's a favorite of mine to play, I'm terrible at him, but I enjoy him. So, let's discuss how this character would play, SHALL WE?! So, to start, yes he'd have Go Meter with supers, I'll sure to include those.

For Neutral B He will use Ein-trigger. This move puts a small circle of fire in front of him. What's important about Ein-Trigger is that it has follow up moves. Using Neutral B again makes him use second shoot which causes him to kick the fire and create a fireball. Using Up B during it makes him use Second Shell, an Upward Kick. Using Side B causes him to use Second knuckle and a punch that moves him forward. Finally using Down B uses Second Whip, he swipes his hand downward but it's on fire. think Marth's side B but on a neutral B

For Up B He uses the move Crow Bite. It is a bit of a basic uppercut style attack like Shoryuken and he's on fire. But if you press B again at any point during the move he will use Crow Bite follow-up, a flip that ends in a downward kick, the bottom of the kick has a meteor smash hitbox that Crow Bite tries to place the enemy in. If you use the follow up you stop your upward momentum and you go into special fall, if you don't use it you don't go into special fall.

For Side B You use Minute Spike. This is a jumping lunging kick has a bunch of power to it. If you use Side B again you'll perform Narrow Spike. Narrow Spike is a slide kick that also does a bunch of damage. Hitting with Minute Spike, due to how Smash works, does not guarantee Narrow Spike will hit so be careful, you don't need to follow up very single time.

For Down B he uses the move Blackout. Black out is a move that causes K' to disappear into no where, avoiding attacks and moving invisibly. In this game it'll simply be a teleport or a command dodge. If it's a teleport controlled like other teleports, but as K's moves are all about follow ups, hitting A will cause to appear prematurely, performing the appropriate attack. So for example, Blackout up and press Down and A will use Dair. Noteworthy, Blackout itself has no hitbox, it does not do damage, it's JUST a movement tool with a follow up mechanic

He will have two Go Meter Supers. For the first one he will use Hyper Chain Drive, this will use pretzel motion (for those who only know Smash Power Geyser), Hyper Chain drive is a move where he pounds his hand on the ground and a pillar of fire is created, Think Entei's assist trophy but smaller. For the other one he will use Heat Drive, with double quarter circle he hold his hand behind him briefly before propelling himself forward with his hand in front of him on fire, damaging everything in front of him, doing continuous hits as he dashes, the last hit launches but this is mostly a damaging move.

I chose K' functionally because I like his vibe better than Kyo's. K' is just a cool character. I like making a fighting game character have a follow up moves mechanic. He'd be so different from the characters we already. He'd obviously have the command inputs mechanic Terry and Ryu have as well I just didn't type it because that would take forever. Also I wanted to make use Chain Drive as one of his Go meter moves but it would be too confusing, Chain Drive is a move where he throws his sunglasses at the enemy then beats the crap of them but I put Hyper Chain Drive in the moves. Who would you have put from KOF if not K'? I'm curious.

Action January II: Captain Blood (1935)

Part One: By the Sword

Fun fact about me: I am a non-classically trained fencer.

By which I mean I went through formal training as a child (starting at 6 or 7), then continued it sporadically through my youth and college. Kept up with it a little after college, but I'm no longer a fencer. Still, it was a pretty prominent part of my life, and one of the more bougie facts about me (of which there are admittedly many; I am, for example, struggling to not type bourgeoisie). I look back on it fondly, but it's not for modern-day me.

Still, I've always had a soft spot for swashbucklers, especially in film. Sure, traditional épée fencing doesn't resemble your typical swashbuckling film fight, even a little bit. Usually, épée with the fencing gear is put in a movie or TV show to demonstrate that the character or establishment practicing it is high-class or rich. Instead, I suppose cinematic swashbuckling is more similar to sabre fencing, which has a larger target zone than épée fencing, and usually involves grander movements...but even then, I've never seen any sabre fencer swing from ropes and rafters like, well...

Zorro is a character that I've talked about before on this blog. I've also covered the swashbuckler briefly in that post, but let's get a little more comprehensive this time, shall we? Zorro is maybe the prototypical swashbuckler character, starting with Douglas Fairbanks' epic film The Mark of Zorro in 1920! Yeah, old as hell. He was daring, dashing, and debonair; dressed in black and fighting for justice to get the girl and save the day, armed with only a sword and his wit! The prototypical action hero! Throw in some great choreography and epic music, and voila! A swashbuckler! To put one together properly, we need:

A dashing hero, with devil-may-care attitude that fights for the moral right. If we're talking in DnD terms, you can call this person chaotic good alignment, usually. Swinging from the rafters, a sword in hand and often a smile on their face. And, of course, a romantic aim and goal.

