i was told that i should get a personal art tag so i hereby declare that #trashmann treasure will mark any art that i personally do!

in addition, #rancid ramble will be any longer rambles or rants i have. basically stuff that you might have to dedicate more than a quick skim to get through, usually higher quality material and will weed out my short random bits of chaos.

#funky fiction will be any stories or excerpts of stories i'll post

#lore landfill will be all worldbuilding stuff, along with headcanons and the like

#character containment will be any material related to my original characters

i may do more things in the future if i think of something fun or if i (or someone else) thinks i could use another category! this will be updated with any changes!

Since I've seen a lot of people on tumblr create their own tags, so their followers can filter through their content more easily, I think I should probably create mine too.

C's Rambles, for when I speak my nonsense.

C's Art, for when I post fanart of my interests.

C's oCs, for when, once in a blue moon, I post about my ocs (pun intended.)

And lastly, Fandom Madness, for when I post multi fandom fanart.

Hopefully I'll remember to do this in the future.

I would like to make a clarification for some of my tags that I use.

HC: Ishiverse is the tag I use for my personal Headcanon with regards to FFXIV and the other media properties I use as the other reflections.

Sundered Soul is another Headcanon tag I use, which I should most definitely put an HC before it, to categorize which character I use to reflect FFXIV characters.

Any tag like these (.:Ishita's Shards:. or .:U'tala's Shards:.) Again are Headcanon tags that are another specification for which characters, in my fandom brain, are reflections of others.

No harm done, I just wanted to be a little clearer that these are tags that are only really used to help me categorize for this blog.

i’ve been to egypt, greece, and japan (iwanai, hokkaido)! got hosed out of a paid-for-two trip to rome a few years back and i’m still bitter, so perhaps remedying that. cross-country us road trip would also be fun!

Ya know when people told me "when you're finally safe enough that you can leave survival mode and start to let go of and process your c-ptsd/trauma things are probably going to get really, really bad before they slowly start to get better" I thought that was reasonable. I did not understand that by "things are going to get bad" they meant "you're going to find yourself in the worst mental state of your entire life, but dw, that means it's working" and tbh I simply wish someone had been more clear.

Edit: If everyone could please take a minute and think about what it must feel like to be struggling and then have multiple strangers say to your face that they find the prospect of going through what you're going through so horrifying that they'd rather kill themselves and then stop leaving comments like that I would greatly appreciate it.

somehow instead of saying "as a treat", I've started using the phrase "for morale", as if my body is a ship and its crew, and I (the captain) have to keep us in high spirits, lest we suffer a mutiny in the coming days.

and so I will eat this small block of fancy cheese, for morale. I will take a break and drink some tea, for morale. I will pick up that weird bug, for morale.
