that sounds like a Bad Time anon!! HMM i'll tell you what he did just like 10 minutes ago!! I was in my room, putting pillows on my bed, and I totally confused Hugo and made him think that it was time to get up early (it's THREE IN THE MORNING) and he whined in his crate!! I initially thought he was busting to go to the bathroom, but after I took him outside he ran around the house all excited and confused, bc getting up Early means he gets to go to Doggy Daycare, and he was ready to put his harness on and go. It took a hot minute to tell him it's still the middle of the night and he needs to Go Bedtime but he was just like "oh, 3am?? okay here we fucking go"

OOH also, we've played a couple of games of hide-and-seek with Hugo recently. he's great at the "stay" command, so if me or my sibling asks him to sit and stay, and we go hide before telling him to come here, he has a LOT of fun trying to find us. he's really good at it, too.

Miles turn. He gets transformed into a child. 3 maybe 4? Maybe older- oh it's so hard to tell.

He moves to push Kay out of the way. Shield her. He succeeds. She's left terrified that he's disappeared until the bundle of clothes shifts. She grabs the bundle and hauls ass out of there.

He's tiny. Most people are at that age probably. He trails behind her and holds her skirt to avoid getting separated but won't say a word to her. Won't look her in the eye no matter what she says. Just occasionally taps her leg. Tap tap tap. He is super cute though.

She brings him to Gumshoe who Immediately is like CHILD!!!! A PROSECUTOR EDGEWORTH CHILD! Collapses in a pool of tears when Miles Actively moves away and hides from him.

Shields! He'll know what to do. They track him down while continuing to collect clues. Miles is dragged along (as Prosecutor Edgeworth would want!) And his unique perspective (so short) helps them track down the bad guys.

When they find Shields Miles beelines Right for him. Hides his face in his pantleg. Tapping on it. Motions for his hat, and promptly sticks his entire face in it.

"... Got a headache there Miles?" A nod. "I bet we can fix that. But first do you want a hug?"

Shields is reduced to investigating one handed. Even once the kids Advil kicks in he still has to hold Miles hand.

Miles doodles dino feet on a photograph and Everything comes together all at once. They praise him So much for it. He mostly looks confused and uncomfortable.

At the end of the night they run into Wright having just sacrificed his wallet to the Fey stomachs. Shields is so grateful to have his hand back he doesn't even notice for a hot minute.

Miles is a barnacle on Phoenix. Tap tap taps his leg. Phoenix looks So confused until the weirdness snaps into place.

"Oh. Sure Miles. We can go home now."

When Phoenix holds Miles proper from in his arms that night he thanks him. Tap tap tap. For teaching him one of his family signs.

About The Siete Gallos, Spanish Jackie and Jim's Revenge

So when Jim recounts the events of their family's murder to Oluwande they say this:

So we know that at some point Jim takes the family dagger from their father's corpse. And then hides in the woods for a while. That's it.

But between their father's murder and the woods there is a lot of lost time and unanswered questions. Why was Jim the only one unharmed? Where is their brother? We don't see him or his body anywhere. I find it hard to believe that Jim simply ran away and left their sibling to die considering they immediately try to protect him when Alfeo stabs their father.

The way The Siete Gallos act in general is strange. If they wanted to take money or any of the family's stuff (which is like three chickens and some oranges) why were they just standing there waiting for Alfeo's signal? Why did seven of 'the most dangerous and brutal killers this land has ever seen' come and rob one small household in the first place? Why kill a man who wasn't resisting and clearly said they could take all they want?

Speaking of.

I don't think Alfeo's talking about actual oranges here. It seems to me like he’s saying 'What a nice life and family you've made for yourself here'. Jim's father tells him that he can 'take everything he wants' meaning 'take all my money and possesions, just don't touch my family' but after Alfeo replies 'I will' he looks directly at the kids.

There's also the murder weapon.

Isn’t it odd to leave a knife in the wound during a simple robbery? That kind of thing seems personal.

I think Alfeo killed Jim's father because that's exactly what he and the others came there to do. I think the mercenaries knew who they were killing very well. Just look at father's reaction when he sees Alfeo. Yes, it's normal to be cautious of strangers but the man looks completely terrified, almost like he feared someone might come looking for him one day.

I also think Jim's brother might be alive. We haven't seen definitive proof of his death. I think he managed to run away and is tracking down the remaining gang members. Either he and Jim got split up or he decided to leave and take revenge on his own.

Now on to Spanish Jackie. You're telling me it's a coincidence that not one but two of her husbands happen to be in The Siete Gallos? I don't buy it. And her being 25 is definitely a lie.