Swordfighting. Kind of critical to the genre. Swashbucklers are films that use swordfights as the driver for the plot. While not every action sequence may involve a sword fight, the main hero is always either armed with their sword or looking for it. And then it's time for the climax, you better believe we've got a big-ass swordfight on our hands. The villain of the piece, at least one of them, should also have a sword in hand.

A sweeping score is a very typical piece of these films. Whether in the past or present, swashbuckling can't be done without an iconic leitmotif for the hero, and battle music times to the clashes of steel. Usually throw some brass or strings in there, and you have a swashbuckling score.

Now, of course, there are a lot of swashbucklers out there based on those definitions, and...yeah, there are a lot of swashbuckler films! While The Mark of Zorro is typically called the first swashbuckler, it's not the first film to involve narrative swordplay by any means. The Count of Monte Cristo (1908) is probably the first of those, but there are others like The Prisoner of Zenda or Kidnapped. You may also notice that some of the classic swashbucklers are based on classic literature, like those above, and like Cyrano de Bergerac, The Scarlet Pimpernel, The Man in the Iron Mask, and the most prominent of these...

It's funny, for a character best known for his archery skills, Robin Hood gets into a lot of swordfights. Some of the most iconic filmed swordfights come from the emerald archer from Sherwood, and for good reason! There have been countless adaptations of the original stories, which are crazy cinematic, and they all take place in medieval England, during a time period where swords were predominant weaponry. Combine that with the fact that Robin Hood is, in many retellings, a nobleman who would've been trained in fencing, and you have a natural swashbuckler setup!

And honestly, Robin Hood is sort of the perfect swashbuckler. A morally good hero fighting against the evil establishment, for his friends, contrymen, and the woman he loves. Epic music, daring setpieces, classic fights, a lot of swingin' rafters...yeah, it's perfect. And again, one day, I'll talk about The Adventures of Robin Hood from 1938; one of my favorite action films, and my favorite adaptation of Robin Hood for sure.

But there's another type of swashbuckler that's just as iconic as those listed above, also involving a setting conducive to sword-based action, but often with heroes that are...a little more morally grey.

Pirate films are essentially a subgenre of the swashbuckler (yes, a subgenre of a subgenre of a subgenre), focusing on high-seas action rather than fighting in a hall or castle. The pirate film is a curious beast, appearing in film history in sporadic bursts, with no real period to call its own. They were popular from the '30s through the mid-'60s, had a tiny boom in the '80s, got badly nuked in the '90s, and then had another tiny boom in the '00s with the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. They're always around, but never the first genre you'd think of when you think of action films.

Still, pirate films have an iconic feel to them all their own. The wind in your hair, the daring sword fights against a surly knave or an overzealous government stooge, depending on the nature of your morally dubious hero. Hell, maybe the hero has resorted to piracy after being wronged or lost at sea, and we're rooting for him and his lost honor. Either way, he's got an open shirt and a sword in his hand, and his crew are there to back him up (or betray him; again, depends on the narrative). You know a pirate film when you see one. And that's where I'm headed today: to the open seas with Captain Blood, starring an iconic action star of the 1930s and '40s. In fact, he's so iconic, almost every one of the above GIFs includes him.

Errol Flynn is undoubtedly a major film figure of his day. He's also got a fascinating and...sometimes troubling personal history, putting him up there with some of the great Australian film actors in cinema. But as much as I'd like to talk about Errol Flynn (and I probably will later), I'd like to finally jump into the film that made him famous: Captain Blood, a 1935 film directed by Michael Curtiz, another interesting figure with some...interesting history with Flynn. Again, more later.

Flynn was an unknown before this role, and immediately became an audience and studio favorite, essentially succeeding Douglas Fairbanks as a films and action star. Only 26 at time this film came out, Captain Blood was the beginning of an often turbulent career for Flynn, who would die at only 50 years old. Again, more on him later. And so, without further ado...SPOILERS AHEAD!!!

It's 1685 in England, and there's a rebellion happening! Known as the Monmouth Rebellion, it involved the deposition of James II, after succeeding his brother as king of England, which was contested by Parliament and Protestants, as James II was a Catholic king. Anyway, during the rebellion, Doctor Peter Blood (Errol Flynn) is summoned to aid a friend injured in a skirmish. A retired adventurer and swashbuckler in his own right, Blood is determined not to re-enter the...fight...

Is this Commando? Like, where a retired hero is forced to come back to fight for his country, and won't come back until a personal tragedy or offense is done to him? You know, like Commando? Just calling it now, before it happens.

As Blood is helping his friend, he's taken away and sentenced by Judge George Jeffreys (Leonard Mudie), who accuses him of being a liar and traitor to the crown, despite his complete innocence. Imprisoned and set amongst a group of similar prisoners for months, he attempts to defend himself on the stand, only to condemn himself even further beneath a biased kangaroo court. And for the record, Flynn immediately proves why he's so beloved at this time. He's an excellent actor in this scene, and I immediately sympathize with Peter Blood.

Meanwhile, King James II (Vernon Steele) is convinced by his advisor to send the convicts to the West Indies as slaves, as actual slaves are too expensive, and these guys are free of cost. So, yeah, British monarchy not looking too great. In any case, we set to sea for the first time, in the belly of an unrealistically humane slave ship. In Blood's words, the King was "granted their lives in exchange of an uncertain death". And with that, Blood and the convicts are sent o Port Royal, in Jamaica.

The convicts are set for sale (hate it), and most of them are sold to Colonel Bishop (Lionel Atwill) and his niece, Arabella (Olivia de Havilland). When she observes Blood's rebellious nature at being inspected like cattle, she decides to keep him from working in the mines on her own spoiled whims. Blood's not a fan, and the two immediately clash. Which, obviously, means they're gonna fall in love by the end. Come on, we know how this goes.

Blood's sent to work on the plantation with Bishop's other slaves, on a grinding mill that loves like it's ripped out of Conan the Barbarian. We see the indignity of slavery through...white slaves. Yeah, trying not to think about it, since this is a thing that happened, but it's tough. Anyway, our traitors are taught a lesson about treason, as an escapee is branded on his fucking face, and the prisoners all say how much they hate the fucking King. Great job, James, really fanning the flames of patriotism there.

Meanwhile, the uncaring and selfish governor, Steed (George Hassell) is complaining of gout, and is in need of a physician. Knowing of Blood's former profession, Arabella recommends him as Steed's physician, and is mostly elevated from the role of slavery, which seems...insanely easy. Irritatingly easy, even. But whatever; at least he hasn't forgotten his friends, his actual station, or the fact that Arabella bought him for 10 goddamn shillings! He's still understandably bitter about that.

However, he's in very good favor with the governor for relieving his gout, unlike the previous doctors Bronson (Hobart Cavanaugh) and Whacker (Donald Meek), who attempt to plot to get rid of the much more competent Blood. He puts them in their place, but begins a plot of his own. With the other slaves arrested for treason, he plans an escape attempt from Port Royal, with the help of friend (and the guy who got him in this mess to begin with, Jeremy Pitt (Ross Alexander). However, in the process, Colonel Bishop suspects some kind of plan, which is only circumvented with the help of Arabella. In the process, however, Pitt is captured and flogged for questioning.

While his friend is getting horribly whipped by the Colonel on the stockades, Blood and Arabella flirt (as expected), although a kiss from Blood is received poorly due to his status, leaving the encounter on a sour note. Peter goes back to care for the Governor before their escape that night, then finds Jeremy at the stockades and cares for him as well. He's caught by the Colonel showing mercy, and is about to share Jeremy's fate when a ship attacks the port.

This ship belongs to the Spanish, and the sailors aboard lay waste to the port. It's at this point that the slaves see an opportunity, and make their way to the ships. They take over the Spaniard's ship, and wait until the morning to take out the returning Spaniard captain and soldiers. With navigator Pitt and new gunner Henry Hagthorpe (Guy Kibbee), the new crew sets sale and escapes, under the purview of the new Captain Blood.

Colonel Bishop, like...like a fucking idiot, sails out on a rowboat to thank the men, not realizing it's his own slaves. And then, when he finds out, he still intends to keep them as slaves. THEY HAVE A SHIP, DUDE! You're fucked. Instead of killing him, which they consider, they toss him overboard, and Blood's crew sets sail for the Caribbean Sea, leaving Arabella behind. They abandon their citizenship, and officially become pirates.