She says that she wants Jim dead because they murdered her (favorite) husband but considering how easily she shoots Geraldo and then later casually sits down to drink with Jim right by Alfeo's corpse, I doubt she cares all that much for any of them. So then what's up with this reaction?

In episode 8 she tells Jim that she knows what it's like to want the people who took your family from you to feel the same loss. So if she recognized the dagger Jim used to killed Alfeo, remembered who it belonged to and maybe what was done with it then these strong words would be justified. Just not directed at Jim. But at their family name. Jiménez.

Jackie is very careful to keep identities of the rest of The Siete Gallos secret. She masterfully avoids answering any questions about them, disguising it as care for Jim's future and not wanting them to go down the same path as her. Her advice about not wasting your life on revenge is solid but you can say the right thing for the wrong reasons.

'Those bastards are probably dead' is all we get out of her. Why? Because she doesn't want Jim looking for the rest. Because she was the one who ordered them to kill Jim's father and if Jim found any of the five mercenaries left and got that information, of course they would want to stab Jackie in the face.

Anyways, that's it from me. Hope this is dramatic enough for the telenovela that is Jim's entire life.

TLDR: Spanish Jackie is closely tied to The Siete Gallos. Jim's father was the cause of death of someone dear to her or crossed her in some other way and then ran away to start a new life in St. Augustine. Jackie tasked The Siete Gallos with tracking down and killing him. Jim's brother is alive and is hunting down their father's killers.

Wsit, wait imagine. Due to fuckery, Pops finds Tenko and AFO finds little Kai

- AfO let Tenko wander around a bit before his staged rescue, so he kinda... Loses him a bit. Then he finds Kai, and squints. He looks older than AfO remembers the Shimura brat being, but people around him seem to age so fast these days. To be sure, he asks, "Is that blood from your own family?" Little Kai nods and admits he killed them. AfO thinks that the odds of two filthy selfmade orphan boys wandering around the city would be tiny, so he scoops up Kai and renames him Tomura

- Meanwhile, the other little filthy selfmade orphan boy wandering the city is scooped up by Pops and brought home to meet his new big sister. Tenko tells the story of what happened to the Shimura's, afraid of repeating Hana and Kotaro's deaths, and Pops is just like "well ok here's gloves that cover one finger, how about you see this as a second chance to make up for that accident? You be a good family member and we'll help you learn control and discipline and be a good family to you." And Tenko-Chisaki is like "ok" because he is five.

- AfO doesn't remember the quirk he gave Shimura to be so quickly destructive, watching Kai-Shiggy destroy with a single finger, but hey, he's got a lot of quirks to keep track of. And the kid is obsessively clean, even breaks out in hives at the thought of dirtiness. AfO thinks about how his younger brother didn't help with chores or do anything to keep himself clean and healthy, and decides to take it as a win. Three years later when Kai-S learns he can also reconstruct things, AfO gets insanely jealous instead and wants the Overhaul quirk, but the Doctor warns him it's too late to massively rewrite memory again, and besides, he can get the quirk when he takes Kai-S's body. AfO isn't patient and sulks, but agrees.

- Rather than being giving Kurogiri, since Kai-S is clean and manages on his own, he gets more training with the Doctor than canon Tomura did, and is rather a quick study. He finds it disgusting, but he'll do anything Sensei asks- especially once the Doctor whispers his theories of quirk singularity, that only AfO can somehow save them from that.

-Tenko-C, likewise, is entirely devoted to Pops. Pops didn't mean "Family" family when he said what he said, but as soon as Tenko learned there was a crime aspect, he jumped in to help his new dad and defend him. He adored all the yakuza style teaching, and imagined what would have happened if his first family had a neighborhood community that watched out for each other like this, instead of depending on heroes. He is fine with not using his quirk in combat, for he doesn't want to add to the hero-villain conflict that destroyed the traditional ways of his new family. But he does get into fights at school lol and can't believe his big sister would just leave the family like that. When she comes back to dump Eri on them and run, Tenko-C has flashbacks to killing Kotaro and breaks down, thinking he cursed his new family to repeat what happened, but then Pops tells him to get a grip and focus on being a good uncle to Eri, which he awkwardly attempts, and help train her quirk, which he's actually pretty good at! For a emotional 17 year old... Pops says he should go into teaching or quirk counseling, which Tenko gasps at because no, obviously he's supposed to be a criminal heir and drug ring runner! Pops tries to explain he can be both but is ignored.