The crew of Blood becomes famed and infamous across the seas, to the irritation of King James II himself. With Governor Steed having lost both money from the Spaniard assault, and being unable to reign in Blood in the first place, his appointment as Governor is given to Colonel Bishop, who swears to take care of Blood once and for all. Arabella is conflicted about this, but she's shipped off to England along with Governor Steed.

On Tortuga, Blood signs a deal with another captain, the French Levasseur (Basil Rathbone), and the two become partner pirates. Later on, Arabella finishes her extended holiday in England, traveling alongside Lord Willoughby (Henry Stephenson), who has been tasked to take out Captain Blood. On their journey, they see Levasseur's ship, which attacks them and takes the passengers hostage on a nearby island. They are soon joined by a surprised Peter Blood and his crew, who pretends not to know her.

Blood and Levasseur engage in an argument, as one of the articles of their contract was that no female prisoners would be taken. As a compromise, Blood pays for her ransom, both to save her and as payback for his purchase of her many years ago. This still enrages Levasseur, who wanted Arabella for himself, and he forgoes his honor to challenge Blood to a fencing duel. Fun fact, by the way: Basil Rathbone was an actual fencer, classically trained, and far better than anyone he ever fenced with on-screen, Flynn included. But, since he always played the role of a villain and cad, he was always forced to lose. And this fight is no exception.

Levasseur is killed by Blood...which is crazy, since he's Basil fucking Rathbone, and he was in this movie for maybe 5 minutes altogether as essentially a cameo, but...c'est la vie, et la mort. Arabella and Willoughby are brought on board, only for Arabella to angrily reject him. And yes, she's absolutely a goddamn hypocrite, but she's not fully unjustified. She puts Blood down as a beast like any other pirate (unfairly, of course), and Blood angrily rebukes her in turn. Even then, he plans to bring the two hostages back to Port Royal, where they are certain to die.

Willoughby and Arabella speak, where he convinces her that Blood's genuinely not a dick, and tells her that they're headed to Port Royal. At the same time, Blood's crew refuses to sail to Port Royal, officially acting in mutiny against Blood. And Blood...gracefully surrenders his command of the ship, admitting his affections for Arabella to be driving him against logic. And that ironically turns the crew back to Blood's command. I can't tell if that was a sign of their actual bond, or some straight gatekeeping-girlbossing-gaslighting from Blood, but...yeah, they're still going to Jamaica.

As they approach Port Royal, though, they find it being attacked by two French ships. Willoughby, finally being able to speak with Blood, informs him that France and England are at war. To their surprise, though, Governor Bishop isn't present, nor is the English fleet, since they're out chasing pirates. And so, the only ship to defend Port Royal against the French, is...well, Blood's.

It's then that Willoughby finally reveals his purpose for seeking Blood and his crew: the King has pardoned him. Obviously, they're not a fan of King James II given what he'd done to them, and refuse the offer. But then, Willoughby reveals the other political change: James II is out as King. With that knowledge, Blood and his men decide to fight for the English Navy, and for the new King William III.

Arabella is shuttled ashore, while the ship sails under a French flag to disguise themselves. They easily ambush the French ships attacking the Port, wrecking one and causing it to fucking explode. Honestly, it's pretty sick. The other ship mounts a harsher assault, and Blood's crew is forced to abandon ship. Instead, they simply take the French ship for themselves. And as the Captain swings over, you realize something: this is the prototypical pirate movie.

Yeah, OK, earlier films like The Black Pirate, as well as later ones like The Sea Hawk and Treasure Island, would be a major framework for pirate films in the future. But good goddamn, if this doesn't feel like a pirate movie, I don't know what does. The score is sweeping, the action is epic, and it's honestly just fun. And the most ironic thing is, this is happening at the point in the film when they aren't technically pirates anymore! Hilarious.

Anyway, Blood's crew wins the day for England, only for the Governor to finally return from his futile journey. Arabella, seeing Blood return and knowing her uncle's hatred of him, tries to warn him away while admitting her love to him. But to the surprise of her and her uncle, Bishop is officially deposed as Governor for abandoning his post in times of war to pursue his vendetta, even though he knew Willoughby was coming. He's at the mercy of the new Governor: Doctor Peter Blood. Honestly, it's funny as fuck. Blood bids him "Good morning, Uncle.", and the film comes to a close.

That's it for Captain Blood! Gonna do an old-fashioned review set-up and have a separate post for the Review! And that's because, while the review won't be terribly long...I would really like to talk about the man, the myth, the alcoholic legend himself, Errol Flynn.

Hi again! Sorry it took me a bit to reply, I've been swamped with work asdfghjjhgfds. No problem at all, I'll do my best to explain - I'll just put it under the cut so it doesn't clog people's dashes up. I've also done a quick video showing the process too, in case that's also helpful.

Programmes I'm using:

Photoshop (I use windows, so all the keyboard shortcuts use the ctrl key. If you are on mac, it will be command instead)

The ~Process~

So, first things first, I find the object I want to recolour in Sims 4 Studio (S4S). For this, I'm going to use 'Modern Colonial Bed'. It has a great plain white swatch which is perfect for recolouring, but if the object doesn't have a white swatch, finding a light/pale colour swatch is also fine.

Then, I open it up in Photoshop.

Obviously, it's one solid image, which isn't necessarily what we want. For example, when I do bedding recolours, I often do a pattern on the duvet (i think it's also called a comforter in some places?), but want a solid colour for the sheets and pillows. So, our next step is to separate each part on to its own layer so we can recolour them individually.

You can use a few different tools to do this, but for bedding, I use the rectangular marquee tool, because there aren't any curves we need to select around. The keyboard shortcut for the marquee tool is 'M'. With that tool selected, I drag a box over the part of the texture I want to separate. I'm starting with the duvet - you can see the 'marching ants' lines around it.

With that selected, I then use the keyboard shortcut 'ctrl + j'. This copies the area you selected onto a separate layer. I rename my layers so that I can easily find each one - i typically call the starting, flat texture the 'base', and rename each new layer accordingly. As you can see, if I click the eye icon next to the base layer to momentarily hide it, we still have the duvet visible.

I then repeat this process for the folded sheet, and both sets of pillows. I'll use the base layer to recolour the sheets.

Because the folded sheet and the long pillows are darker than the rest of the texture, at this stage, make them lighter. Whilst clicked on the layer I want, I press ctrl + u, where I can change the saturation and lightness.

To finish adjusting it, I then add a brightness/contrast layer. To access this, you can go to layer > new adjustment layer > brightness/contrast, or click the little circle icon at the bottom of the layers panel.

When I'm happy with the adjustment, I select both the layer (in this case, the one titled folded sheet) and the adjustment layer, and merge them together. (press ctrl, click on both layers in the layers panel, right click, merge layers). I repeat this process for the long pillows.

OKAY NOW THE FUN PART I PROMISE!

AIGHT now we're gonna add the pattern onto the duvet. Firstly, I make sure I'm selected on the right layer (in this case, the one I've labelled as 'duvet'). I often hide the other layers (by clicking on the eye icon next to each layers' name). Then, I open up the actions panel; if you don't see this at first, you can go up to window > actions.

As you can see, I have a lot of actions, but the ones I'm using for this are the silverhammer ones. The names for both action sets is pretty self explanatory - if you want to use a pattern, select pattern base, and for a solid colour, select solid base. Hit the play button, and boom! It will come up with dialogue boxes, just hit the enter key for now as we'll adjust the settings after.

Photoshop will use one of the default patterns first; it's always this leaf one for me, I'm assuming it's the same for everyone, but if not it doesn't matter anyway because we'll be using our own pattern. Using the ctrl key, I select all of the pattern fill layers. Then, I can select the pattern I want to use for my recolour. In my workspace, it's located in the bottom right corner, but it may be somewhere else for you. If you don't see it at all, go to window > patterns. When you've found the pattern you want to use, click on it, and all the pattern fill layers will change accordingly.

Depending on the original scale of the pattern you used, it may look HUGE, or really small. That's fine, because we change the scaling. Double click on one of the pattern fill layers, and it will bring up a dialogue box. I use the middle fill layer (which will be called 'Pattern fill 3') as it has the most opacity and is therefore easier to see. Here you can change the angle, and the scale. I don't want to change the angle this time, so I'll only be focusing on the scale. You can use the slider or type in different numbers until you find something you like. This pattern was really big, so I'm going with a 17% scale. When you're happy, hit the enter key or press the 'OK' button.

You can still see where the other pattern fill layers haven't been changed, but that's fine, because we'll repeat the exact same process with them. Just make sure you use the same scale as you did for the first one you changed (in this case, 17%).

And yay, it all matches! Then I'll select all the layers I just changed and put them into a group (ctrl + g), and rename that to duvet, to keep my layers organised.

Now, I'm going to move on to the solid colours. I'm going to start with the folded sheet layer. I'll click the little box next to the layer to make it visible again. The process is the same as the pattern fill, except this time, I'll select the 'solid base' action.

As you can see, it automatically goes to this eye-hurting neon green, which isn't what I want. Just like with the patterns, I will select all of the colour fill layers using the ctrl key, and then click on the colour swatch I want. If you can't see the swatches panel, go to window > swatches. If you haven't saved a swatch, don't worry! You can do it manually. Just double click on one of the colour fill layers, and it will bring up a dialogue box where you can drag around to find a colour you want, or type in a specific hex code. Then just repeat it for the other colour fill layers.

And tah-dah! It was a bit harder to see on the duvet because of the dark pattern colour, but here you can really see how the texture of the sheet (the shading, wrinkled fabric etc) comes through and doesn't look flat.

I then do the exact same process for all of the other layers.

Aaaaand tada! All that's left to do now is save your finished texture (I use PNGs, but you can also do DDS) and import it back into S4S to make sure it looks right.

I think it looks pretty cute!

I've also recorded a quick video showing the process too, just in case that's useful (sorry there's no voice over, I've honest to god lost my voice from reading so many books over and over again to kids this week).

SECTION 1. Writing.

I want to write with everyone! Although I prefer multi-para replies, I enjoy having a variety of threads from one-liners and icons to brief responses and long-form text. I am flexible and reciprocate the energy given to me by my writing partner. I enjoy both serious threads and crack. I only ask that you don’t godmod or dictate how my character acts/feels.

Ask memes are always a good way to break the ice, but I am also open to plotting. That can be done via Tumblr IMs or Discord. Your preference, really. Response speed may vary depending on multiple factors, but please note I don’t intend to ghost anyone. I am an adult with a demanding full-time job and a part-time job so it can be a bit hectic on my end. 

In terms of response speed, I may favor my mains or people I’ve interacted with OOC first, as well as plotted threads. These are usually easier for me since I have an idea of how to approach the writing.

 SECTION 2. Selectivity.

Although I say I am semi-selective, I tend to follow back most blogs. That said, there are exceptions. For example, one case I might not follow back is if I observe poor dash hygiene. I don’t really want a super clogged dashboard so I tend not to follow people who have a greater ratio of OOC posts compared to IC. Other things I like are cut posts and new threads for asks. The last two are not dealbreakers, though, but I consider this good dash hygiene.

I am crossover-friendly and OC-friendly. However, I likely won’t follow back unless you have a JJK-specific verse or some sort of bio for your muse. I dislike having to fish for information. I am a bit more hesitant to follow back in these cases, but I can overlook that if I see potential for interaction. 

SECTION 3. IC Dynamics.

I enjoy exploring different dynamics with different characters. Shipping can be romantic, friendly, filial, etc. I love writing with various muses.

That said, I am highly selective about romantic shipping. It will be done on a case-by-case basis. I will only really write shippy content if there is chemistry between the muses (our portrayals) and prior conversations between us OOC discussing the dynamic. All interactions with muses within my muse’s age range are platonic unless stated otherwise. I will never off-the-bat assume there is romance involved between muses unless we have explicitly had a conversation about it. Although I am 25, there will be absolutely no smut. 

In a similar vein, what is said in a thread with another person’s muse does not apply to the canon of our threads unless you have made your muses’ canon clear (i.e. your rules/about cite this connection, you have stated something OOC, etc). If I follow you, assume I have read your rules and bio.

 SECTION 4. OOC Conduct.

All I ask for is kindness and understanding. Always assume the best intentions from others and never yuck anyone’s yum. I work a stressful job and I am here for entertainment. Please don’t bring negativity and other exhausting energy into this space. If there is ever a time I do something that bothers you, please bring it to my attention directly. Also, bear in mind that I am not my character and would prefer to keep a clear distinction between what is IC and what is OOC.

This should go without saying, but if you reuse a plot we crafted together or copy anything I, or anyone else, has done, you may get blocked if it is brought to my attention. It really depends on the severity, or if it is a repeat offense.

 SECTION 5. DNI/Vague Posts.

Don’t come here with bullshit. Don’t follow me if you do a lot of vague posting. If I see it enough times, I will block. We are adults. If you want to say something without the repercussions of saying it, then do it in private or keep it to yourself. If it is that serious, then go talk to that person directly. Communicate like a mature adult.

If there is someone I interact with who is actually problematic or has actually engaged in problematic behavior, dm me in private.
